It was my first time bringing my rifle the lady at the counter and asked me what type of caliber I was shooting and what kind of ammo I said 5.56 green tip she notified me that the green tips were not allowed on the range so I purchased non-green tip 556 round from them and I proceeded to go to the pistol range after I was done at the pistol range I went to the counter and the lady requested I give her my green tip rounds as I was pulling my ammo out of the bag to give to her the manager, Gary Allen was very rude and was harassing me as I was giving it to her so I requested my money back on the ammo. This place is not friendly at all. I do not recommend spending your money here. I would take it to somewhere else like Center Mass in Livonia where they're friendly and they treat you like family. I don't know what's wrong with that guy that day, but that was very disrespectful and I will be taking my money elsewhere again stay away from this place. They are very unprofessional. The difference between Uncoiled and other ranges is that these guys are down to earth and really enjoy answering questions about firearms, suppressors and accessories. There is no secret squirrel bullshit. They are looking to help beginners and experts alike, to achieve their build, training and safety objectives. They will proactively approach you, and they offer tremendous insight to help you achieve your goals. The process to purchase a suppressor was surprisingly easy. My very first one took about 30 days for approval. The next two took only three days, and that was over a holiday weekend. I honestly could not believe it. Uncoiled's team steered me toward the perfect first device. A Rugged Obsidian 9 for a 9mm PCC. I liked it so much I bought a new pistol to go with the can. I needed a piston and they had it from Rugged in 3 days. The whole system works perfect. Next was a special fit EchoCore suppressor for a very short barrel .556 PDW. I worked with Hayden on this project. Can't believe how well it functions. Complete game changer. Now I'm a member at the range and I even take my two young sons along. The website literally says "Well behaved kids always shoot for free with a parent". I love this range, and I'm always asking questions and shopping for the next cool gadget. Trevor, Ayden, Hayden, Shane... the whole team of guys and girls. Just yesterday Anthony was on the floor showing my son a P322 and helping me figure out a Trijicon Optic solution... He's the GM! They are real professionals. I always tell them the reason I love Uncoiled is for the INSIGHT they provide. You can't put a price on it. Thanks guys!

If Patrick is available you'll be with the best employee they have. They have a huge parking lot and that inside is full of all your gun needs. "Knowing nothing about guns, I was gifted my father's favorite hand gun when he passed away knowing that "it needed parts". I was recommended to Center Mass and met Patrick as soon as I walked in. He helped me put the parts we had back together and researched what part was missing. He thoroughly explained how it would still work without it but also the consequences of not getting a new one. Unfortunately, there were no parts available online - anywhere - for such an old German gun but he helped me figure out how I could make one myself. After all that work and effort he put into the gun and me, he didn't charge me a thing. Being clueless about guns, they all made me feel comfortable and treated me well. I would highly recommend them (and Patrick)!" Give them your business and you'll be glad you did.

Lamont Patton is the instructor for the course and is a highly professional, charismatic instructor that makes the class a pleasure to take. I received this as a gift off of Groupon so I was a little unsure of what to expect being in Romulus with the building having a rough outside decor. The building is a little hard to find and make sure it is the one that is just north of I-94 as GPS has difficulty locating the correct address. Aside from the shabby building the class was a real joy to take. You first start in the classroom going over shooting technique, then head over to the range location at The Firing Line shooting range. After testing your pistol proficiency at the range you head back for more lecture time in the classroom and take the certification exam. I would highly recommend this to anyone, lady or gentlemen, as Lamont cultivates a highly inclusive class envirnoment.

He's eager for your questions, answering them through realistic hypotheticals that meaningfully flesh out the extensive grey areas of topics as much as possible. At the range, after we completed the requisite tasks needed for the certification, he then put us through drills specific to our observed areas of opportunity--the person to my right had half his target taped off to represent a threat partially obscured, while I was walked through several grip changes that immediately corrected my tendency to pull toward the left. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that can make an 8-hour class on rules and safety more enjoyable than this instructor.

I'm not big on running outdoors so I cleaned up the basement and began my research on treadmills. Eventually I found a good, mid priced folding treadmill (Sole F80) that they carry at Dick's and waited patiently for one to come in stock somewhere in my area (treadmills are understandably hard to come by these days!). You can set it up to be notified if one comes in stock at a set location. It I was open to picking up anywhere in the Metro so I just checked every morning on their website. Eventually after a week, one ended up at this location in Canton and I made the purchase! It wasn't available for delivery but curbside pick up was an option. After some measuring I realized our Escape was not big enough for this but luckily my aunt's SUV could make it work. So we headed over together to make the pick up. Curbside is easy--pull up, call them to let them know you're here. They check your ID and purchase email with a large item like this. Then two dudes came out and, after much hard labor, got this massive box into our car. So major snaps for the heavy lifting they have to do on the regular for purchases like these! On our way home I started to sweat thinking about getting it into OUR house alone, and wished they had offered the delivery/assembly option, but luckily with the help of family (and our unsuspecting neighbor who got roped in by being in the wrong place at the wrong time!) we got it down stairs. Putting it together was super easy and I was able to do it alone. I still wish they offered assistance tho, I was so worried someone would get hurt moving this 300lb beast down the stairs! But that's the only criticism I have about the experience. In the end the treadmill is great. It's a fantastic build and Dick's had it at the manufacturer's price. No additional fees for curbside pick up either. I got two weeks of getting back to shape on it before twisting my ankle walking to my car today, haha! But I look forward to getting back on it as soon as I'm healed. Highly recommend purchasing an equipment piece from Dick's. But make sure you can accommodate pick up and moving should delivery not be available in your area.
