I have passed this location a million times, and never stopped. Given all that we have been through this year, we have to look for places that have been always there and we have been too busy to see. This place is one of those places, the owner doesn't just service you she gives you an experience. I had the mango frozen yogurt with fresh pineapple and coconut flakes. It was light and satisfying.

A great location, with outdoor seating. The variety and selection of fro-yo AND bubble teas is amazing. My son and I enjoy this place very much.

Nice place to get some classic Italian ice, there is no frozen yogurt here. Only assorted water ice is available here.

Ordered delivery on Seamless and despite having paid and waiting 20 minutes the store then called to cancel my delivery.

We've never been to the actual store but I have called over there a few times with some questions on flavors and ingredients and they have always answered the phone politely, professionally and have been wonderfully courteous so I don't get where the prior bad service reviews are coming from. Our order yesterday arrived as it always does; on time, perfectly hand packed and placed expertly in paper bags with each container clearly marked as to the flavor. The driver was super cool as well. Here's the best part; their ice creams and sherbets are out of this world delicious and have become a favorite of ours. The Cherry Vanilla is superb as is the Vanilla Fudge which we tried for the first time. Just the right amount of fudge mixed in so it does not overpower the yummy vanilla ice cream. I'm a fan of the sherbets too because they have a lighter texture and a nice bright flavor. Do yourself a big favor and give them a try whether in person or via delivery. They also have a really nice variety of flavors with some creative, unique mixes that stand out. I sampled three flavors: hazelnut coffee, grandma's apple pie, and the chai. I ultimately settled on the apple pie, which was delicious. It was creamy, well-balanced, and honestly you wouldn't even know it's vegan. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to a past visit where there were refrigeration issues and communication around timing could have been clearer. We were initially told to come back in about an hour, but it ended up taking significantly longer than expected. That said, I would still come back because the ice cream itself is really good and the flavors are worth it.

Because somehow I noticed the "Alkaline" in the store sign but never noticed the lack of animal byproducts in any of the visuals. That would explain why all the ice-cream felt so light and airy, yet rich and satisfying. It might also explain why my stomach didn't hate me several hours after trying the spiced Chai Wala, satisfying Chocolate Crave, nutty Pistachio, or Dubai-esque Hajji and Hijab. No photos because I inhaled my plant-friendly treats like a pig.

When I do this; I usually find " buried restaurant treasure". On a recent visit to Prospect Park, I decided to try a different place and got off the B16 at Caton and Coney Island Avenue. The place: Lark Cafe. I was in a mood to cheat and have a toasted wheat bagel with scallion cream cheese and a Chai. I got almost everything, except, wheat was sold out and chose sesame bagel. As I waited, I wanted to check out the adjoining ice cream shop that sells Jane's ice cream, made in the heart of the Hudson Valley. I will return for a future cheat. Jane's is known for popular flavors as Killer Chocolate, Blue Zoo, Unicorn Cake. My order was ready and one bite of the bagel: heaven! The bagel was toasted to perfection and the scallion cc was delicious. And what a generous schmear! The Chai was light and frothy. As I devoured, patrons around me were typing on their computers enjoying Stumptown coffee and iced tea. LC offers a variety of tasty options: whitefish on a bagel, smoked salmon, cheddar chive biscuits, tea bread, croissants, doughnuts.. The ambience is relaxed and there is a book nook if you need a good read. Lark also hosts private events and for families there are sing along and story times. The service is kind and my bagel was absolutely made with TLC. I left Lark happy and walked straight to Prospect Park. Off the beaten path is always full of nice surprises! On top of that, the tahini dressing complemented it well. I'd definitely go to this place again.

The dipping cabinet was full of great flavors this week, fruity, chocolatey, creamy, with sorbets and ice cream alike. I was eyeing the mango and coconut and pina colada, but needed a caffeine boost, so I settled on the very tasty espresso chip and chocolate. They had tons of cupcakes, from red velvet to birthday cake, lemon cheesecake and chocolate mousse cake slices. Macarons by the dozen were ready for snacking. Staff were friendly and wearing masks. They do have a nice selection of flavors though, like honey lavender, passion fruit, birthday cake, white chocolate, peppermint, and more. I think the bigger thing though was the staff member doing the mask under the nose thing. I know I could have said something, but I honestly don't think it should be up to the customer to tell you to wear a mask properly - I'm not a person who likes conflict and is uncomfortable telling people what to do, but it made me feel uncomfortable and later on I was even feeling uncomfortable to eat the macarons because I kept feeling like what if droplets got on these?? Etc. I know that's not likely but still - they're the thoughts that go through your head and something the business should be aware of. So I would just say for future be aware of proper mask use.
