The chairs were loose in the boxes and has minimal protective packaging. One of the chairs arrived damaged and I had to return it via Fed Ex. Again the made in Turkey chairs are great. I was at Legacy Place this week and decided to check out this new furniture store, just to see what…read moreit was like and browse some new chairs and sofas. I was really impressed with the level of customer service! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Kara-Beth, who explained the store and the concept to me. It is owned by the same company that owns Wayfair and all the furniture in the store can be delivered to you in a matter of days. Some selections arrive as whole pieces, some are self assembly a la IKEA and you can also request a service that they have in partnership with Angie's (formerly Angie's List) where you can request assembly at the time of delivery. They have a nice selection of mostly mid-century looking and some more modern pieces including a lot of chairs and a few sofas. The pieces are definitely a step up from IKEA in appearance, but not as nice as West Elm, IMO. Most of the chairs I was eyeing are in the $300-$400 range and they had a sale going at the time I visited where there was an extra 15% off. What really impressed me more than the furniture was the thoughtful and personalized service. When I explained where I was looking to set up the chairs I was considering, Kara-Beth explained that it might be wise to consider swivel chairs so that people sitting side by side could orientate to themselves to face each other more comfortably during conversations. I never would have thought to consider it! What a great suggestion. I will definitely consider this store for future furniture purchases and it's so nice to know they can deliver quickly as we had to wait quite a long time to get a sofa from West Elm during peak COVID times.

I bought a dining room set for over $2,000. I had the one year warranty. After about 9 months or so…read moreone of the arms on the arm chairs started to fall off. The screws completely fell out. This happened right at the hight of the Covid 19 outbreak. Massachusetts completely shut down and during that time my warranty expired. I was tried to file a claim now and they said that they were not extending warranties since their customer service line were still taking claims, but waiting to fill them once they had reopened. How was I supposed to know that? I assumed that Bob's was completely closed. I mean they couldn't go into anyone's home so why would their customer service line be on. Eventually, after 2 hours of waiting I had to pay $80 to pay for a tech to come out. And they tried to give me mystery prices for the cost of any parts that might be needed. I pushed them on it though and was able to get the prices. I didn't want to pay $80 just for them to say that I need new arms that cost $100. I might as well get a whole new chair. They're customer service is terrible. I had to call 4 different times each call 1hr or longer to get someone to help me. And their warranty is a total scam. During a pandemic they should be extending them or freezing them or something. I've bought a lot of furniture from them over the years, but I won't be purchasing anything from them in the future. I do not reccomend!

They are not well educated or if educated they want to tell you what to get , lol. So you can't win . They are either ghetto the sales people meaning little education and you want to run for the hills or make the sale end fast . Or the sales people are educated and think they are too good to be working at bobs or that they know better than you . So with the sales people at bobs you can't win . However prices are cheap . That's the only reason I come here . Otherwise I would not . I recommend the prices only , lol. Customer service here is also horrendous.

I felt kind of guilty for seeking this place out (a friend who lives nearby recommended it) in the…read morefirst place, since I've been trying to economize lately. And having read some of the earlier reviews, I was prepared for this place to sell $200 scarves and candles. That being said, Nest does indeed sell high-end merch like jewelry. It would not be out of place in the South End. The walls were full of art from a local photographer that was amazing, but I don't have $325 to drop on a 24 x 8 inch panel right now. It's definitely one of the best-smelling stores I have ever been to, but the most expensive candle was $48, not two bills. However, there was a pretty sizeable selection of "reasonably priced" items, like $24 scarves, wine racks on sale, little foodstuff items, hair accessories. I ended up picking up two $12 leather-and-studded headbands which were cool. It's definitely the kind of place where you're either shopping for yourself or a woman whose taste you know really, really well. Because you're dealing with a home store with an independently-curated selection of stuff, the gifts aren't safely generic like Pottery Barn or Williams-Sonoma--I hope that makes sense. I really have a bias against indifferent customer service. So the only serious ding was that the woman behind the counter basically did not acknowledge or speak to me until I asked if I could put the headbands at the register while I shopped some more--she was sweet as could be and chatty after that. There was only one other customer in the store, who also got ignored until she made a purchase. I don't like feeling like I have to pay to get a hello out of someone. But I'll definitely be back again sometime the next time I'm in the nabe.

However, more people should find this hidden gem..!! From shabby and fun home decor to funky rugs, jewelry, candles and bags, they've got a nice mix of hip designers and styles. It's similar to the store Anthropology, however less pricey and not a chain or large business. I was just there today and purchased a fabulous Angela Adams rug, full of textures, moss greens, rich browns and honeys. This great little store is sure to inspire whether it be home or self..
