Lynx Transport removes the stress of moving all of your cherished belongings: they carefully wrap, label, dismantle (when needed) & carry with loving care and hard work. They're the best for any size move! We used them in 2023 for one move from Hastings-on-Hudson, NY to a storage facility in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY and again from that storage facility to Westport, Ct. We highly recommend Lynx Transport for your future move!

I would give them 4.5 stars, but that's not an option in the ratings…read more I used this company 5 times in the past 6 mos...my wife and I each moved from our apartments, we moved out of our apartment and into storage (which they offer at a great deal), and then finally again to our new place. These guys are professional movers. Their job is to pick something up, wrap the bejesus out of it with a roll of tape (even if it's just a tea cup mind you), and then load it up, unload and unwrap. They move quickly, they don't talk, and they just execute the job. That's why they're called movers. Now for the finer details: are they gently with the boxes? As with all movers, this is a hit or miss. They don't drop boxes, but they do assume you packaged them carefully. Your extremely fragile items I would leave for you to move yourself - doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. They handled my LCD TV no problem, wrapping it in blanket and cardboard to protect screen. When they disassembled my bed and moved the long posts, they were careful not to bang into walls. They were considerate with our lamps as well. Another reviewer mentioned they tracked dirt into her apartment. Give these guys a break - they are there to move and then move FAST. They not gonna wipe their feet every time they enter your place. You're SOL if it rains and you live in a cattle ranch with any mover!!! Garnett was my point man when it cAme to scheduling with them. Professional, explained everything in detail including charges and breakdown (by hour and minimum). Let's be honest here...we all tend to underestimate the move when we tell them what we actually have. They are on a right schedule and need to coordinate with other moves for the day. So be honest with how much garbage you want them to lug around. You're not saving yourself a dime when you not honest. Garnett went above and beyond for me when I needed to get my stuff out of their storage and into my new place (with two days notice)!!! I will always appreciate that and I can say everything was inventoried properly and returned without a problem!!!! Can't complain about that. I must comment that there was this one mover, a large guy who literally looked like Stelio Kontos from the cartoon American Dad. He must have been 6'6" or something. Real pleasant guy, very friendly and nice. He needed to use the bathroom so I let him - must have splashed urine all over the place. The residue smelled strong of uric acid/nitrogen by-products. Would really lead me to believe this guy needs to get his kidneys checked out...unless he's snacking on plant fertilizer between moves! You need a mover? These guys will get the job done....and they're reasonably priced!! They need to make a living too - give them a break cheapo!!!

My Experience With Advanced Pro Movers -- Please Read Before Booking…read more I hired Advanced Pro Movers on July 17, 2026, through U-Haul Moving Help to load and unload my belongings. The owner, Aaron, advised me that the movers would likely go over the two hours I had already paid for. I agreed to add additional time through the U-Haul app. However, Aaron asked if I could pay him directly through Cash App instead, and I agreed at the time. I later learned that additional moving services and payments associated with a Moving Help booking should be handled through the Moving Help platform. This became especially concerning because I had purchased U-Haul's SafeMove coverage for my move. Since I paid the unloading portion separately through Cash App, I was concerned that the damages to my belongings would not be covered under the protection I had purchased. When Aaron and his team loaded my U-Haul, I noticed that they did not use the furniture pads that were provided with the truck. When they unloaded my belongings into my storage unit, my items were placed inside without what I considered reasonable care. A few days later, certified movers helped me with my belongings and discovered that several items had been damaged. I originally left a good review just like the other customer before I saw the damage they caused when my certified movers came to move my belongings from storage. Thank God for the cameras in the storage unit because Aaron is trying to place the blame on my other movers. When the cameras prove everything. I contacted Aaron and requested a refund because of the issues with the service, but I did not receive a response. I was charged $150 through the Moving Help website and an additional $180 through Cash App for the unloading portion. The storage unit was directly across the street. Aaron also told me that he had recently lowered his pricing around the time I booked. Additionally, I gave Aaron a couch to sell on my behalf, and he sold it for $225. In total, Aaron received approximately $555 from me between the moving services and the couch transaction. I'm sharing my experience so other customers can make an informed decision. If you use Advanced Pro Movers through U-Haul Moving Help, I recommend making sure every moving service, additional hour, and payment is processed through the Moving Help platform rather than paying separately. I also recommend taking photographs and videos of your belongings before the movers arrive, during loading, and after unloading, and keeping records of every payment and conversation. This review reflects my personal experience with Advanced Pro Movers on July 17, 2026.

When I offered disposable masks and gloves they declined and said they had their own. Two of them ended up wearing bandanas and one person put gardening gloves on. By the time they got the furniture to the new place I had a cracked bookshelf, scratched furniture, a broken lamp (they ripped off the light bulb with the socket, instead of untwisting the lamp), missing screws and a broken front door to the old place (they removed the door to move bigger furniture, when reinstalled the door would not close). They were supposed to refund a portion of the moving costs to fix/replace the damaged furniture and repair the broken door. After a week dodging my calls and messages, they finally responded after I posted a negative review to their thumbtack. Jose, the team lead had the nerve to tell me he did not appreciate the negative review, when he was the one ignoring my communications. Two months after the move, they refunded 2/3 of what they owed back. It has been another 3 months since and they are still not refunding the last 1/3. Vance, the owner is still not responding to my communications, much less Jose, the team lead who was present the day of the move. If you want to spare yourself the trouble of dealing with such unprofessional and dishonest people, find another moving company. DO NOT WASTE YOU TIME OR MONEY WITH THESE FOLKS.
