    Dogs eat free

This place is an amazing place on the side of prospect to grab some ice cream! It had the vibes of an upstate ice cream shop but in the middle of Brooklyn. Super family and dog friendly and it even says dogs eat for free! Any place with those values deserve a 5 stars for me! It's near this Italian restaurant too so you can order a sandwich with your ice cream if you're coming here as a salty tooth instead of wanting ice cream if you arrive in a group. There's lots of tables and chairs available and there isn't any cover so on rainy days it probably won't work out but it's a super friendly and popular place for families. Often there's children running around and lots of different dogs that visit. The soft serve is good and satisfied my cravings! I can't wait to try their other flavors next.

Pleasant service, clean environment. The ice cream, was good. I had the strawberry cheesecake and Cookie Monster ice cream in a waffle cone. Good portion for the price. The strawberry cheesecake was tasty, I wouldn't order the Cookie Monster again, too much blue food coloring.

I recently had one of those "I Can't Believe That I Didn't Review This Place" moments when I went to check-I'm during a recent visit. I frequent this particular location throughout the summer months because it's not open all year round. It's about a 30-minute walk through Prospect Park and less than 10-minute car ride for me. Over the years, they have added more tables while becoming more dog friendly; they now offer doggie ice cream. They have also steadily been expanding their menu by adding new flavors and ice cream creations. My first love was Birthday Cake Ice Cream but I occasionally cheat with a Passion Fruit Slushie. I would say that the new flavor on the block Apple Pie Ice Cream has become my second wife. In as much as they have changes with the times, some core things have thankfully remained the same. Everything that I have tried tasted great. The customer service is great; they are very patient and generous with the samples. They maintain their old school ice cream parlor vibe behind the counter. They are still CASH ONLY. Through some cash in your Fanny pack and jog on over to try some creamy ice cream goodness before they close for the year on November 1st.

I love this local ice cream spot. There is so many flavors you can choose from and a flavor for everyone even your classics. It is a cash only facility so be mindful to that but I don't mind it love the old school cash only. Anyways back to the ice cream it's this outdoor window booth ordering style. They were very kind and quick I got the cherry vanilla flavor it was so good I love the pieces of cherry every bite was so good on a nice warm fall day. You can sit and enjoy it outside in their outdoor seating are they have plenty or take it to go. They have milkshakes, floats, sandwiches all variety of ice cream options to choose if you don't want just scoops. Anyways great spot, great people, great location and great affordable tasty ice cream

Delicious ices (we loved our passion fruit and peach, but there are so many flavors of ices and ice creams) and root beer floats, friendly service, and several tables and benches in front.

I love this place! I love Italian ice! It's the perfect place to stop by, especially if you want quality flavors and a wide selection. I love getting the chocolate ice and sea salt caramel ice cream - it's such a great combination. the chocolate ice is very rich, very dark chocolatey, and the subtle bittersweetness of the dark chocolate is a great foil for the sea salt caramel ice cream. covid compliant, cash only, worth commuting to/visiting/going out of your way to enjoy it.

Tried this place last night. This location was definitely a hidden gem. Last night I was very disappointment. While I enjoyed the work staff and the service they provided the ice cream was terrible. It was not as rich and creamy as I remembered. Also parts of the ice cream had freezer burn and the cone was very stale.

Just had the best ice scoops I've ever had. I was on the hunt for a slush during the lush weather and this couldn't have been a better choice. There is a burst of flavor with great consistency. It A hidden gem for the summer! I already can't wait to go back

We came to ULG around 3:30pm on a Wednesday. We waiting in line for a few other families to order. Make sure to stand directly under the sign so you can tell between the Italian ice and ice creams! The employee was very nice. He made an egg cream drink and a double chocolate peanut butter milkshake. The egg cream was simple yet delicious, as well as new and exciting(for me at least), and refreshing. The milkshake was soo good. It was the perfect ratio, texture, and creamy ness.

