Wow! The fried chicken here is absolutely delicious. The meat falls off of the bone and it's nice and hot. I've had the plain chicken as well as the BBQ chicken as well. Both are just as delicious but I prefer the plain chicken instead. Although the customer service was great, I wasn't fond of the lack of options I was given when ordering. I communicated that I strictly wanted six peices of chicken without a side. However, the workers mentioned that I have to get the special which comes with a side of gravy. I love the franchise especially the chicken It's in Brooklyn so I have be fair with this because to be fair I think they are doing a great job here at Jodi we. I ordered the spaghetti with a piece of chicken meal. My mother was with me and didn't look too enthused about anything on the menu but decided to try their chicken tenders. Originally ordered a 2 piece meal with 2 sides and a biscuit from here via Uber Eats and was disappointed to find another customer's order was delivered instead. Uber Eats already worked to remedy this with me and I am 99% sure this is on the driver and not on the restaurant, but I just think it's worth mentioning as what I had eaten was not what I originally had wanted so this may have affected how I feel about it. I have eaten Jolibees before at another location, and I'm normally a big fan of their gravy, fried chicken, and biscuits. What we did end up eating was a six piece Chickenjoy bucket with a large gravy, a regular Crispy Fry, a coleslaw, a Jolly Spaghetti with the spaghetti sauce on the side and 2 Pineapple Quenchers. It took about 45 mins to arrive and was all very hot and clearly just made which was good. Here are my thoughts on the food itself. - The chicken was too greasy to enjoy after about 15 minutes. The pieces were generous but something was a bit off about it. - The gravy was great, I'd expect! - The fries were not very salted or crispy. I had to add salt and crisp them up in my air fryer before eating. - The Pineapple Quenchers were too sweet for me to drink. - The Jolly Spaghetti didn't have enough cheese and I personally dislike the sausage. I am so pumped that Jollibee finally opened near me! No more long trips to Woodside just to satisfy my Jollibee cravings. I'd been waiting forever for this place to open--it was supposed to open last summer, but there were so many delays. My expectations were high because the Woodside location never disappoints. The restaurant is super clean (probably because it's brand new), and the staff was pretty friendly. I went on a Sunday around 4 or 5 PM, and it was basically empty. I ordered a bucket of regular chicken (no spicy), spaghetti, adobo rice, and fries. The chicken was tender, but the skin wasn't as crispy as I'd hoped. Waited in line, asked the only working register - food is not ready, please wait. This whole operation is a MESS. It was super chaotic. The manager is calling out orders - asking someone to make something and the other workers looking around lost. I walked in, and the staff was pretty friendly, but I noticed the delivery drivers are extremely aggressive and may push past you. They may try even to cut you in line while you're waiting. They put flags that indicate which pieces are spicy if you ordered a mixed bucket; that's so considerate of them! The pineapple quencher had ample amount of sweetness to satisfy your thirst and sweet tooth. The pies are fried and super delicious; get out the way McDonald's apple pie! The Angus burger was perfection in a small patty. The fries delivered the right chew and seasoning. They don't sell Palabok, but their neighbor next door Red Ribbon the bakery, does. Really disappointed that they don't sell their Jollibee palabok at this location. But I suppose the clientele of the area probably won't be attracted to the dish but still. As a local Filipina in the area, I was shocked to hear Jollibee was coming to my neighborhood. Most Filipino restaurants are in Woodside. Very few Filipino's reside in Brooklyn in comparison to Queen's and thus also not many Filipino businesses/restaurants in the area. The fried chicken is good and crispy, served with your usual gravy and steamed rice. They sell spaghetti but I was never a fan of sweet spaghetti. I much preferred Jollibee Palabok but like I mentioned, they do not sell it here. They sell it next door at Red Ribbon which is weird since both restaurants are owned by the same parent company, like just sell it from Jollibee? Palabok from the bakery is just weird. A savory pasta dish from a bakery doesn't really make much sense from a marketing standpoint. I order the 2 piece with steamed rice and it comes with a biscuit which is flavorful but not too salty. I prefer it over Popeye's biscuit. My husband likes their chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes. This is our go to order. We also like the pineapple drink but I wish they offered coca cola instead of pepsi. The interior is bright, open, and spacious and since it's newly opened, still relatively kept clean. The service can be kind of slow, but the staff are nice and try their best to fulfill orders when it gets super busy. Being next to a Target means heavy foot traffic so they manage as best they can. Welcome to Brooklyn, Jollibee! I have heard many good things about their chicken (and their famous peach mango pie!) so I decided to pay a visit Friday night. The store is located in a sort of mini mall complex that houses several other eateries, including Smashburger and Red Ribbon Bakery. There is an elevated parking garage as well, which comes in handy as parking can be difficult to find here. When I visited, they unfortunately were not ready to serve spicy fried chicken or ube pie yet, so I opted for the 10 piece bucket ($22.99), the pineapple quencher ($3.49 each), and the peach mango pie ($2.99 each). Although I came on a Friday night for takeout, there were plenty of DoorDashers and people sitting down to eat as well. I did not have to wait for very long, and the staff was extremely friendly and well-trained. As for my thoughts, I found the fried chicken to be a little too well-seasoned for my liking. I would have preferred it to be less salty, but when dipped in the gravy (which comes with the bucket) I did find that it was less intense in flavor. However, I was told that the chicken from competitors like Popeye's is actually saltier in flavor compared to that of Jollibee. The skin was pretty crispy and