After cracking my screen on my Apple Watch, I searched multiple shops on Yelp and Victor at smart fix was one of the most competitive rates, but mostly he had the best communication by far! He has two locations in malls and also offers mobile services. He came to me on the same day and immediately starting working on the watch. He went above and beyond and the watch looks amazing. Big thank you to Victor for doing such an amazing job, and for the great communication. He services OC & IE, I am so happy I found someone that is very reliable near me!

Update: the day after Victor replaced my screen, the screen had lines of dead pixels. I sent a video of it to Victor and he said he'd order a new screen and replace it again if needed. Since then, he's completely ghosted me. I've been trying to contact him nearly every week since end of August -- text message, yelp message, phone calls -- but no response. What's worse is that he still has one of my other iPads because he needed more time to diagnose what was wrong with it. So I haven't been able to get that back. Asked him multiple times to just return that iPad so I can get both fixed properly somewhere else, but again -- no response. To future customers: sort/look at all the recent reviews. He's ghosting everyone after their "repair". Convenience/price isn't worth it. If you decide to go with him, don't expect him to respond afterwards -- and do NOT let him leave with any of your devices for "further diagnosis"

I have never had to fix a cell phone in my life and after about 30 years my time was due. I needed to find a mobile cell phone repair, as my life is busy and don't have the time to go looking for a shop and wait. I contacted Victor through Yelp and gave me quote and said he could come to my work and fix it. He has a mobile shop that makes it convienent for both of us. My Samsung A12 phone died, the screen out of nowhere started having horizontal static lines and flicking. It shutdown and never turned back on. I was beside myself, there wouldn't be anyway to recover all my texts, photos, data, etc. Victor said he could do it. He said if he fixed the screen, the phone would turn back on. I was very skeptical, but he said if he changed the screen and it still didn't turn on, he wouldn't charge me. He changed the screen, fixed a cable connecting to the motherboard, and behold, it booted up again. He saved my life. There are a lot of important documents on that phone. My phone screen was damaged due to dropping and it happened on a Sunday night. I found out about the Smart Fix via Yelp and decided to send a massage that night. Surprisingly the massage was replied in a prompt manager and Victor was able to fix my screen for a very reasonable price at my work place the very next day. I was very pleased with his service and will recommend him for any apple product hardware fix. Really great and prompt service, my phone screen was repaired while I waited in the comfort of my own home. Victor replaced my cracked S20+ screen with a defective one, and I notified him of this. He immediately came back the next day with a new screen and replaced it in little to no time, and now the phone is working as it was prior to me cracking the screen. I was shocked once they quoted me with the price was very reasonable beating out others business I had reach out for repairs best honest straight forward ready to take care of you in a timely manner and they were fair not trying to scam you with extra charges not needed to add other type of repairs only completed the repairs requested with no issues just the way I it needed to be and with a big saving compared to others quoted received was far less than others being quoted double the price. Victor repaired 2 iWatches for me. One had and issue with the battery and the other had the screen detach. The convenience of mobile service, timely repairs and reasonable prices are a huge plus. I had my confirmation of customer service when I had to contact him again to address a small concern with of the repaired watches and he came out the next day and corrected issue. Mixed review, initially we were very pleased quick response, manageable price, he did a little extra without charge. Few weeks later my husband phone battery ran out of charge and after charging the phone would not turn back on. My husband suspect when the glass repair was done the connector button probably was misaligned. He reached out via calls and text from my phone to Victor but sadly no reply after 4 days we had to take the phone somewhere else and paid to have it fixed. As suspected the on button was misaligned. All we were asking was for him to correct the misalignment but unfortunately the customer service was just not there. We do not believe this was done intentionally but just wish Victor had taking his customer service to the outstanding level and fix the issue. I wish I could give 5 stars but follow through is just as important as the initial contact. read more

I took it in and after looking at the phone, I realized that both speakers were out. The ear speaker and the loud speaker. He gave me two possible quotes on the ear speaker. He would try and clean the ear piece first and if that didn't work, it would be replaced. I returned 1 1/2 hours later and I was charged for the cleaning only. No replacement was needed. I love that he was honest, reliable, and VERY REASONABLE! I highly recommend this business. They are located inside Ontario Mills so you can drop off while you shop.

Very knowledgeable and won't attempt a repair that isn't worthwhile or may not remedy the problem. Updated 2 weeks later: They seem to have lost the passion for this repair. It wasn't a bad battery needing replacement as the new one won't take a charge. They attempted for several days to get it charged enough to transfer the data but every promise of tomorrow heat put off to another tomorrow. I will pick it up and remove the hard drive and transfer the data myself. Very disappointed from what we started with.

Well, some 1 star reviews i hate to write and this is one of them. Did a yelp request for screen repair, this one seemed to be the best price and most convenient. Left the phone at my office and they said they'd be by in the morning. around 2 pm sent a text on the way. Changed screen out, seemed fine, the contacts weren't super precise, but hey, what are you going to do. Fast forward 2 days and screen completely goes black while it was in my pocket. No drops, no hits, just black. i can hear tones and what not so i know the phone is functioning but screen is kaput. Go to verizon and purchase a new phone as i was going out of town that morning (perfect timing right) and get back on monday and message through yelp (i couldn't text because... you guessed it.... no phone). Reply was sorry i'll order a new screen, truck is in the shop, will be a couple days. Friday i reach back out after no contact and reply was "sorry i forgot, i'll get it ordered, text me as i don't always get yelp messages. Here comes tuesday. No contact, send a text direct to the number provided. Crickets. Some people have a bad day or a bad week, but at this point i have had no phone for a week and now i'm not too sure it will get fixed as i've gotten the run around. read more

At first I was very excited to repair my screen with Victor because his cost was much cheaper than everyone else's. He also assures that his screen comes with a lifetime warranty. He replaced my iPhone 14 max screen. And immediately it was an uneven screen. It has an area that goes up and it created a dead spot. Furthermore the screen has phantom clicks and becomes unresponsive after 20 mins of constant use (such as videos). You would need to rest your phone for hours before it becomes responsive again. I messaged and called Victor, and I shared all these concerns. He first said he will get back to me next week. So I gave it a week. After I called and reached out again and he ignored me on yelp and phone. I followed up daily for a week but continue to get ignored. read more

I am not the type of person who gives reviews, but honestly I had to for this company Smart Fix. I was searching for a place or someone to fix my Apple Watch since my screen cracked and couldn't see from it so I wanted to find a place with a good price and good reviews and came upon this company. So glad I did he is a mobile and on time for when you are scheduled. He fixed my watch the first time and the screen looks like it was brand new. Once I received it I charged it the screen worked but the touch didn't I gave him another messaged and of course he responded and came the same day to fix the problem with no extra cost. I woke up to my phone with a black screen. I could hear it ring, but I could not see any of my text messages. In addition, the back of my IPHONE was cracked. It was a nightmare as I had to communicate with staff and clients. I had used SMART FIX on three other occasions for other devices and have always been impressed by the professionalism, value, and speed. Victor was prompt, professional, and extremely pleasant to work with. I requested two quotes. One was the front of my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and a second on the back of a different iPhone 12 Pro Max. I had an Ipad with a cracked screen and in roughly 30 minutes it was like new again. I can't say enough of how great the service was. I didn't even have to leave my house! The price was a great value considering taking it to an Apple Store would have cost me at least double what Victor charged. Fixed 2 phones for me VERY quickly! I reached out about 10am and he got back to me asap and set up a time, same day! The price was very doable! I got quotes from many other places and all charged more plus you had to go to them. They come to your house and fix it right there for you! One of my phones was complaining busted front and back.
