Chocolate chip cookie vanilla ice cream

We came around 930pm on a Thursday night. Staff were friendly. Lots of great options! I got a scoop of chocolate malt crunch and it was great! My friend got a chocolate shake and she enjoyed it. My other friend got a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and a snickerdoodle. The cookie was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside! It was a good spot for dessert. You gotta pay for parking if you drive here and that's a bummer. Other than that it's a good place.

YUM!!!! A coworker recommended Slickables and I am so happy we stopped by. You can build your own ice cream sandwich and they have a variety of cookies and ice cream to choose from. My sandwich was made with a brownie, a chocolate chip cookie, and cookies and cream ice cream. My husband got a blonde brownie, sugar cookie, and cookies and cream ice cream. We picked up dinner across the street to go and grabbed this for dessert after, so my only regret is not eating them immediately because the ice cream melted a bit before we made it back home. We were the only ones in the store at the time so it was quick service. The inside is small with a few tables and chairs to eat inside. This is right on Mill Ave in Tempe so it's a great location to other things in the area as well.

Cute little ice cream shop on the corner of Mill and 7th. They don't have very many flavors but what they did have was good, and they make up for it by also having a bunch of cookies. It was empty on a Sunday night. The prices are also very reasonable, it was $2.75 for a scoop and then an extra dollar for toppings. I'd for sure come back!

Special thanks to Tony for helping us pick out our delicious ice cream & cookies. Slickables is very clean & excellent customer service. We got to try lots of different samples before making our selection.

1/15/22 Quality/Quantity - Single scoop of Chocolate Malted Crunch. They also offer: Frozen party packs - Ice Cream Sandwiches. Freshly baked cookies. Fudgy Brownies or Caramel Blondies. Atmosphere - Small local to-go ice cream parlor Temporary Hours During Coronavirus Pandemic M-Th 3p - midnight Fri, Sat, Sun noon - midnight Street parking; we walked. Service - Good, nothing to write about. Was patient. She was most likely a college student. We were not able to try any samples due to the pandemic. They also offer catering. Delivery by Grubhub and Uber Eats. Price - Very reasonably priced. $2.75 a scoop. $1 for a waffle cone. Owner Suggestion - I know that $2.75 is a good value, but maybe offer an option of 2 half scoops...? So we can try more flavors without over eating...

We were wanting some ice cream and around the area. Slickables is located right on a Mill Ave with street parking and parking garages nearby. We walked in to fresh cookie and brownies and plenty of different ice creams to choose from. We decided on an ice cream sandwich with 1 funfetti cookie and 1 M&M with strawberry ice cream. We also got a scoop of birthday cake and mint chip for the kids. When we were checking out they also have a basket of "day old cookies" 4 to a pack so we grabbed one of those. Everything was only around $10!! I thought that was a great price for everything. The cookies were freshly baked and chewy. We really liked the funfetti and M&M they were both good. The ice creams were all so good and creamy as well. Definitely a great spot to grab some dessert and we will hopefully be back soon!

Cute little ice cream shop, this was a nice stop after eating on mill. $4.50 wasn't bad for an ice cream sandwich where you decide the cookie and ice cream they put in it.The cookie was fresh the ice cream didn't have a much of a salted caramel flavor but overall I would recommend this place

This is the best ice cream spot on mill ave, they use thrifty ice cream!!!! The cookies are so so bomb. The guy who took our order was so sweet and very quick to make me and my friends ice cream orders. Will be coming back!

A great place to stop in and get something cold and sweet. Pick your icecream flavor(s) and a cookie, and you got a winning sandwich combo!

I was excited to come here as I thought the reviews were great, but it was overly sweet. The cookies were dry and just overall ok.

I like the pleasant atmosphere. Nice and low-key place where you can relax and enjoy your ice cream. The general manager, Connor, is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He is always a pleasure to talk to whenever I have some time for a friendly conversation during my lunch break at work. Every time I stop by, he ensures I feel welcome and right at home. Another bonus is that they have a rewards program, which offers five dollars off once you accumulate enough points. I recommend it to anyone in the Downtown Tempe area who is looking for a delicious ice cream treat.

She was super friendly and knowledgeable and let us sample multiple flavors before deciding. I also thought it was such a cute touch that they give you real metal spoons to sample the ice cream instead of the little plastic ones. All of their ice cream is homemade, and you can definitely taste the quality. I ordered the Pecan Turtle Sundae, and baby it was phenomenal. They also have purified water available for customers, which was another little detail I appreciated. Parking tip: Since it's in the city area, you'll most likely need to park in a parking garage. Make sure you bring your parking ticket inside because Sweet Republic can validate it and give you 2 hours of free parking. The only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 instead of a full 5 is because the inside is pretty small. There's probably enough indoor seating for only about 4-5 people, so it's definitely more of an outdoor-seating or grab your-lice-cream and go type of spot. That would be perfect during Arizona's fall and winter months, but during the summer heat, I definitely want to sit inside with some AC. Other than that, everything was phenomenal. Great homemade ice cream, amazing customer service, great vibes, and convenient parking validation. I would absolutely come back.

A Nostalgic, Must-Visit Dessert Destination in Old Town Scottsdale…read more Our party of six visited the Sugar Bowl for dessert following a friend's birthday dinner. Upon our arrival, we were accommodated immediately and seated without any delay. The parlor features a wonderful, nostalgic aesthetic reminiscent of the late 1900s. Its menu is remarkably expansive, offering an impressive variety of options that goes well beyond what one might typically expect from a traditional dessert establishment. The service we received was patient and polite. While one of our table's orders was initially overlooked, the staff corrected the mistake instantly as soon as we brought it to our server's attention. As the name implies, the menu leans heavily into decadent, sweet treats; those looking for lighter or tart options like yogurt variations will find limited choices, but the indulgent selections are perfect for traditional dessert lovers. The surrounding neighborhood adds significantly to the appeal, offering an excellent Old Town atmosphere filled with art galleries, historic shops, and artifacts. If you are visiting the nearby Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art (SMoCA), enjoying dinner in the area, or simply taking an evening walk, I highly recommend stopping by the Sugar Bowl for its unique historical charm and experience.

I considered several options in Phoenix area to review, but I decided to go with the iconic Sugar Bowl in Old Town Scottsdale. They have a bar area and standard seating. I remember I first went here when I was in high school in late 90's/early 2000's. Ice cream was always top notch. I used to get the Buster Brownie, which was this big brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream, goeey marshmallow topping, whipped cream, & cherry on top. It was awesome! I loved that way back then. I got lunch there once or twice; pretty good sandwiches, but the real highlight is the ice cream. My most recent visit was in Jan. 2022 with my dad. We decided to pop in for ice cream. It was as delicious as I remembered.

Cashier didn't make any recommendations to other ice cream cones of modifications to make the cones work in place of missing strawberries. I had to ask a few times to figure out if I could get a certain cone without strawberries. I got the Cheesecake Cone, it was good but very messy. I'd recommend sitting down to eat. I wasn't give a napkin or spoons but you definitely need it especially if it get hotter. The price is up there for a singular cone it's about $11, they also have optional tipping that doesn't feel optional. The restaurant is clean, but lacking in keeping you around. They have tables you can stand around outside, but the objective inside seems like to get you ice cream and get out; I'm sure it makes sense during busier times. All in all it's good, just not great.
