It has been a while since visiting this Shake Shack location. I placed my order via the app because I was interested in trying some of the Korean inspired items. I decided to try the k-shack fried chicken bites and K-shack spicy bbq fries, which they were running an online deal at the time. The chicken bites were surprisingly delicious and not too spicy meanwhile the fries didn't have enough spice or bbq flavor in my opinion but the fries were good as usual. The overall experience between ordering, pick-up and temperature of food was all good. I went during lunch hours on a busy week day and the space was pleasantly clean and orderly. My only complaint would be that the lighting in the dining area should be brighter, it was a bit dimmed, otherwise all was good. read more

This location seems constantly understaffed given how busy it is, which means that yes- the burgers etc are good but there can be a longer than usual wait while the hard working staff are swamped by Uber Eats orders, people dining in, and people ordering take out, people picking up orders from the app. Less staff means the place can be a bit neglected at times; sticky tables and floors, no ketchup in the ketchup dispenser, non-working order terminals, napkins and wrappers on the floor and so on. I give five stars for the shake alone. However the other items were mid and if you missed out on the Korean chicken bites on the menu you weren't missing out on much. The fries tasted like cheese fries there isn't much of a wow factor to them. This is my go to Shake Shack and their food is usually pretty good this review is just about the Korean menu items. The food comes out pretty quickly and there's usually quite a bit of people as it is in Dumbo. The environment is pretty standard for a Shake Shack. read more

This Shake Shack is located a couple of store fronts away from a Burger King. Do yourself a favor and hit up the Shake Shack. The quality of ingredients and deliciousness is far greater. Nothing is wrong with flame grilled flavor, but as a whole the Shake Shack experience is far better. The burgers are hot, moist and ready to be paired with a thick shake! The stuffed mushroom burger with a hamburger patty is a must try. A little bit healthy, a lotta bit cheesy and delicious. Treat yourself like royalty! You deserve it. Food: 4/5 Burgers done right. Just not a fan of fast food. This overpriced burger was greasy and left an irritating taste in my stomach. A ripped piece of lettuce tried to soak up the cheap meat grease. The fries are not well cooked and tasted frozen and nothing special. The milkshakes are okay but way too much for the price. You can share it with someone. I walked in almost around 1 p.m., and it immediately got full. I proceeded to the kiosk to order, and it was quick. They have the traditional ordering boards in front so you can see what you want to order beforehand. Didn't take too long for my order, maybe 6-10min. I sat at the back; there are plenty of space and available seats, which is good. Condiments and napkins are on the side by the front. Customer service is good and quick. Very clean. I ordered the dreamsickle shake, which is limited time, and the single smokeshack burger. I chose not to get fries because it was a separate charge and not included with the burger. The dreamsickle shake is just eghh; nothing to rave about. It didn't taste neither good nor bad. I thought it was going to have a more orange-y taste, but it just tastes like vanilla ice cream - very disappointed. The smokeshack burger came with bacon and agian it was just eghhhh ok; nothing to rave about. Neither good nor bad. No distinctive flavors, just regular. I was really hoping that it was going to be this great tasting burger full of bursting flavor and i was going to put my money where my mouth is but, I wished I would've spent my $17 at burger king enjoying am impossible whopper that comes with fries and drink. So, in the end, I was right all along. The hype is Just That!. But if you want lunch, visit there and try for yourself. I been to this location a few times. Most recently I got some lunch to go. I ordered a chicken sandwich and french fries on the app. It took a few minutes before my food was ready even though it said it would be ready 15 minutes prior to my arriving. I gave my partner the cheese as I had a very heavy handed cheese dish the day before and couldn't handle more on my fries and burger. There was too much Aleppo spice on top of my fries so I couldn't really taste the hot ones sauce so I didn't like the fries much. I ordered a avocado bacon chicken burger with lettuce wrap - and the chicken might as well have been a chicken nugget. It was smaller than the palm of my hands and I have small hands.