Great service, good prices! Staff was friendly, they even offered my dog a pup cup! We tried the passionfruit and lime. Highly recommend that flavor combination.

$6 ices ( for 2 scoops)!!!! No matter it's taste ... and in an outdoor establishment ... Save your money and go to the nearest deli for a Bette price option then crossed the street and sit in beautiful Propect park

You can see the products from the glass, the staff was quite warm and approachable. They were happy to let us taste test from the menu before committing. I saw lots of viable ice cream and ice cream bar options. Eventually I settled on the almond coconut bar. If you like Almond Joy, you'll be in heaven when you taste this. The flavor was rich without being intoxicating and it was the perfect treat for an unseasonably warm day. The prices are Fort Greene. This is not Baskin Robins per se. You're getting gourmet flavors in a pricey area so for me, that's not an issue. Sit outside, enjoy your ice cream, people watch and enjoy the experience.

Dear Customer Relations,…read more I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent experience at one of your establishments. Last Saturday, I purchased an ice cream cake from your store. When my family and I cut into the cake, we discovered that I had been sold the wrong cake. I immediately called the store to explain the situation. The employee I spoke with apologized and told me not to worry, stating that if I came back the following day, the store would replace the cake at no charge. The next day, I returned to the store and explained that I was the customer who had been sold the wrong cake. The employees were already aware of the situation. However, instead of honoring what I had been told over the phone, I was asked whether I had a picture of the cake. That requirement had never been mentioned during my phone call. By that point, the cake had already been served and eaten at an outdoor gathering, so I no longer had it to photograph. I then asked to speak with a manager or supervisor because I felt the situation was being handled unfairly. No one responded. I then asked for your corporate contact information so I could address the matter directly. A gentleman who identified himself only as Kevin provided me with the corporate email address and told me to take a picture of it because they did not have enough business cards. After I thanked him, he asked what had happened, so I explained the situation from the beginning. At the end of the conversation, I politely asked for his name. He responded by saying, "I don't have to give you my name." I was surprised because I had remained calm, respectful, and had not raised my voice, used profanity, or behaved in a disrespectful manner. I simply wanted to know the name of the manager handling my complaint. When I asked again who the manager was, no one answered until it became apparent that Kevin himself was the manager. His refusal to identify himself and the way I was treated made me feel disrespected and dismissed as a customer. As a Black man, the interaction left me feeling as though I was being unfairly judged and treated differently. Whether intentional or not, that experience was humiliating and deeply upsetting. I have been a loyal customer who regularly visits your establishment to purchase ice cream, ice cream cakes, and milkshakes. I never expected to be treated in this manner over a simple mistake that was not my fault. I have attached my receipt and any other supporting documentation. I am requesting the following: A full refund for the ice cream cake I purchased. A formal investigation into how this incident was handled. Appropriate corrective action regarding Manager Kevin's conduct and customer service. A written response explaining how this matter will be resolved and what steps will be taken to ensure other customers are not treated similarly. I hope your company values its customers and will address this matter promptly and professionally. I look forward to your response.

We came around 8 at night on a Sunday and the restaurants have ample of space but by the time we left around 8:30pm restaurant was crowded. We were surprised. We ordered skyice sampler. The flavors we got were Thai tea, ube mascarpone, black sesame seaweed, white miso almonds, and honey ginger. The presentation of the Thai tea scoop was the same as years ago when I came here it also included two chocolate graham crackers. The black sesame seed taste interesting. It was both savory and sweet at the same time. They also include two little pieces of nori on top of the scoop. Too much surprised the white me so almonds didn't taste that strong. It has very mild taste. Didn't really taste the miso. The honey ginger on the other hand when you first tasted it it taste a mile but when you swallow it, the ginger started to stay in your mouth. They also include ginger candy pieces. Overall, I like the flavors that I choose and will come back again to try other flavors.
