Really great experience at SB. A cool and comfortable atmosphere greeted us when we arrived. The wait staff members were attentive and our most amiable server (who doubled as a mixologist) prepared for us some nice cocktails. Everything we ate was delicious. My steak was served just the way I ordered it and was accompanied by an outstanding side of fries with a tasty harissa dip. Desserts were also quite good--my favorite being the mandarine orange panna cotta.

Lovely local French restaurant with polite staff. Wine and spirit selection is great with many to choose from. The Pâté Maison was very good. Complementary bread and bite sized almond cake after dessert is highly appreciated. Recommend for anyone craving French cuisine or fine dining experience in Doylestown.

Outstanding restaurant My husband and I went in late August for our first time. We sat at the bar and were quickly in love with the place after meeting the bartender, Jeremy! He's a true mixologist and he takes his drinks seriously. I ordered the grapefruit martini and my husband ordered a pear martini! Both were excellent! Mine was served with a spoon! We shared the fish soup and a salad. They came separately, which was nice as we could thoroughly enjoy them! I ordered the Bronzino and he ordered the strip steak au poivre! Both were spectacular! This is a must try if you are looking for a great restaurant in Doylestown

Stopped by here randomly and we were so pleasantly surprised. French food that actually is done in a French style!! Service was very good, server was well versed on the dishes and the specials. Music nice, bar tender was making his drinks very well. Place was nice and clean and the seats comfortable. Good menu selection too! Baked Oysters to start, very good! My husband and I both had fish, cooked to perfection! The Ginger soufflé although looked impressive wasn't to our taste but everything else was excellent! Already planning our next visit!

Sisao is conveniently located by one of the finest wine stores in the area. The really good stuff is in the side room and I mean incredible offerings. Dinner started with a potage of mushroom with shavings of dark truffle which I wanted to dive into. Followed by lamb chops, succulent and crispy. Cooked with passion. I wish I had taken pictures!! Bananas Foster was the classic ending to a marvelous and savory meal.

Let me tell you - Chef Brian did not disappoint with his three-course price fixed dinner. There is SO much to pick from, it was near impossible to choose. What was even more amazing is you can do the standard size dish or a smaller version depending on how hungry you are. And no, it's not lunch prices and sizes. It's genius for a multi-course meal. The highlights from our meal- - The staff: seriously. Shout out to them. So welcoming from the start. Never rushed us. Asked us if we needed a break before jumping in to dessert. Attentive without being overbearing. A difficult balance they executed flawlessly. - Sea scallops with black truffle risotto: sensational. I would have licked my bowl if that was acceptable - Squid puttanesca: it's a fine line between undercooked squid til it turns rubbery, and this was an exceptional cook. - Pork tenderloin: flavorful and so moist - Rack of lamb with leeks: a jus you never knew you needed. - Bread pudding: unsung hero of the desserts. Amazing. And simple berries and vanilla ice cream? There's nothing simple about it. Shout out to Chef Brian and Sisao. We cannot wait to come back. (Note: to the diners - Cash, check or Venmo so you come prepared.)

It's also BYOB, which makes it even better -- bring your favorite bottle and make a whole night out of it. They opened in September 2019 -- just six months before the pandemic -- which makes what they've built even more impressive. It's truly family-driven. The husband, Manuel (from Spain), is the head chef, and you can absolutely taste the care and authenticity in every dish. Cindy, who is from Panama, brings so much heart to the restaurant as well. We started with Prince Edward Island oysters and the crab salad, which had crispy bacon pieces for a great touch of texture and the crab was incredibly fresh -- such a perfect balance of flavors and crunch. For entrées, the beef bourguignon was rich, comforting, and everything you'd hope for from a classic French dish. The Dover sole felt elegant and perfectly executed. We ended with the chocolate mousse, which was light, decadent, and the perfect sweet finish. And I have to mention our server -- Delroy was fabulous. Attentive, personable, and so knowledgeable. He truly elevated the entire experience. Between the ambiance, the hospitality, and the beautifully prepared food, La Provence is absolutely somewhere I'll be coming back to for an elevated night out.

My husband, who has been to Paris and is very particular about his escargot, said it was the closest he has ever had to the real thing. That alone says a lot. Every bite felt thoughtful and elevated. For our mains, we ordered the coq au vin and duck frites, and both were outstanding. The sauces were rich and balanced, and the meats were cooked perfectly. Dessert sealed the deal with crème brûlée and pot de crème. The crème brûlée, especially, was a masterpiece. Beyond the food, the restaurant itself is small and charming with a cozy, intimate feel. The staff were warm and attentive and made the whole experience even better. This place deserves way more hype than it gets. If you are anywhere near Haddonfield, do not miss it.

Let's be honest--I come here for one reason: the soufflés. They are my kryptonite. Sweet or savory, they never disappoint. I've had the chocolate (rich, decadent, flawless), though I'm still chasing my ultimate favorite--the elusive Grand Marnier soufflé. One day... Beyond that: * Mussels + champagne = always a win * Service is warm and welcoming * Prices feel fair for the quality and experience This place has become part of my ritual when I'm in the area. They paid their bill and we thought they'd move off but they stayed talking and drinking loudly for more than half an hour with no attempt made to move them on even though the staff knew they were causing problems for everyone else there. it was the inaction more than anything that bothered me.
