Decent slice. Got plain cheese and a Greek slice. Put them all in one box and made a mess of them.

My mom and I always come here and just get a slice of whatever they have. Without a doubt if you are in Highland and are hungry for some good cheap New York style pizza this is the place. The workers are nice and it's one of the few places that sell Coke products. Come here and you won't be disappointed. They also have killer Junior's Cheese Cake with new flavors as well 10/10 read more

slice of pizza was blah, the spinach rolls looked like they were cooked last week so yes they looked really old and tasted old.stop making so much food and leaving it to sell for the next day. read more

Recently ordered the Buffalo chicken pizza and a green pepper/pepperoni/ ricotta pizza. The Buffalo chicken was on a garlic bread base and wasn't the typical ranch and hot sauce version. It was really good but I would've ordered extra ranch next time. The other pizza was perfect. We also ordered the big salad and it was great too. Delivery was quick and friendly. When I've been inside the shop before it's a fast paced kitchen but there is a good amount of seating. You can watch them making all the pizzas from the seats read more

Ordered pizza online at 1:30pm for 6pm delivery on a Friday night. Pizza arrived at 6:03pm, hot and delicious.

Pretty good, reliable pizza. You know exactly what you're gonna get, and it's a step up from a place like dominos. The slice was big and pretty tasty, and I like that they gave Parmesan and red pepper packets instead of having to use shakers (covid safety!). They had some tasty looking garlic knots which I'd definitely like to come back and try. Their vegetarian options were cheese and a white vegetable pizza when I was there. read more

The pizza is amazing, got the chicken bacon ranch and the supreme. Looked at the receipt when I got home and they charged $3 to NOT put olives on the supreme. I can understand additional charge for adding an ingredient, but $3 to subtract an ingredient on a made to order pizza is absolutely absurd. read more

Delicious slices of pizza! I thought $4 was slightly pricey for a slice (to get full you'd need 2), but the flavor was awesome. The crust was slightly crispy and the sauce was simple. I'd definitely come back again! read more

Our go-to for greasy (but not too greasy) New York style pizza! I've never actually dined in at Slice on Broadway, but we've gotten a pizza for take-out from the East End and South Hills locations at least 3-4 times now. Prices are reasonable for the large size, which gives enough pizza for 3 very hungry people. You can often find coupons in the Clipper Magazine as well! Our favorite pizza is the supreme. The sausage crumbles are ::chef's kiss::. They have really great flavor and Slice on Broadway is generous with toppings. read more

This is the absolute best. I fu**ing love this pizza. It's a far cry from the corporate places, I'll tell you that. Really really good. They make it on the premises themselves, the cheese because I think they found the cows they make the cheese they grow the corn that the cows eat I mean it's all sustainable I think they they have women in the back of the pizzeria banging on rocks making the flower you know? Really great pizza. read more

Ordered the Supremo as I was passing through town. Ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the actual restaurant, but they make great pizza, with lots of flavor and a wonderfully crispy and chewy crust. Really glad I didn't just dial up Dominos. I'd definitely order again. read more

A three star rating is warranted for this location as it misrepresents red sauce pizza which I find to be a staple of any 4 or 5 star pizza restaurant. I highly recommend the environment and the white pizza, for those seeking a new place to try. But Slice has a very acidic tomato like sauce that I failed to enjoy (I can't put my finger on it--just didn't like the sauce). I would very much like to give this location a second chance but I don't live near this place anymore. If you're on the T and need a pick me up--this is a great alternative if you're hungry after coming home from work. 5.9/10 read more

Damn good pizza! It's crispy and bubbly and there's a lot of options to choose from on the menu. We got a sandwich and it was pretty good too. The service was great inside at pickup. We'll be back! read more

Pretty decent pizza, but not the best in the area. My main complaint about it is the slices are very soggy until you get close to the crust. The slices are so big and soggy that it is tough to eat, even if you fold it. However the flavors are still pretty good and they do have some very good ranch. read more

Amazing food and decent service. I'm there at least once a month for pizza. I love enjoying the atmosphere with my friends.