even stayed crispy the next day and the meat was very juicy and succulent. The pineapple quencher drink was too sweet for me and I had to mix some seltzer with it to tone down the sugar. It essentially tasted like pineapple juice with extra added sugar, so it was not my favorite. But, I really liked the peach mango pie and I enjoyed the crispy flaky pastry crust which reminded me of a lighter empanada. Service was wonderful as the food came out super quickly and was fresh and hot. The spicy fried chicken was actually spicy with a good kick and comes with gravy and two sides. We went with the spaghetti which is sweet and the well seasoned adobo rice. The gravy was a great sauce with everything we ate. The crispy chicken sandwich was flavorful and pretty filling. The pineapple quencher tastes just like pineapple juice, but super refreshing with our meal. Fries weren't anything special, but could be salted more. This is the same rage for jollibee. They're out of spicy chicken until further notice so if you're looking to try that, you're out of luck. I ordered one of the meals for 19.99. It came with 6 pieces and two sides and a side of gravy. After waiting for 45 mins for my food, i was happy to finally get out of there, as it became more and more packed as time went on. You would think they would have this stuff prepared already because this isn't their first rodeo in nyc. But, guess not. The servers were nice. The one person they had on register was happy to greet everyone with a wave and a smile. They finally opened another register after the line was out the door, but the same service wasn't there. No hello, welcome or anything. There wasn't many seats to sit because the wait time was so long, so the available seats were taken by people waiting or some people eating. It was a pretty nice sized restaurant with a couple booths, and high tables. I would say it's enough for maybe 40 people to eat in the restaurant maybe more because of the booth seating. All in all i give it a 3 stars. I'm happy they're in Brooklyn, so i don't have to travel to times square if i wanted it. But, it really is just mid fried chicken if we're being honest lol. The gravy makes the chicken, and if it's not the spicy variety, you're better off going to Popeyes or kfc which is right up the street. I love Jollibee. So when I heard they opened one in Brooklyn we had to try it out. The food as always is delicious. Chicken always the best and the spaghetti I wish was a little sweeter. Unfortunately i don't know if they are understaffed but the garbage bin was filled to the top, tables and sitting area weren't clean, and they also ran out of napkins. It was very busy and it is fairly a new location. I hope they improve but if you're going for the food; it is still delicious. I have ordered from this Jollibee through grub hub and Uber eats. Both times my chicken was delivered short, meaning they always left out chicken from my order. I would order a six piece and both times received 5 pieces. I thought it was a mistake the first time, but when it happened again, I thought that it was no way you can't count to 6. Now I see reviews that say, that, even in person, they forget your order and make you wait up to an hour. Please don't think that this isn't intentional. It was Friday night and we opted for take out. First time trying Jollibee and I was impressed. I was a KFC lover, then Popeye's and now I am a Jollibee lover. IMO, Jollibee fits in the middle of KFC and Popeyes. KFC portions are small and the original is not crispy enough. Popeyes has too much coating, I almost always toss half the skin away and they are only good when it's a fresh batch otherwise, too dry. First thing with Jollibee is all dark meat! YEAH! Thin and super crispy skin! YEAH! Choice of original or spicy, had to get both to compare. The spicy had the tiny flag on each piece which was a nice touch since the spicy level was a tad too much heat IMO, but very tasty and moist. The gravy was interesting. The original was not as well seasoned and not as moist either, but not dry any means. The gravy helped with the original. The peach mango pie was definitely yummy! YEAH! Again super crispy with the peach and mango pieces/flavors bursting in your mouth in that order. Not too sweet with the perfect amount of filling. A bit pricey for the portion, but a must try. Another must try was the jolly spaghetti...hmmm interesting. This was a bit on the sweet side with pieces of hot dogs, yeah...ok. They were out of the Ube pies and this was 6:30pm on a Friday. overall, happy to find a new fried chicken place that is good. We will be back! I came to pickup an order for 9:30 PM but there was an issue with the system and they couldnt get the ticket till 9:21 even though I had gotten there early around 9:10. I didn't mind waiting since I was early but nobody even greeted me as I walked in. Five workers just stood there at their stations and a girl and boy (Angel or something) even argued over "who had to take my order." Once the order ticket came in they didn't even start making my order right away and started doing other orders for people who hadn't even arrive yet. They all stood around while this older tita who took over register and had to tell everyone what to do and seemed to feel really bad for us and was helping us as much as possible. The rest of the workers were EXTREMELY SLOW and one named Angel or something just stood there playing with his glove instead of bagging our food or helping someone put the orders together. The woman who ended up bagging our food took over TEN minutes to put together a bucket of chicken and sides. At this point we had been there thirty minutes already and NOBODY was in front of us on line. This place was EMPTY when I came in. I watched her repackage food 2-3 times and go so slow because she simply should. At one point the workers started just dancing to music instead of putting together the orders. What really was extraordinary rude was when she finished packaging our order, she just set the food down on the counter and walked away. was looking forward to their opening but was extremely disappointed. The place was flooded with water coming from the bathroom, the tables were all "cleaned" and left wet to dry and most of all they forgot about my order. I had to follow it up and it took nearly an hour! When it finally came, the order was lacking! I had to show them my receipt and point it out. What a disaster!
