I don't really have words to describe it. They only have one size pizza and, at first, I thought it was huge. However, the flavor was so amazing I kept wanting more. Hubs and I did a half and half pizza. His half was the Alms Park and my half was bacon and pineapple. I probably could have eaten a whole pizza by myself. The blend of cheeses and their sauce - so stinking good. We also got a house salad to split. Being that this was to go - they gave us the main salad in one container with their house made croutons in a separate container and their house made vinaigrette in a separate container - it keeps everything fresh and crisp! The croutons were so delicious and fresh! On top of that, the vinaigrette was amazing. We both fell in love with it. We walked in and ordered instead of placing online or calling. The service was AMAZING! We decided to wait in our car and they walked it out to us! They were amazingly friendly and wonderful. Their pizza isn't the cheapest pizza around but it was worth the money we spent. This won't be an every week visit, but definitely a new favorite. While this location is carry-out only, it was very welcoming. They also sell bottles of wine and had signs talking about them. It was a very neat little local place. I'd like to actually try their new location where we can eat in! Do yourself a favor and try this place.

So good that I requested my fiancée order next weekend! One of top 5 fave pizzerias in Cincinnati! Love them!

We were seated easily, but it was clear this place is an institution! My husband loves pizza and said this is one of the best Chicago pizzas in our area. I also couldn't believe how quickly they got it out to us. I thought it was okay, but I'm not a pizza connoisseur! Our kiddos loved making their own pizzas. They had one cheese and one pepperoni, and both had leftovers. I really liked their pizza (a thinner, traditional crust).

We arrived during the week just as they opened. The restaurant was empty with one other couple coming in before we left. The place has a decidedly Italian vibe. The server was sweet. In an effort to recreate our favorite deep dish pizza from California from Zachary's, we ordered a pizza with spinach and mushrooms. The pizza was pretty tasty. It has a good mix of fillings and the crust was not bad. It didn't compare to Zachary's, but in our search for deep dish pizza in Cincinnati, a search that's still underway, Werkhaus was OK. It's close so we'd come back, but we still have some exploring to do.

I would say most of the time for at least the last decade whenever I order pizza after two slices, I feel super bloated and I need to take a nap. That was certainly not the case when I ate fireside. This caused me to do a bit more research and I found out the big difference is and how long they let the dough, I guess, rest so the enzymes and sugars can do their work. It goes to show paying a couple of extra bucks for quality makes a huge difference in your experience. Your stomach will thank you in the long run. I had the meats pizza and the pesto sauce was also exceptional. I don't care what kind of buy one get one free deal. I can get from any other joints in Cincinnati. We ended up ordering online earlier in the day for a 6:45pm pick up and ordered a Lotta Trotta pepperoni pizza, their Lotta Trotta Hoagie with Italian dressing, and their large antipasto salad with Italian. We drove up to pick it up at the designated time and it was ready to go right away, and packaged nicely. The pizza is HUGE. We were bringing this to a family get together and the pizza was the size of two regular pieces and each slice had a generous amount of cheese and pepperoni. It was definitely a hit. The salad was a good size, definitely shareable and enough for a family. The Italian dressing seems house made, but they also gave us packets of premade caesar. The hoagie was a good size and was a good ratio of toppings to bread. It also came with a sauce option and I chose Italian for that as well. I appreciated that they boxed it was a piece of folded cardboard under it to keep the bottom from getting soggy. While you're there you can also pick up sodas, beers, snacks and other items. Overall, I think they offer a great variety of options at a competitive price in the area and are super convenient for pick up or delivery.

Upon arriving home we opened the box with such excitement and that excitement was instantly gone just by looking at this pizza. Little toppings, even less cheese, and too much sauce. We sat down to do the real test--tasting it. OMG...it literally tasted like artificial toppings, too little cheese, and very few toppings! We are highly disappointed in this $32 pizza!
