The girl that took the order (I think her name is Julia or Jillian) she's pictured was so sweet and patient with taking our order we had two separate orders. When I find something I like. I tend to frequent the establishment because it's something I enjoy. However on this particular evening it didn't go well. Sienna is at the window to take the cash and hand over the orders. I had two separate orders and paid cash for both. I paid for the first received my change, paid for the second I get the sodas (which always taste weird but by the looks of the machine I see why) I asked Sienna where's my change she says you paid $12.41 which was the total I said No. I gave you $20.50 so I knew I was supposed to get $8.09 back she calls over a manager our food is ready so I guess sienna explains to her that I want my change. The manager is at the window her name is Sophia she ask for my receipt I give it to her she counts the drawer down. I get it but she could've asked them to make our food fresh since it sat there while she counted the drawer so it's getting cold due to an error. Just had lunch there with my wife, son and grandson. Slim's meal x 3 plus a child's meal. It was delicious! Real chicken! Nice buttermilk breading on the chicken. Nice quantities. Awesome selections of sauces. I went with Mango Habanero and BBQ. No complaints, Thumbs up all around. Mary was our hostess and she was excellent. Checked on us multiple times. Honestly this place was not great when they first opened up, but they really turned things around and have impressed me. The chicken is a bit mid on it's own truthfully, but when it's in a sandwich or in their salads it's AMAZING. I love thier silm salad, it comes with fresh ingredients and fried onion which goes well with everything. Their ranch is creamy and delicious. The people at the window are very nice and polite as well, they don't have a rotating door with their employees and it's nice to see familiar faces. I haven't been inside before but i do plan to at some point, i just usually go when it's pretty late in the evening and they still make things fresh. I've now had slim chickens in 3 different states and I'm impressed to say that the quality control of this chain is definitely on point. Chicken, fries, and Texas toast were all good. Drove around this place quite a few times and told myself to stop there many times but would forget. Finally was able to dine in. The place has ambiance and spacious, has machine sodas, strawberry and regular lemonade (all with free refills). Ordered classic meal # and #4. Both meals weren't disappointing. The chicken tender are tasteful and the fries hot and delicious! They have condiments on each table including ketchup sauce, and menu. One of the cashier walked around asking if things were okay and if we needed anything. Thought that was nice. The cashier informed me that if I completed the survey on my receipt, I would get a free brownies ....well, not only did we do the survey but we got the brownies but they were soft, amazing, and addicting. read more

Been back a couple more times, and the food is a little better than my last visit review. I will say we did some catering from there, and the catering was perfection, not one single thing was wrong! I just wish there was more consistency in the quality on each visit. Just went there this past Saturday and got a grilled chicken wrap, which I would not order again. The grilled chicken had connective tissue which made it difficult and unpleasant to eat, although the flavor was good. The tortilla was a tad too thick, which made it difficult to bite through. Also got their potato salad, which is normally awesome, but something was off with the texture. Instead of being creamy, it was sort of mealy and curdled, which was weird. The tenders and sauce were still good, though. Definitely not my go-to chicken place still, but I will keep giving them chances every so often because when it's good, it's great! read more

I understand this place just opened so maybe why this was a miss for me. They are pretty good with marketing which is why I wanted to try them out. I typically do not do fast food joints at all so this is one of my first reviews for one. Their packaging is really nice so I appreciate that. Their customer service and speed was on point. As far as the food goes the chicken tenders were good not great but not terrible. The ranch sauce was not over watery so was good, lots of choices there but stayed safe with ranch. The fries and bread unfortunately were both a flop for me. They didn't taste fresh or crisp at all. I hear the mason jar desserts are the best thing on their menu but for a chicken fast food joint I guess I expected more. read more

We've eaten here twice now. The food is good; and because we did to-go both times can't speak about service. We like the to-go option as it does prompt you to tip while ordering, you walk into the store and it's right by the door. The food has always been ready when we got there. We've ordered: the chicken Mac N Cheese, chicken and waffles, chicken strips (4) and fries, fried pickles, and five sauces. The Mac n cheese is really good it's a white Mac n cheese, with crispy chicken, fried/caramelized onions, green onions, a small amount of buffalo sauce, a small amount of a white sauce, and I believe bacon bits. I personally thought a flavor was missing the first time I had it, so when we ordered the second time I got the spicy bbq sauce as part of the five sauces pack and added it and loved the meal even more. The fried pickles are good, the pickles seem really thin but I like pickles so the thinness doesn't bother me too much. The coating on them is thin enough that it doesn't take away from the pickle and slims sauce that comes with them compliments them nicely. The chicken strips are good and are of good size. Nicely breaded and pretty standard fried chicken in my opinion. Their fries are crispy and not over cooked. We also tried their red velvet shake and it was really good. The straws for shakes are large in width making it slightly awkward to drink through them. Their fountain drinks are crisp, but their "sweet" tea tasted like someone put a packet of sugar in my cup and said that's good. I personally like my sweet tea - sweeter than that. I was craving chicken and just happened to pass it and said hey why not! I've seen other locations and my many trips between SA and DFW but never had the chance to stop. Based on the parking outside I thought we'd be waiting forever to order/get our food but nope! When we walked in it definitely was busy (didn't realize it was noon when we got there) but they were very fast! And on top of that, the service was top notch. We were greeted and helped by a very sweet cashier named Mary. She was so patient and kind. My bf and I both got the 4 strip basket, his with buffalo and mine with sweet red chili sauce. While we waiting I decided to use the restroom and it was nice and clean. Gotta love that! Our food came out relatively fast considering the time of day by another sweet woman by the name of Amanda. She came by several times and was very attentive. The food is pretty average, I'll admit (although the sweet chili sauce is to die for) but for slightly over $10 each we got our moneys worth. The chicken and fries were basic which is fine with me because it was exactly what I was in the mood for. The bread is super yummy. Although the location is a bit out of my way, I would definitely come back to try their other menu items. The bone in wings was another issue...I am used to juicy, flavorful wings. These wings were not that.
