The selection is great and they always have new stuff coming in, many of which are new with tags. Be sure to set aside at least an hour to browse through all the clothing, shoes, and accessories they have. The upstairs has the sale racks and the markdowns can be massive especially for end of the season clothes. I scored a new with tags lined leather black skirt for $8 and a pair of white NYDJ jeans for $12. I've never left empty handed. I don't live in Michigan anymore but my mom does so every time I'm in town this is a must visit!

UPDATE: I went in at 5:45 not realizing that they closed at 6:00 (yeah, I was even on the business listing with all their info but didn't process that beforehand) but they (two guys, "Joe" & an older gentleman) gave me 100% of their attention, mainly because I was the only customer in there. Joe looked over my silver bars & rounds, weighed them & re-weighed them. Then weighed them again just to triple-check. This made me nervous because ODD numbers remind me of my darkest days when the ODDS were stacked against me, and all I wanted to do was to get even, get even, get even. Then he weighed my silver once more, for an even four times. Unbelievably, the fourth time the flaccid sack of silver was TWO OUNCES HEAVIER! Upon seeing this, I began to hyperventilate...then the air was getting thinner...the only thought on my mind was heating up dinner...the suspense was making me sick, I pulled my inhaler out to do the trick...but I fainted for just a second it seemed. Suddenly, a homeless guy was pulling my leg...just like I'm doing to you now! 14K asked me what I was trying to get, I gave him a number and he agreed with me. ID in the "system," sign here & here, right thumbprint there, and the cash go here. 12 minutes, in & out, and right at closing time, no less. The guys were friendly & convivial, casual yet professional & honest, they paid me the exact amount agreed upon I would recommend 14k Gold & Coin to cash out your silver bullion. I wouldn't recommend coming in right at closing time, but if you had to I think they would accommodate you. I stand by the initial blind 5-star review that I began with, as they have earned it when judged by all sensible metrics. I've been here before when it was across the street in the smaller location, several years ago, maybe a decade ago. This new location is very well-lit with an easily traversable sidewalk and parking lot out front. Inside is bright, airy, clean, and organized. Unbeknownst to me was that the jacket was missing the main zipper. Yes... the jacket had absolutely NO zipper with which to close out the cold. We discovered this only after I returned home & my 14yo son tried it on. I tried to return asking just for store credit. The store rep - Abby informed me they would not take back the jacket as it was marked "clearance". And that because their buyer "made a mistake" they marked it clearance (30% off original price). When I emphasized that I only wanted store credit and that I would gladly choose something else for my son. I suggested that if they were passing a "mistake" onto a customer, that they should do so with transparency and clearly mark the tag with a note indicating the items flaw, e.g. write "missing main zipper" on tag. Otherwise, I suggested, the omission smacks of deceit and is unethical. She seemed unconcerned. Abby & other employees said with a laugh, "we don't even know how to do that". Meaning they don't know how to do a store exchange. I couldn't help but notice an air of smugness when she said this. Abby was quite bodacious and loud as she exclaimed a refusal in front numerous customers. I felt humiliated and defeated. So they refused to accept the jacket back. Adding insult to injury, Abby offered to take the jacket and donate it! I am a seasoned shopper and loyal customer of Platos. We've purchased clothing for all 3 of my now teen kids for the past several years over the course of numerous growth spurts including a current growth spurt my 14 yo is now experiencing! I don't appreciate the disrespect nor the blatant disregard on full display for other customers to witness and perhaps intended as showcase. I'll simply have to take my business elsewhere. Luckily, there are numerous options for used clothing.