This was my 3rd time here, I ordered: Large pizza, extra sauce, meatballs, tomatoes and extra anchovies. They forgot to add meatballs, extra sauce, there were almost no anchovies on the pizza. They did add meatballs after the fact. I am sure I paid extra for what I did not get. read more

Slice on Broadway is a mini chain of slice shops in and around Pittsburgh. This branch seems out of keeping with the sleek modern new food places around East Liberty but they do a pretty good slice of New York style pizza. This particular branch has friendly counter staff and while the restaurant isn't dirty it's a little beaten up and lacking in charm. I had a slice of mushroom pizza which was piping hot with a thin crisp base and tasty sauce. All in all it was a pretty good slice, on a par with what you find in NYC, but I would say that they skimped a little on the mushrooms. Prices are on the high side for Pittsburgh - comparable to what I would pay back home in NYC. It's more of a 3.5 Star place for me but I rounded it up because I did enjoy my 'zza. read more

If you're looking for thin-crust New York City style pizza in Pittsburgh, this is one of the best options.

Amazeballs. Gotten this a few times and I gotta say I am obsessed! Made me fall in love with pizza all over again

Always my go to when I'm bored of gourmet pizza and I want NY style pizza always thin and crispy.

The buffalo chicken pizza was greasy to the point that it was falling apart. It also has enough garlic salt to kill a baby vampire. The cannoli was so overloaded with almond extract and quite soggy. The cheese sticks were the only solid part of what we ordered and they were still meh. read more

It's a miracle! We have FINALLY found a 100% great pizza place in Pittsburgh! This is it! We've tried soooo many places and have been disappointed so many times. Even more expensive places have failed us. Slice is actually affordable although considering how good it is, I would totally pay more to get pizza this good (glad it's affordable though for real). They were SUPER accommodating about my slightly odd order, and even called back a minute later to double-check something to make sure it would be 100% to our preferences. I always really really appreciate when places do this. I can't even explain in words how good this pizza is. The dough is incredible in so many ways (perfect crispness, perfectly chewy inside of the crust, FLAVORFUL unlike most pizzas around here..), FRESH mushrooms thank god, a great variety of toppings and great quality as well.. I get sauce-less pizza so I can't quite vouch for the sauce but I'm sure that's good too! They even have 3 sauces to choose from. Also it even reheats well! You know it's a good pizza if it tastes good hot, room temp, OR reheated *thumbs up*. Just literally the pizza I've been dreaming of finding for uh basically my whole life! THANK YOU, Slice!! read more

This was the 1st time I ordered from slice on Broadway because I heard it's very good. I ordered 1 plain pizza And 1 pizza with pineapple on it. Came home, opened the boxes and instead of pineapple, I got pepperoni which I cannot eat today because my family is catholic and it's good friday. The pizza was very good but not sure I would order again The person taking my order over the phone even Repeated my order back to me 1 plain cheese pizza and 1 with pineapple. So obviously, the person making the pizza didn't take the time to read the order.$42 is a bit much for 1 extra large and 1 small pizza. And 1 of them wasn't even correct read more

I've found Slice to be hit or miss. When they hit the pizza is really good NY style. When they miss it seems a little undercooked and doughy. I do go back but am disappointed when it misses. read more

Their pepperoni/steak/spinach knots are delicious! Do not order the garlic butter dipping sauce though, it tastes bland and like a plastic bottle, get the marinara sauce instead. I have tried a variety of pizzas from here and was not impressed by any of them, they all kind of just taste basic i guess. The hoagie rolls have a nice crunch and texture but nothing memorable either. I will definitely come here again but only for the knots. read more

