Most shops are closed by 5pm or 7pm so I definitely recommend stopping by early in the day if you can. However, Nickels Arcade is still perfect to stroll by in the evening as well. I wanted to visit Bon Bon, a local chocolate shoppe, but unfortunately they were closed by the time I made it during my most recent visit. I loved that they offered a menu outside so I could still look at what they offered. Another shop I'd like to stop at during my next visit is Comet Coffee. I am always interested in finding new coffee spots and the window art on Comet's window was so inviting! Other shops in the alley include a barbershop, tobacco shop, and various antique shops. Spend an hour strolling through the shops. You won't regret it!

We ended up buying a Michigan made felted wool cat toy that looked like a mouse. Super cute and durable. The employee ringing us up was very friendly and nice and told us about the cat toy, which was cool. I always appreciate a kind interaction at places like this. I think this would be a great place to shop for someone who's "hard to buy for" since there are so many different types of gifts and products at the Caravan Gift Shop. The store also has non-Zingerman's brand candies, such as Venchi, which is also a high-end brand. The shop doubles as a coffee shop, as well, and I think may have also had some small food items, but don't quote me on that. Overall, I would return the next time I'm in town.

I finally get the knots out of the belt ...then to notice another set of Japanese style bondage type tied knots inside robe on the interior inside tie ,Thats keeps robe closed snug ..This and all the robes each took me almost 2 HOURS !!!! To get set free...We are so furious and disappointed.. One for them putting theses knots in there in the first place ,And second ruining my night of play and dress up.These robes were over $170 dollars for all three.But the pain of disecting those knots was ridiculous. I will be forwarding this complaint to corporate..If they are putting the knots , They should remove them before you purchase!! It was definitely the best matcha I've ever had, and it makes sense that it would be more expensive compared to other places' matcha which tastes watered down in comparison. They even have a kid-friendly tufting tool so little ones can make their own mini rugs! Chris was a fantastic instructor, patient, encouraging, and great at guiding us through the tutorials and bracelet-making while making sure our rugs turned out perfectly. He even finished them off with backing and glue for us. My child tufted a 12x12 rug in under an hour and loved every minute of it (no complaints at all!). Today I visited The Diamond Factory of Ann Arbor inside of Briarwood Mall. The store had a sign…read moreoutside claiming "WE BUY GOLD & Diamonds Highest Price Paid Guaranteed" which led me to believe that I would be presented with a fair and reasonable offer for my 2+ gram, 14K white gold engagement ring with two small side diamonds. A 2 gram 14K white gold melt value is $99. The spot price of gold is currently $2,633.53/ounce as of 12/7/24. The manager (supposedly named Victor) and his sales associate (Rafi) offered me only $56 for the ring, despite me already having a prior offer for $250. Victor (real name apparently Vicken Tufenkjian according to public state filings) even claimed that the store didn't have an owner when confronted about his false and misleading sign. Victor also refused to tell me his full name when I told him that I was going to file a complaint. At one point he even tried to falsely claim that my ring wasn't actually gold. To make matters worse, when I returned to the store and explained to Victor that other jewelers inside of Briarwood quoted my ring at around $400, he called the mall police to try to intimidate me instead of addressing my concerns professionally. Five allied security guards along with an Ann Arbor police officer were unnecessarily called on me. I left the store and immediately filed a complaint with the FTC. This experience was extremely frustrating, inconvenient, and disturbing. Please steer clear of this store and go somewhere where you will be treated fairly. PS: if you have bought any jewelry at this store in the past I would strongly suggest that you have it checked for authenticity by another jeweler.
