After going to a Gramma's near Eastgate and enjoying it there, I thought I'd enjoy a different location just as much... But honestly, I can't really say I did. This location is okay, but with all the pizza spots in Anderson Township, I hate to say but this is not among the best. The service is great, the atmosphere is nice, but the food could be better. I went with my work crew on a Thursday for lunch. It wasn't busy at all and there was plenty of seating. We sat ourselves and started perusing the menu. The menu is pretty big with all the usual pub grub favorites. Not a huge drink menu but they have a decent selection of beer, hard seltzers, and some wines. We started with a few appetizers; mozzarella sticks, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. We didn't wait too long before they were ready. Overall, they weren't horrible, but definitely too much breading. So much that it was tough sometimes to taste anything BUT breading. The mushrooms were probably the best though. Then we ordered a couple large traditional pizzas, one buffalo chicken and one veggie. Again, we didn't wait long until they came out. Both were good but I can't say they were great. It was the kind of pizza that if you see it at a party you MIGHT have a slice or two before moving on to something else and not going back for more. On the whole, this spot is okay, but if given the choice, I hate to say it due to the great service, this would not be one of my top choices. If anything, I'd head to the location near Eastgate, which really impressed me.i read more

This was my first time ordering a pizza and wings from Grandma's Pizza - Anderson, it was a carryout order online purchase. I was sadly disappointed in the quality of both the pizza & wings that I ordered. The pizza had lots of cheese on my pizza, which covered all of my pizza toppings, but I was still missing one topping, and it also lacked an ample amount of the other toppings. However, the worst part of the pizza was the sauce. i was expecting something homemade, but it tasted like something out of a can, with no flavor or seasoning. The crust was the best part of the pizza, it was so soft and tender. The wings were horrible as well, the sauce which is supposed to make the wings stand out, tasted like a cheap watered-down no brand name barbeque sauce. The food is reasonably priced but the quality isn't all that great. The workers were pleasant and nice. The breadsticks were kind of cold but the bread of them wasn't all that great, marinara sauce was tasty though. The pizza was okay, the sausage was gross but the crust and sauce wasn't bad. Granmma's is not at all what I was expecting. The only thing I knew about them was the sign out front. What I expected was cheap, takeout pizza. What we received was fresh dough, house shreaded cheese, and flavorful sauce. Cheese was liberally applied. Pizzas themselves were well sauced. Garlic butter on the crust made the crust taste like garlic knots. Our pizzas were still piping hot by the time they arrived home. Granmma's is a solid choice for takeout or delivery style pizza. If looking to save a few dollars, check mailers for coupons. Don't have a coupon? Mondays through Thursdays they currently have a deal on large 1 topping pizzas. read more

We have been ordering from Grammas Anderson location for some time now and the orders have gotten progressively worse. We constantly ask them to not cut the pizza and they still cut the pizza. We ask for no onions on the gyro and they put onions on it anyway. We ask for no green peppers and they still put green peppers on it. The worst is the raw dough we constantly get when we order the xl plzza and the xxl plzza. The only good service we ever got from this location was when our orders were delivered by Amy. She would check our order and correct it before delivery it to us. Anderson Grammas owner should rethink their night shift delivery and cooks. From this night forward we will go back to driving to the Withamsville Grammas. read more

Really enjoy this spot. We have only ordered takeout due to COVID but the food is always hot, orders are correct, and a nice menu selection. The hoagies are great! Pleasant staff, always follows COVID guidelines and restaurant itself looks great. Looking forward to dining in with the family someday soon. read more

SOOOO GOOD! My husband has been begging me to try Gramma's for years. For some reason I turned my nose up at it until recently. Not sure why I was so adamant about not trying it...I guess I felt like the strip mall it was in looked run down, so I assumed it would taste like cheap, day old pizza. I know, Ignorant assumption based on stupidity. A few nights ago at 2am, I woke up craving pizza. Like a little chunker, I started googling pizza places I'd never tried and reading reviews. I noticed that Gramma's had a lot of hype. The next day I ordered it. We got a medium extra cheese pizza and a steak hoagie with mushroom sauce. Both were amazing. The pizza crust tasted like soft garlic breadsticks. The amount of cheese was generous. The sauce was my favorite. It reminded me of the classic sauce served on pizza in Rome. It had that true tomato taste without being overwhelmed with lots of seasonings. The hoagie with mushroom sauce was also awesome. I can't wait to try more of their stuff. Don't be a fool like me and judge a book by its cover. You won't regret trying Gramma's. QUICK UPDATE: Tonight we ordered a large traditional pizza for family and a couple friends. It was good, but the crust was much crispier (vs the soft breadstick like crust on the medium pizza). It could have just been the bake, but still worth noting. My husband loved the crispy crust. I prefer the softer crust. Also worth mentioning, they are very generous with toppings. Our friends loved the fresh, thick mushrooms on half the pizza. The other half was onion and pineapple. I think the pineapple was too moist a topping bc it made (an otherwise yummy) pizza soggy. Lastly, we got a large chef salad. We easily shared it as a side among 4 adults and 2 kids. We really like this place. I'll update again when we get a chance to try some of the other offerings. read more

The service I received at Grammas (Anderson) tonight was the most atrocious I've ever received. Brandon Smith is the rudest, most condescending, arrogant "manager" to ever hold that title. Grammas will never get my business and I encourage everyone else to boycott this restaurant. I implore everyone to help close this business down. Trying to get food delivered to me in Anderson, only 4 miles from there store and they won't deliver because I am too far! They tell me to call the other store that is 7 miles away and of course I am way too far. Yet a few months ago the manager told me at the Andrrson location as I was picking a carryout order they would deliver to me. Very frustrating and doesn't make much since with how much restaurants are losing at this time. Looks like I won't be eating Grammas pizza for a while. read more
