All questions were answered with one syllable words. Finally, with the lack of information, I was still able to choose two pairs of shoes. When the young man came back with the shoes, he dropped both pairs on my seven-year-old grandson's lap and walked away. The lack of customer service and consideration was mind-boggling. We're from California and I've been to many Dick's Sporting Goods, but never have I had the rudeness and disrespect that I experienced at this store. On top of that they had very few choices of soccer shoes for young male children. Needless to say, I won't be back to that location.

I decided to check out this Dunham's location to see what kind of bowling equipment they might have. Upon entering the store, you feel sort of overwhelmed and that feeling doesn't go away anytime soon. It's like there was no thought to the layout of the interior and it's merchandise. I really think they crammed way too much stock into the floor space they had available when the store was built. I asked one of the store workers where the bowling equipment was at, and he told me it's over by the fishing gear. So after looking around the store for 15 minutes, I asked another worker where the bowling section was, and she told me that they don't carry bowling equipment in their store, but if I wanted to checkout the Web site, I could find what I wanted online. Apparently, the workers have no idea what they have inside their own store when it comes to merchandise. Now if your looking for a great deal on University of Michigan swag and shirts they have it. Sadly, there's a small Michigan State athletic wear section just behind it. In all honesty the prices aren't bad at all. With that being said, they had only one cashier on duty, and several people standing in line. Customer service is clearly a low priority at this store location.

On the tag she printed out, it indicated it was a "Special Item" and "No Returns". I never even saw this until I brought it home. I was never told, (or shown) this item was non-returnable prior to purchasing it, and looking back I could tell the 2 workers knew they were doing something shady, and deceptive at the time. What kind of business does this??? In addition, the other item I purchased was priced at $100, but rung up for $110. I don't know what the deal with this store is, as I've never had issues with any other locations. I would say definitely buyer beware, and use caution if you do choose to shop here. Moosejaw arranges the shipping with Fedex and provides tracking numbers via email. I track the delivery via Fedex which states that the snowboard was delivered. I never received the snowboard. I inform Moosejaw. The gloves arrive separately on a different day under a different shipping number (which were randomly left outside on the street) Scout from Moosejaw responds that they will contact Fedex. Fedex tells Scout they delivered the item. The proof of delivery simply states that the item was delivered, but contains no details. No signature, no name, no helpful information whatsoever. I was NEVER offered a choice of having the signature required or not. Moosejaw made that choice. Scout and Kathleen from Moosejaw were extremely unhelpful and literally did nothing to help resolve the matter.

The lady (with zero personality) waiting on my daughter in law told her that she would have to get the racket restrung and pay for the stringing. The strings came loose because the knots were not holding. It is unfortunate that what could be a good shop has such lousy customer service and they don't stand behind their work. AVOID THIS SHOP IF YOU CAN!

In the 1990s Steve and Barry's, MDen, Michigan Book & Supply, and Ulrich's were arguably the four most prevalent retailers selling branded college gear on campus, the latter two being mainly textbook stores, and S&B being the more college-kid-affordable type of spot that occupied part of the current MDen State Street location. Back then Elmo's Printing was still running out of a residential house south of Packard, and Underground Printing was still an idea waiting to be born. Around early 2000s, when S&B went bankrupt, MDen expanded and took over their retail space, as well as some of their market share, introducing over time their own basic and trendy apparel collections and collaborations with other brands (outside of traditional players like Nike, such as more recent Lululemon and Tommy Bahama collabs). Nowadays MDen is the go-to school spirit shop that carries everything from UofM stickers to lawn and Christmas ornaments, college graduation caps and gowns, sports jerseys, wall decor, bumper stickers, bobble heads, and all types of men's and women's apparel and accessories.
