Smashburger is head and shoulders pandemic careful above most eat-in fast casual places, and it has terrific service and a nice atmosphere. Five stars are not in the cards, alas, because the Double Classic was Salty with a capital S. A little salt is a good thing. Always understaffed and slow. I live close and sometimes I just don't want to cook, but the service in this store is horrible. Tonight, I waited for over 5 minutes before someone greeted me to get my order, and 4 other customers had come in and waited behind me. Hi guys!! Don't go to this location. Poor customer service. My family and I entered this restaurant and were never acknowledged. Once we stated we wanted to be helped please we were told "we are out of cheese and most everything else." My spouse was upset. As we walked out some of the cooks were outside smoking weed. We should've never stayed after we were warned there was no fries and a half dozen other items by the cashier. $17 for a what you called chicken sandwich, a disgusting bacon burger and a drink. We work across the street at the VA and their burgers and chicken sandwich is better than yours, and that's not saying much. Will never return and will spread the negative word not to eat at this smash Burger location, should've went to IHOP and will in the future for a real sandwich. Don't go here during lunch hours especially if you're in a rush. I ordered online at noon and by 1:15 the order still wasn't ready. Then they got the order wrong and forgot my milkshake. But everyone is too busy and you literally have to wait 10 minutes to get anyone's attention. Needless to say I never ended up getting my milkshake. I've have a love-hate relationship with Smashburger. The food and service have been inconsistent at the four locations I've been too. I live but a mile from a Smashburger that I despise so I tried this location which is 5 miles further away. With half the staff of other locations, this store was able to get my order done quickly and with great customer service. The young man who took my order couldn't have been more than 16 or 17. I don't know the legal age limit but whatever it was, he was on that limit. He was very helpful with my order, asked the correct questions, and answered all my questions. There seems to be a manager on site which I think is a good sign. Most places without a manager just had terrible service. Even though I have to drive an extra 5 miles and will arrive home not as fresh as I would like, I will continue to go to this location in the distance future. read more

I came to this location when I was on a business trip in Denver from St Louis. I thought that I was cleverly hitting up a spot that we don't have at home, only to find out that there is a location in the Chesterfield area just outside of St. Louis! Apparently someone does not get out of the city enough... I enjoyed the experience. Service was fast and friendly. To see what their namesake specialties were all about, I stuck with the smash burger and smash fries. I was not disappointed! The burger was pretty traditional, but generously portioned and perfectly cooked. Lots of toppings and a soft egg bun made it even better. However, the burger is eclipsed by their amazing house fries...rosemary, olive oil, and garlic...YUM! I added pepper and was in love. I used a little ketchup on a few bites, but it didn't need it. They are thin, crispy, and bursting with flavor. Very upscale for a casual burger joint. They have one those soda machines that you can mix and match any flavor combo known to man. What is it with those things? I am endlessly fascinated, and I'm not even a big soda drinker. They are good fun for a kid at heart. Of course, it broke down momentarily while we I was waiting for my food, and it took three workers to figure out and correct the issue, so I guess they can be a hassle as well. Smashburger is another good addition to the ever growing list of casual burger chains popping up everywhere. Oh Smashburger, we have to talk. I'd never been before, my guy and I decided against our better judgment of our usual whichwich. We like to try new things! I'm veggie so...okay black bean burger, I can dig it. Nope. Ok so the smash part, I guess I get it but the portion of my pattie that was within the bread...was about a quarter of an inch while the rest of it that fell around the outside of the bun was probably an inch. It fell apart, everywhere. I cant even say that it was grilled...it was the oddest pastey texture. I also added blue cheese, I think I saw a crumble in there somewhere...maybe. Also, I have to order fries separately? My boyfriend got a chicken sandwich and we shared an order of fries. 18 bucks??? Fresh, well-seasoned burgers. While some of the items are a bit on the pricey side and the rest are borderline outrageous ($4.49 for a milkshake!), the burgers are good. I really dig the smash fries ( thin cut fries seasoned with garlic, rosemary, and olive oil), though I wish they were cut a bit thicker. If they're even slightly over cooked they are hard. I had the Colorado (green chilies, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pepper jack an cheddar cheese on a smoky chipotle bun) and it was delicious. The service was fast and polite. I was impressed with the quality of the burger and all of the supplemental ingredients that accompanied the burger. I ordered deep fried pickles and they were really good. Reading these reviews and LOL. I have NEVER had a good experience at this location. They never have enough staff, and are so disorganized, you end up waiting for your food forever. Ordered online today at 11:30am for pick up at 12:00pm. Waited 10 min to be addressed/acknowledged then waited another 10 min to get my food that had been sitting on the counter, not under a warmer. So, not sure if it had been there for 45min, but it was cold, and i could not wait for them to re-make it, as I only had a 30 min lunch, which is why I ordered online. We stopped in for a quick bite before heading off to Vail. Good burgers, quick service, clean location. All in all quite tasty as far as fast, and healthy-ish burgers go. He got the fries which were very tasty, but I decided to try to be 'healthy' and go with the veggie frites but was disappointed bc I thought they would be battered but were not - big let down. I wouldn't give this place one star, but I wanted to leave my review. My son hasn't eaten in over a week due getting MIS-C a life threatening symptom caused from Covid. He's been hospitalized, and wanted food outside the hospital. I searched near by places and he picked Smashburger. I was hesitant as I do not really enjoy Smashburger's service. Today was no exception, the service was BEYOND poor, from the cashier, shift lead, to the manager. I tried ordering a kids cheeseburger with a couple toppings. I was told they will not sell me the item, my son clearly doesn't have the appetite for an adult diet due to his illness let alone being a child. They told me If I wanted to order toppings I'd have to order an adult menu, where I was continuously told I was trying to abuse the system. I even asked them to charge me for the toppings (lettuce, onion, Mayo, mustard) they refused and said we don't charge for those toppings but you cannot have them. The children's menu is for up to 12 years old and some children love vegetables on their burgers and I can say my children enjoy it and it makes me happy as a parent that they're not picky eaters. I ended up ordering my son a kids cheeseburger, the only way they'd allow me to leave their establishment with it. As I promised my son I'd return with. I then we next door to the restaurant near by and ordered a sandwich from them so that I could get the items I needed for my son's burger where I even offered to pay for the sides there. They gladly provided me the sides and didn't even question me, or charge me for the items. The kids meals at all other local establishments are cheaper, and they come with toppings. Not a single burger place has a plan burger unless you specifically order it that way, and this should be no exception. By trying to make a couple extra dollars off a customer today you lost my business forever. No place should have the right to tell someone what they can and cannot order. Maybe someone can only afford your $7 kids meal, but that is $7 you weren't going to bring in with revenue otherwise, customer's are what keeps your business alive and your paycheck coming. I even spoke to the manager at Smashburger, where he even enlightened me that his shift lead Dano has been written up 3x for giving people items on children's burgers. In my opinion you should never share someone's personnel file with anyone especially not a customer. The service was awful and this place is unprofessional. read more

This was my first time here and i have high expectations when it comes to my food so here goes. We are in Colorado for vacation. Decided to stop here for dinner and i had the Spicy Jalapeño Baja burger and smash fries. The burger was really good. Loved the meat. But was not spicy. Had to add Cholula sauce. But i like spicy. Also had fried pickles which were good and also fried chilli peppers. I was surprised that the fried peppers were really good. I would totally come back here on my next trip to Colorado. read more
