Now that is NY pizza . Got off the ferry from New London and headed directly here . I believe it was the owner how waited on us and it it was great to get a dose of the LI /NY accent . I have pretty much given up eating pizza, I can't take the disappointment. There are things I eat that resemble pizza but this is the really thing . Thin crust , real cheese perfect ratio of sauce and cheese ... we had to order 2 extra slices after we ate the first one . They did have a thicker crust pizza that looked good but we were here for the thin crust. Wanted to atop on my way back to the ferry but has not left enough time .. we will have to make this a regular stop . Wish it was closer . read more

We were here on vacation and wanted some pizza and this place was close to our rental so we decided to order pizza for takeout. We ordered the thin crust House Specialty. It was DELICIOUS! Which is great because every Pizzeria On Northfork is horribly over priced and for no reason! Slice of 48 has great Tasting Dinners and the people working there are always extremely friendly. The Veal Francese was lemon forward which I liked, but the butter sauce was a bit watery and lacked in substance. Small portions. Pasta is definitely your everyday store bought variety. Their pizza is OK, not great. I've had most dishes at this place and you can bet your bottom dollar nothing here will blow your socks off. I would give the new owners zero stars if I could. The food is awful now and they said they delivered my desserts which they didn't. The delivery driver fought with me about it and then thought he hung up the phone and didn't and said" she looked like a crackhead". I called back and spoke to a manager and he said he would refund the huge tip that I left and he didn't. He sent me a gift certificate for the amount of the tip! Which is useless to me since I wouldn't give them my business if they were the last restaurant standing. And by the way. I just got out of the hospital and answered the door in pajamas. I don't think that warrants him saying I'm a crackhead. And the food was terrible. Nothing like the original Paganos that I ordered from all of the time. Stay away! Probably the best Pizza on the North Fork. Anytime we are out east in Southold on a Friday night, we make a point of ordering from Pagano's. Besides having a delicious Grandma Pie with chunks of tomato, fresh basil and mozzarella, their specialty slices are ON POINT. The Buffalo Chicken slice is loaded with shredded chicken soaked in hot sauce on a sesame seed crust. Others in our family love the Chicken Bacon Ranch slice which also is loaded with toppings and makes you crave more. The staff is friendly, but try and be there when the "A" squad is in. (We went recently when the normal pizza maker was on vacation and had to wait much longer than usual.) I cannot speak for anything beyond the pizza, as we usually cook other Italian food at home. As for prices, I would not say it is cheap, but what is cheap out on the East End? You get what you pay for, and I think Pagano's is a good value for their pizza! read more

Solid pizza by the slice (or whole pies) to go. There is limited seating but you wouldn't come for the ambience. It's your standard New York pizza but they also carry one Sicilian pizza (cheese). The Sicilian pizza is substantial and managed to be both light and crispy around the edges - one of the better Sicilian pizzas I've had recently. Service is friendly. The TV is generally tuned to sports to bide the team while you eat your pizza. read more

We had a 100$ order yesterday, tried to order tonight and their credit card machine was down. My husband and I go in there at least twice a week, and we said we could leave our card number for when the machine works, the guy on the phone was so rude and said "I don't even know you" which is BS! Went in just for a couple slices, there was only one other customer in the place, and the owner Joey was just simply rude about getting me 2 plain slices and a grandmas slice. He put the pizza in the oven and went to the back and i could clearly hear him bad mouthing the other customer and myself. Never been treated so rudely by waitstaff and owner in my life. Ordered 3 heros to go on way to ferry. After 20 minutes I asked how much longer it would be only to find out they hadn't even started making our order yet. When I asked just to get our money back because we didn't have that long to wait I was berated by the owner in front of the entire restaurant. He told me I should go to McDonalds if I wanted something quick and that I was being unreasonable for expecting our food to be ready in the timeframe they originally gave me when I placed the order. If you go here call in ahead of time or just get pizza slices that are already prepared. Otherwise you are in for a long wait for your food. read more