My husband and I love this place. It's the closest thing to a NYC slice you'll get in Pittsburgh. Thin crust, great flavors, fresh toppings...we love that they use fresh mushrooms and they roast the hot banana peppers in-house. I'll start with the food the pizza overall is decent but if you compare to minios or AL or Vincent's or Napolis no it's not that good but if you're comparing at Domino's or Papa John's it's good. But the real reason for my review is whether it's being a driver being a gig worker or a customer because I do go in there that the people that work there it's like they don't want to have a job like they don't care that you're a customer and they treat you like an absolute piece of poop ( Keeping it clean for the kids) I called to find out if my food was ready as a customer and when I came in they said I had to do was walk in I didn't have to call them as they're busy I mean I'm paying $24 for a pizza and they say crap like that to me well and it's not the first time it's happened they obviously have super ignorant people that have no Cruz and I'm just glad my kids weren't with me because I don't want my kids seeing that that's how people act when they grow up. Just so I won't Newcomb where I said their pizzas average and the people are below average they do sell these steak rolls which are out of this world. I feel that was a very safe and honest assessment of their business of going in there is a customer and a gig worker read more

The food is always good and most of the staff is nice. Sometimes the food can take a minute to come out but that depends on what you get. However, there's an old man with glasses and a whitish/red beard that has a fat attitude and always has a snarky tone when dealing with patrons. read more

I ordered two large pizzas from this location and spent $32.75. One was a standard red, and the other a specialty white. I was extremely disappointed with the product. The sauce on the red was tasteless and generic, no spice was added to enhance any flavor from what seems like a typical canned sauce. The pizza dough was chewy and borderline undercooked. The white was incredibly dry. The little cheese that was on the pizza didn't even come close to the edge and all of the toppings were pushed towards the center as well. There had to have been at least an inch of crust that was bare. Toppings were clumpy. I struggle to find a decent pizza in Pittsburgh, especially here in the East End. The search will continue as I will not return to this location. read more

The newest pizza spot in East Liberty is a hit!! Although not new to Pittsburgh, it is new to the area and it is a great addition. Slice offers a menu of unique pizzas and hoagies that are delicious! The pizza comes with an extremely crisp crust and packed with flavor. I also tried the spicy Italian hoagie and it didn't disappoint! Service was quick and kind, there's a lot of seating, the interior is clean and sharp, and it's BYOB!! What more could you need?! read more

The food is good but this location needs much better time management. Ordered about 6 months ago; arrived at my designated time but they hadn't even started my order so I left. Today gave them another shot. Arrived at designated time (time they gave) and it wasn't ready add 45 minutes to the original time and finally had our food. Won't be coming back to this location but if you choose to add at least 30 minutes to the time they give. read more

Absolutely shambolic. I ordered from this place on grubhub but i wish i had come to yelp first to check it out. Luckily i didnt have to talk to any of the staff to order but once i placed my order i was surprised to find all these extra charges on my bill that were not listed on the menu (or listed as $0.00). No attempt was made to contact me regarding any of these charges and when i called to ask about them i was told that "you should have just known" about them . When the food finally did arrive (naturally later than expected) the disappointment did not stop. The garlic knots were cold, hard, and inedible. The pepperoni roll (also ice cold) had maybe 2 tiny slices of pepperoni in it with almost no cheese. The worst part however was the buffalo chicken sub. To match the other 2 items, it was colder than Siberia. I thought at least the "buffalo" part of this sub would spice things up but no, there was so little buffalo sauce that all you can taste was the overprocessed cheese. The chicken itself was obviously precooked, precut, and refridgerated for fast use (like microwaved before being put on). I feel bad that a chicken had to die and end up tasting that bland and old. I wouldnt recommend this place under any circumstances and honestly have no idea how they are still in business with such lackluster service. read more

This was pretty bad pizza. I decided to try it because a lot of reviews said it was like New York pizza... But the sauce tasted like ketchup and the cheese did not taste like real mozzarella. The crust had cornmeal on the bottom, which gave it a little bit of a crunch but a bad taste. Garlic knots were OK. If you are a student looking for a pie I suppose this place is fine... read more
