I had a great experience here! The lady who helped me was so patient and lovely to speak to. She let me try all the flavors I wanted. I ended up getting a flight ($10) which comes with 6 flavors. - ooey gooey butter cake: I actually really enjoyed this one. I liked that it came with cake bit. My favorite flavor. - peppermint bark: I love anything mint and I liked how this one had bits of peppermint bark - strawberry: I needed a simple flavor to accompany everything else I got but didn't finish it. - chocolate milk and cookies: this was a lot of chocolate, but in a good way. But still a lot so be warned..... -oatmeal lace: this was probably my second favorite. I personally love oatmeal raisin cookies so no brainer that I enjoyed this one. - cookie au lait: I liked this one but the coffee flavor got old after awhile. This is less coffee than the espresso flavor though. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Tomorrow is vday! If you're looking for a treat after your dinner plans this Valentines day, look no further Vday Chill- Taste great! Better to share. And if you have a sweet tooth you'll love! Love Spell- I'm not a hot chocolate lover but this was superb 10's across the board. The place is spacious. And outside of Valentines day their icecream is great as well. Service can be a hit or miss. Sometimes the staff looks irritated.

Ice cream is one of my favorite treats so I was curious to try Ample Hills Creamery. I just finished a workout (don't judge me!) and decided to check them out. It wasn't crowded. An employee asked if I like oatmeal, which I do.--he let me sample the oatmeal lace. I really enjoyed it and decided to get the small size. I didn't realize that it comes with two ice cream options. I chose to get the cookies n' cream. Both ice creams went well together--for me anyway. The service was good and I want to go back and try other flavors. They also have vegan flavors.

I went here for ice cream yesterday and I absolutely loved the flavor & quality! The staff were friendly and the ambiance was laid back and had seating. I was able to enjoy my ice cream sitting down

I revisited the social for the first time in years this evening and yes, it was just in fact as fantastic as I remember. As many reviewers mention, I fell in love with this ice cream back when it existed under another name and was disappointed to notice the drop in quality in that *brand who will not be named.* Imagine my delight when I learned the original purveyors of the best ice cream in Brooklyn rebranded and opened. Go here. Get a scoop of anything (I like the oatmeal lace) and experience transcendence. Also, the prices are super reasonable compared to other North Brooklyn scoop shops.

Stopped here after a nice walk at prospect park. It was a drizzly day around 4pm and the place was empty except for 2 customers and 2 workers. I was unsure of what to get but landed on a orange milkshake and a coffee cookies and cream milkshake. The coffee milkshake was really good and tasted like having a coffee flavored slushie. The orange milkshake was delicious with a fun fruity taste in milkshake form that ive never had before but will definitely have again. The place itslef was quiet calm and clean. And the workers were friendly and happy to help.

This has by far been my favorite ice cream shop experience. The minute my son and I walked into the venue. It was so inviting and smelled amazing. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain everything to me. I saw the death by chocolate advertisement on Instagram and had to come right away. It was definitely worth my visit. I was surprised to see if they had a play area for the children and they even had a game room that had lots of family games. We played jumbo Jenga, tic-tac-toe, pinball and many other games. It was such a relaxing and fun environment, much more than I expected. I will definitely return in the future and you should too!

Came by on one of the hotter summer days in desperate need for something cold. There aren't as many flavors in person as they had on their website. I really wanted a mint chip-esque flavor, but I settled getting the strawberries and cream and the cookie au lait. I thought the flavors of each of the ice cream could be bolder. The cookie in the coffee ice cream was very much on the sweeter side for me, so I wanted a bolder, more bitter coffee taste. The strawberries and cream wasn't that sweet which I preferred, but it wasn't strawberry forward either. It's not the creamiest ice cream I've had. I loved that they let you get two different flavors with any size. I ended up getting a kids size which was more than enough for me. The space is enormous, and it really seems like it's meant for kids given the vibrant colors.

Spacious, friendly, plenty of flavors, ample outdoor seating and even Lactaid pills! What more could you want from an NYC ice cream spot? They have some classics like chocolate fudge, and also very innovative flavors like the Paris (tastes like a jam croissant) and mallow (ice cream version of cotton candy and marshmallow). Prices are a little high at $6 for a small with 2 scoops, but not significantly more than other gourmet ice cream spots. Skip the ridiculous lines at Van Leeuwen, this spot is a winner!

