    Oily Little Fries
    Olivia B.

It so many people complaints in social media that this restaurant is overpriced. I didn't go there for I think 5 years. So I took small little fries and cheeseburger. Fries was over seasoned and super super oily. It was almost impossible to eat it. They put fair amount for $6 (it's overpriced for small fries). Burger was delicious but he looked like he saw a life (see pictures). Overall for almost $20 I don't think it's worth it and I don't think I'll be back.

The burgers are fresh and hot. Fries are ok. They give you plenty for your money. Service is quick. The ambiance - Nothing jumps out as spectacular. Typical 5 guys! Efficient and worth coming back! Had the lettuce wrap burger- surprise the burger was not in a boat so I can eat out of the boat. Had to get a separate plate so I would not make a mess when I ate.

Today I was in the mood for a fast food (but not too fast) burger and decided to give Five Guys a go. Their $3.99 delivery fee is a little steep... but the food is moderately priced, so it was worth it. Delivery came quickly in about 30min. I tried the bunless, lettuce wrapped bacon cheeseburger and it was very, very good (the pictures don't do it justice). You can get as many extra toppings as you want, and it was a really well sized burger overall. If you need your burger fix, this five guys is a trusty option!

Good and convenient location in downtown Brookyln. Service is quick if you don't go during the height of the lunch hour. Burgers - 1 patty or 2, bun or no bun - you choose... and options of toppings..get some or all.. your choice... watch them cook your burger and put it together while you wait. Love the little bacon cheeseburger (single patty)! Just right unless you are hungry... Fries - either regular or cajun fries...if you like spicy go for the cajun. They are very generous here with the fries...order a small and it's like you are getting a medium. Don't forget milkshakes...to top it off...

This 5 Guys is among, if not the best run chain fast food joint in Brooklyn. It's extremely reliable with hot fresh cut fries - real potatoes fried in peanut oil on par with upscale restaurants in Manhattan. Their burgers are fantastic too. Plus they have numerous fountain soda flavors including MANY calorie free options (CokeZero is my go-to - it's very hard to find in Brooklyn). Also on days like Easter when almost every other place is closed you can head here and find an open door. The restaurant is kept clean and employees are always friendly. Further they proved themselves elite for fast food in their pandemic response. EVERY time I've been to this location - EVERY employee has their mask on PROPERLY. I don't know how they do it (great training - great managers - great employees) but it works and I know I will never be disappointed if I come here. Thank you 5 Guys Metrotech. You rock.

Five Guys and Me. I love love love five guys. Juicy burger, free peanuts and "small" fries that overflow into the bag. No complaints, just burgers.

I've heard good and bad things about Five Guys so I decided to try it one day while in the neighborhood. I ordered a small cheese burger and a strawberry milk shake to go. Total was ~$11. They offer free toppings for the burgers (lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, etc.) but I just kept light and ordered a small cheeseburger with lettuce. I've heard good things about their fries from previous yelp reviews, but unfortunately, I didn't order them. I opted for a strawberry milkshake instead, I believe they only have one size. Expect a bit of a wait around lunch time (they make it on the spot). It was a pretty solid burger. The meat was so flavorful and juicy, not chewy at all. Melts in your mouth. The strawberry milkshake has a watery consistency, but I prefer my milkshakes thicker. HOWEVER, you taste small chunks of strawberry throughout the milkshake, which I absolutely loved.

I ordered a double cheese burger, medium Cajun fries and an Oreo Milkshake. Price is not cheap, $20 for lunch. When I order burger, I always get a milkshake. To me milkshake always goes well with burger. Normally their burger is pretty juicy. But, this time the patty was kind dry. Fries and milkshake didn't disappoint me. Yes, I would definitely going back again.

It is simply the best hamburger I have ever tasted in my life. I used to think that Shake Shack was unbeatable, but Five Guys is just better. That is if you're looking for this type of burger: t is a little bit greasier (the burger, not the bun), the fries are excellent, specially the Cajun fries. This is burger that you have to try if you're ever in the cities that are served by this, the fastest growing fast food restaurant in the US. It is on the expensive side of the fast food spectrum, but it is well worth spending those extra dollars.

Good and fresh. I called ahead and enjoyed my order at the restaurant. I really like Five Guys. The fries are so good. I got a grilled cheese and asked for lettuce and tomato. I think I'm going to do that more often! This location is loud and busy. Ppl tend to eat and get out of there really fast.

Both satisfied the hot dog craving I had. There are also tater tots and burgers available. The bread was a bit stale, hence the 3 stars and the bun split on my New Yorker making it messy to eat. The woman behind the counter was friendly and suggested I try the dog featured this month- featuring a fried pickle or the Tsunami which has teriyaki sauce and pineapples. I would stop here again if in the area, but for basic dog a cart will hit the spot.

It wasn't the best quality frankfurter, but somehow it worked with my indiscriminate palette. Flash forward a century or so, and this is the only Gray's Papaya left in the city. Since I'm a survivor, I thought it only appropriate to take Jamie to the original flagship location and order what else but the Recession Special. Sure enough, they still offer it for $7.50. It was $1.95 when I was a child, but it's still a good deal consisting of 2 Hot Dogs (Photo 10) and a Medium Papaya Drink (Photo 9). The franks were the same as I recall, nothing special but if you add onions and pay an extra 75 cents for the chili, it just works. The papaya drink is not a fruit juice but a puree mixed with sugar and milk. It actually complements the dog in a guilty pleasure kind of way. There was a line but it moved fast. There are over a dozen creative configurations, including versions with potato cubes or rice cakes, each with its own quirky appeal. Once you choose your dog, there are 2 more steps: pick a dry topping (I chose cinnamon sugar, which added a sweet-savory contrast) & finish it off with sauces from a lineup that includes ketchup, mustard, gochu hot sauce, and sweet chili. My only wish is that there was actual seating (it's more of a grab-and-go spot) & the wall being wide open made it feel a bit drafty. Still, the food is worth it. Definitely a fun East Village stop if you're craving something indulgent & out of the ordinary.
