In fact, the partnership between Hooverville and this place is evident in that they make special sized pizza for the bar next door. Hence, you can grab your own fresh slice from Slice Box, go outside, and then take a seat at the bar at Hooverville if you want something stronger than just beer with your slices. Stopped back in today for lunch and got a slice of the Meat Lovers pizza. With this, you get some mozzarella, Canadian bacon, sausage, pepperoni, salami and red sauce which was a great combination of delicious for the day. We were in shortly after they opened, again, and this time there were numerous pizzas ready for the taking and the service was quick and friendly. They also have a fairly broad selection of canned drinks, including some beer choices, to go with your slice. If you think the person ahead of you went in to the bathroom just because they disappeared when you weren't looking and the door is locked, jokes on you. Ask at the counter for the key - there isn't a sign saying so but they don't just let anyone use the facilities. All in all, a great second visit. Had all but given up on good pizza in Seattle. Today I was delightfully surprised with a beauty of a pizza from Slice Box. Ordered the Pep and Pine pizza, and opted for the square pizza option. Me and my wife LOVED it. Not easily impressed, we really noticed the higher quality ingredients and attention to detail put into the pies here. The cheese to sauce ratio was superb, and the pepperoni the perfect crispness and spiciness. The crust was lovely, with just the right bake. Anyone who takes pizza seriously, and everyone should, needs to check this place out. Originally from NY, and now hail from Chicago, I love pizza. This place immediately hit my top 10. They do pepperoni right, like real right. Crispy, plentiful, solid. Crust was crispy to perfection especially for a slice that was premade ( not my preferred style), I had the Sicilian, which was a bit spicy, in a good way. Last, the cheese was amazing, in a day and age where the price of mozzarella has gone up in price 3X in the last decade, these guys load it on, and then lightly dust in parmesan to boot, well played. Beers, Cider, and pizza by the slice! It's a great place to grab a nice slice of pizza. Nothing spectacular, but the chef specials add some nice variety, and the prices are good. I came after 1pm on a Friday and there was a lot me of about 6 people. It's a very small place so the line went out the door. There is very little sitting space if you are looking to sit down, and there didn't appear to be any tables for groups greater than 2 people. Nice takeout place! read more

Stopped by at 5pm, bought four different slices ($20+), had them heated, got them home (only 5 minutes away), opened the box ready to dive in, and the slices were completely inedible. Every slice was so old that the cheese was solid and orange, sauce completely dried up and gone, crust rock hard and stale. We had to throw the pizza out. Which sucks after you spend $20+. Been looking for good New York style pizza (ex New Yorker here) in the Seattle area for 4 years and finally found some. Turns out it was on 1/2 mile from where I work! It has the proper crust thickness, the right amount of grease drips out the back when you fold it to eat it. Pretty darn good slices of pizza. I tried 4 different kinds and was only really impressed with the thin crust traditional style New York pepperoni. The rest wasn't amazing but wasn't bad; tried sausage and mushroom, pesto mushroom pepperoni, square pepperoni and the traditional thin crust. If I go back I'll only get the thin crust because I'd say the rest were just good not amazing, but the pepperoni thin crust... amazing. Worth going back. Prices are reasonable for the area. This place really has the opportunity to establish itself as a Seahawks game day staple. It's just north of Tailgate Alley and hundreds of us pass it on our way into the stadium. I thought for sure this would be our new tradition and have given it three chances, but the staff is absolutely not interested in contributing to the hometown pride like other restaurants (Krispy Kreme, Blazing Bagels, etc). Today we bought a slice of pie 4 hours before the game and they wouldn't let us use the bathroom. It's $4 for a slice of pizza. What on earth are we paying for if you are making at least 90% profit on this and NOT letting us use your inside facilities. After asking why we couldn't come in and use the restrooms AFTER giving them our card, they told us "because you can't come in". Not even interested in coming back and unless this changes, will be telling everyone else in the alley to continue sending their business to the companies that embrace paying Hawks fans. I'd take this pizza over a Costco pizza any day.. and I LOVE Costco pizza but the pizza here is literally cooked to perfection, I even like eating the crust. The pepperoni pizza does not disappoint and it's not over powering. It's a really great quick fix for pizza cravings and it's cheap! They also provide the necessary condiments and I'm sure they have ranch if you like to dip your pizza. But like I said it's unnecessary because the pizza is great as is.