The spot is on the corner of the block and there are plenty of indoor space to sit down. They have very different exotic smash of flavors. I decided to get two large cups which you can get 3 scoops of flavors each. They docnot have everything listed on the menu though. The time we went, there were no donuts available either. Morning in Paris - butter croissant ice cream with raspberry jam - can def taste the jam but not butter croissant Banana pudding - banana flavor was bold and came out really good. You can taste pieces of nilly wafers too Chocolate cookies - chocolate ice cream mixed with big pieces of oreo.. taste like cookies and cream but with chocolate instead Chocolate flake - chocolate ice cream with pieces of chocolate, I believe it tastes like flat/non crispy wafer that is stale Coffee flake - coffee ice cream with chocolate flakes - coffee was not as strong as I thought it would be but still good. Marshmallow pop - marshmallow flavor ice cream with rice crispy - not too sweet with a good change if texture of the crispiness

    Large ($8) for 3 flavors

A solid ice cream place but I think it falls flat compared to the original Ample Hills flavors, which was my favorite ice cream store. The ooyer and gooyer was good but I miss the chunks of butter cake. The pecan pie crumble was good as well but the crumbles were a bit too hard compared to the ice cream - it was maybe my favorite but still a notch below my favorite flavor of Salted crack caramel. The strawberry we got just as a contrast, but it was a little too tart for my taste.

I seriously love this ice cream shop! The flavors are delicious and rotate based on season, etc. The shop itself is a great size with nice outdoor space too to hang out and bring kids. This is some of the best ice cream I've had in Brooklyn and the business is family run and has a great story behind it. Super fun place to bring the family and will be back! The ice cream itself is great and rivals some of the other spots in the city and in my opinion is better. Quick and easy ordering at the counter.

Such a cute dessert spot! Unfortunately there weren't any donuts left which means we'll have to come back to have some! I wanted to try to donut sundae but since there were no donuts we got a pint of the peppermint and pb ice cream to go. A pint is $10 vs a $7.95 large.

I was blatantly dismissed after my order intake, payment, followed by receipt request with a rude scowl apathetic look. Why project an insolent attitude towards customers? Possibly ergophobia or social anxiety disorder to be surrounded by people? I exist. I matter. I am human. I am one life in the smallest measurement. "I exist as I am, that is enough." -- Walt Whitman By the power of observation, the next customer who went through the linear process of intake ordering, payment and waiting this same male server/cashier visibly made the same negative body language gesture again with disdain visible look. There is no reverence for customer service, but blatant insolent wayward behavior! Unfortunately, this male server/cashier appeared the sole worker on duty. Can this male server smile or nod to acknowledge customers' order request vs. "I wash my hands of you" vile negative body language? When requesting a printed sales receipt, it can only be either emailed or sent via text. Apparently, The Good Batch uses Square Register, a point-of-sale (POS) cashier register system as their paperless cash register, thus, no printed sales receipt will be printed but can only be either texted or emailed. I highly prefer Counterpoint as a functional and effective POS cash register for all retail brick and mortar businesses. The exterior appears to be a local, small quiet independent bakery business with a bakery glass display case loaded with various baked goodies accompanied with coffee. I entered with tempered expectations which was reduced to inhumane of near emptiness. This bakery offers British scones, but I have a strong predilection for American biscuits (either buttermilk or non buttermilk). There are ice cream sandwiches available. No comment for any as I did not purchase. Nota Bene: "Return Policy: All sales are final." Price is extortionate exceedingly high for mediocre baked pastries. Business cards are available for grabs which also appears much difficulties for this same male server. I refused to include this business card to my collection box. Backed by Giacomo C. and Michelle W.'s negative reviews, I agree 100% The Good Batch does not entice my interest for a return visit. The Good Batch, a bakery business is accessible via MTA NYC Transit C local train at Clinton-Washington Street subway station in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn followed by a reasonable walk. Chocolate chip cookie $4.00 It was hard and very bland. It was not sweet nor semi-sweet in any form. It was not worth the trek to Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, the negative body language for insolent wayward behavior, followed by the acquiesce email receipt request and the extortionate exceedingly high price. I exited dispirited with utter despondence. Bye, Felicia!

All those flavors pertain to the topping of your cup--the actual drinking hot chocolate is all the same no matter what you get. The drink itself was underwhelming and nothing I'd return to. It's so chewy and tasty, you'll feel your glucose spike through the roof. If you're into sweet--this is an indulgence for you. Pretty pricey for $7.50 per cup plus tax. Between the three flavors, all were tasty. Just depends on how much extra you're feeling on a particular day. Szechuan peanut butter gave the most unique flavor--slight spiciness to the crunchy brittle sprinkled on top of the marshmallow. If you go with classic, you won't miss out, honestly, as the toppings didn't add much depth or make any significant difference in the taste of the drink. No bathroom on premises. Very limited seating inside: a few stools that would fit 4 people max. If you come here during peak times, you'll have to eat outside.
