I absolutely LOVE a good food truck, especially when it comes to tacos, because some of the best…read moretacos I've ever had came from little food trucks. When I first saw this truck show up at a Marathon station near my work, I knew I had to try it out, and both my boss and my new coworker agreed to give it a shot. Definitely glad we did because we ALL enjoyed it. We went on a Thursday, and it looked like they've already accumulated a big fan base with all the people driving up for to-go orders. The menu is very simple, just tacos for $4 a piece and burritos for $11, but they make them VERY well. I decided to try a campechanos burrito (steak and chorizo) and both my boss and coworker ordered the same. They accept both cash and credit card which is very nice. They give you a pager when you order so you know when your food is ready and they get their orders out FAST. They don't have drink options, but good thing they're next to a Marathon station, so that solved that problem. Our order was done very fast and their burritos are almost enough for two meals but so tasty that you'll finish it in one. They come with a spicy red sauce and a cool avocado sauce, so it's like a yin and yang of sauces, one lights you up and the other cools you down. Both are very tasty too. Overall, for the price and quality, this truck is hard to beat. I'd highly recommend checking them out. I'll definitely bring my lady along next time.

It has been posted up in front of the Marathon gas station on old 74 for a bit now. If you were driving by you might miss it, but the buzz surrounding it was so much so, that I just had to try them out. The first time I stopped by was around 3pm on my way home and several other people were also in line. The very kind owner instantly greeted me and explained what they had that day. He took my order and they got to work. The people already waiting raved about the place and were super friendly. Everyone, including the staff, chatted and it made the wait go by quick. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the carnitas tacos. The owner had recommended just 2, but I had been accustomed to quite small tacos at other places so I got 4. Boy was he right, they were so packed full of meat that I could barely finish two! The other two made a great second meal at a later time! The corn tortillas were delicious and very authentic. Each succulent and very flavorful meat was topped with onions, cilantro and your choice of green, red, or hot sauce or all of the above. For my first time the owner recommended I try each separately with the hot sauce on the side. Also included was fresh lime and a grilled poblano pepper. Everything was amazing and I can confidently say this is the best authentic tacos I have ever had, anywhere. I cant say I have a favorite sauce because they each have sensational flavor, including the hot sauce. One try and I was hooked. I started following them on Facebook to catch certain days where they had special tacos, such as steak (which cost a tiny bit more due to the quality of the steak meat). The steak was just as amazing. They also serve breakfast. The second time I visited I did not know the extra cost until I received my order. Since it is cash only, I did not have enough. A kind person in line, who also shared the addiction to this spot, gifted me the $2 I was short. I hope to pay this forward in the future at another visit to my magical friendly neighborhood taco dealer! This isnt just great food, its an experience full of great people... who are also observing covid safety despite being outside btw.

This is a hidden gem and this will be my go to place. First of all their menu is legit - for example... Cabeza and tongue taco! Yum! Asada taco - was actually really good and flavorful compared to what I've had at other places here in Cincinnati. Pastor taco - this was really tasty, the marinade on the pastor really came through and the char of the pastor really was good when paired with the pineapple in the taco. Cabeza taco - Heck yes! I will come back here to order many cabeza tacos LOL, this was actually really good and sometimes it's really hard to get cabeza right and they do it right!

Absolutely! I went with my boss and co-worker to get some tasty tacos. Their menu is bigger than any other taco trucks I've seen so far. They do offer a few drinks but you're better off going to the Marathon station nearby. The taco trucks only accepts cash but there's an ATM inside the Marathon. I went with three tacos; one chicken, one al pastor, and one brisket. My boss also scored some chips and guac for us to split. Once you order, you get a little pager that buzzes when it's ready, and the service is very fast here. They have a few picnic tables nearby so you don't have to get it and run. The tacos were absolutely delicious and the sauces they gave made them even better. Their guac is excellent too and you can really taste the lime juice. This is a taco truck only worth checking out for sure! Next time, I'm bringing my lady for some taco time!

The salsa had a good flavor and a nice kick to it. The shrimp cocktail was interesting. A tomato sauce, onion and cilantro was with the shrimp. Also quite good! My husband devoured it. He also enjoyed the tongue and head tacos he had. As did my daughter with the chicken tacos. The tacos had lots of onions and cilantro. Yum! The chorizo burrito was delicious! Quite greasy, as chorizo tends to be, but so, so good. I will definitely stop back soon to try more of their menu.

Definitely glad we did because it was really good. This taco truck is located at a gas station across from a Casey's. It's easy to see and there some decent parking nearby. Their menu is much bigger than I anticipated and loaded with tasty options. But I had to try the tacos first, that's my litmus test for a taco truck. If a truck can't do tacos right, they likely can't do much else right. This truck, like many, is cash only, so no cards here. I ordered one steak taco, one chicken taco, and one al pastor taco. My boss ordered a red tamale, two chicken tacos, and one steak taco. We hardly waited at all before our order was up and the price was nice. The tacos were very tasty, especially with the red sauce, which packed dome heat and good flavor. My boss liked his too, especially the chicken tacos. This is an excellent taco truck and absolutely one to check out when in the Eastgate area. I'll have to introduce my lady to it sometime because I know she'll like it too.

Tin Man Grill Review…read more Tacos are among the world's most perfect food. The taco offers a culinary canvas of unlimited possibilities and incredible potential. Tacos, like pizza, can be be good even when they are bad. They can be authentic or creative but they are almost always delicious. Tin Man Grill, a food truck based in Anderson Township, is a revelation. While not authentic, you'll want to head to Tacos Locos in a parking lot in Pleasant Ridge for the best authentic tacos in town, they are unique and delicious. Tin Man Grill is no ordinary food truck. Instead of being housed in something resembling a repurposed UPS truck, Tin Man is operating out of a gorgeous refurbished 1950's era Spartan Manor camper. The shiny metal glistens in the sun, a shiny beacon summoning hungry diners. But this is not just a fancy trailer. As you approach you are tantalized by the unmistakable aroma of smoked meat. It fills the air around the silver trailer upping the anticipation. You see, Tin Man is serving delicious, fresh chicken and pork tacos smoked to perfection in dual Big Green Eggs. The results are stunning as the pulled meats are moist, flavorful, and infused with smoke. The menu is simple, but do not think that will make your decision easy. Grilled Pork Tacos. Pineapple pork tacos. Grilled strawberry chicken taco. Chicken avocado taco. And Sweet. Potato. Taco. Yes, Sweet. Potato. Taco. It's as weird and delicious as it sounds. The smoked meats and tasty potatoes are paired with delicious, fresh, house-made toppings, salsas, veggies, sauces and cheese. Everything on the taco tastes clean, fresh, and serves to add to the flavor of the taco. Despite having strong flavors like pineapple, strawberry, and cilantro the flavor of the smoked meats still stands on its own. It's evident that these recipes were carefully thought out to let every flavor work together and for each one to shine. I did not ask for any substitutions, nor would I recommend any unless of course you do not like a specific ingredient. I cannot stress how fresh and clean everything from Tin Man Grill tastes. It's also worth noting that after eating here I felt great, not like eating a cheap, greasy Taco Bell taco. This is fresh, real food. It's also worth noting that everything is prepared quickly. Often food trucks can take awhile as the foods are freshly prepared, but here the prep was fast and efficient and the result was delicious. Tin Man Grill is doing some interesting, compelling, and delicious things with the taco medium. I'd highly recommend checking them out if you enjoy tacos or just enjoy delicious food made by friendly folks, in a cool camper in a parking lot, office complex or festival near you.
