10/10 knock out experience! Excellent, friendly service from the owners, an adorable little spot, and the best ice cream. They make their ice cream from scratch in an older, traditional way from Mexico. They let me try like 5 different flavors and were super generous with the samples. I ended up ordering the Gansito flavor for one scoop and the Pay de Limón flavor for the other scoop. Both were absolutely delicious and the cone was great too. We took some paletas to go so I'll look forward to some of those at home. Delicious helados here!

    Cute seating area.

Such a cute place and the nicest people. I'm so glad I stopped! This is a family business. I met mom Laura and son Luis. They make all these amazing ice creams, paletas, horchatas, agua frescas, and more. They also have all sorts of snacks like eloté and nachos, mangonadas....lots of options. The key lime pie ice cream is so good! We took home assorted paletas. So far I've only had the mangonada paleta and it was fabulous. It has Chamoy sauce parts that really make it unique - and delicious! I also tried the horchata and it was really good. The building is set back a bit from the road and has parking. Look for the pink trim and you won't miss it! The hours were 1130-8 but I can't remember if they close any days. This isn't far from Cocina Madrigal, so save a little room after dinner and check this place out. Or if you're too full of tacos, get your paletas to go!

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had here. We were visiting from California and we found this little gem on Yelp. The service was stellar. The employees were friendly and the owner went out of her way to make sure all customers felt welcomed. The food is amazing! Everything was fresh, affordable, and so good. Highly recommend the churros. They have three different types. My favorite were the classic churros with cinnamon sugar. Will be back next time we are in Phoenix

We've worked our way through what feels like almost the entire dessert case over the years, and I can honestly say I've yet to find something I didn't love. Every pastry is beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and tastes like it was made with so much care. This visit was all about the cannoli, and let me just say... craving officially satisfied! The shell had that perfect crisp snap, while the filling was silky, rich, and just the right amount of sweet. It was everything I had been dreaming about and then some. Walking into The Sicilian Baker always feels like stepping into a little slice of Italy. Between the gorgeous display of desserts and the irresistible aroma of fresh pastries, it's nearly impossible to leave with just one treat (don't say I didn't warn you! ). Whether you're stopping in for a post-dinner dessert, celebrating something special, or simply giving in to a sweet tooth like I did, this place is absolutely worth the visit. Every dessert we've tried has been phenomenal, and this cannoli was another delicious reminder of why we keep coming back. Sweet craving? Check. Happiness? Double check.

Have a meal at The Sicilian Butcher and then follow that up with dessert at The Sicilian Baker. There are several locations in town, with this one being in North Phoenix. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Thursday. Parking tends to be busy in their complimentary lot, but you'll find a spot. Ambiance (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is connected to The Sicilian Butcher. It's a small bakery, with only a few seats. More of a grab-and-go type of spot or the source of your dessert if you're dining at the restaurant. While small, the decor and ambiance is nice. Service (3/5): A little bit of bad luck, but on my most recent visit, they were having trouble with their refrigeration so no gelato was available. While interacting with the staff, it was an average experience. I will say that the service was much better in the restaurant. Drinks (N/A): I only got dessert, but they do have coffee and a few other beverages available. Food (4/5): The Sicilian Baker is known for its cannolis, tiramisu, gelato, and lobster claws (dessert, not real lobster haha). On my most recent visit, I had a cannoli. They have your classic cannoli but also a nice variety of other fillings including pistachio, Reese's, and more. A+ for creativity, though I decided to stick with the classic. Solid. In fact, all of the desserts I've had here over the years have been quite good.
