Just an update on Slackwater. It's one of my favorite spots. I have never had a problem getting a table in the two occasions I have gone for lunch. They are often very busy for dinner, so take advantage of the wait list option on yelp if you can. It's a fun environment on the noisier side, so I wouldn't suggest coming here for a quiet meal. Their stuffed sticks are my absolute favorite, and their ranch can't be beat. I don't usually eat meat pizzas, but I love their meat pizza, and their Hawaiian as well. If you're into beer, they have an extensive selection. Service has always been great here as well. You can't go wrong with Slackwater. Don't sleep on it. read more

Awesome service! We came at around 3PM, so not too busy. We ordered the most popular pizza, buffalo wings, and a salad. Everything came out pretty quickly. We only waited for our server to come to us to take our order. The buffalo wings were too saucy for my preference but the flavor is still good. The pizza was refreshing. I did expect that because of all the veggies and avocado used as topping. Decent crust size; not too thin and not too fat and a good mild crunch. Tried to order their seasonal drink but they didn't have it in stock. Would revisit. read more

Great pizza! Corn ribs are a must have. Sill Utah drinking laws but everything about this place is great. Amazing beer selection.

Slackwater pizza is delicious and always made fresh to order. My favorites are the California Sunrise and Iron Horse. You have to try the California Sunrise. The green goddess dressing paired with fresh avocado makes this such a tasty, fresh and unique pizza (in a good way)! My only complaint about this place is that they can get very busy and crowded. I went on a Thursday at 5 pm once and the entire restaurant was pretty much busy. Thought we were early, but apparently not! I recommend using the Yelp waitlist to cut back on your wait time for busy nights. read more

Always great beer and pizza! Love the servers and staff here. They always take wonderful care of us. Many of them now know us by name!!

We've been coming here. Every Sunday spending $400 a week for over five years Sandy We waited 40 minutes when there was no one here they wouldn't see this until our party of eight came. There's always a party of a party of seven every week. I asked three times they were rude and said no I asked for the they said no we could've had drinks and party was helping someone fix a flat tire no matter what we said they would not three of us. Sorry to say but a super regular will never come back ever. read more

Sundays have live music and we got to hear Kaleb Harris - he has a great voice! The service was really excellent and there were a lot of staff on hand. I joined the queue on Yelp and that helped us (party of 6) get seated pretty quickly. I enjoyed the July special of corn quartered, broiled and served elote style. The pizzas and salads were fresh and creative. This place has an awesome vibe read more

So delicious. Lived the monthly special beignets. Long wait but n the end it was worth it. Great service. Our server was fantastic.

This place was POPPING on a Saturday night. We joined their Yelp waitlist around 5pm and it was an estimated wait of 55-85 minutes. We got there around 6:15, got checked in with the host, and were seated about 10 minutes later. I would highly recommend joining the waitlist, especially on a weekend night. We thought we were beating the crowd at 5pm, but we were totally wrong! The beer list here is HUGE! And they had two non alcoholic beers on the menu as well. Such a great selection of beers and ciders. We ordered the garlic bread and two pizzas. Each pizza is a personal size pizza, so I would recommend getting a couple to share for a party of 2. The garlic bread was good, but ours had some pieces that were a little bit burnt. It came with some freshly roasted garlic and a Gorgonzola/tomato spread. The pizzas were both great and had a ton of flavor - and the dough was delicious! This is a fun spot that's very popular, with a ton of seating and plenty of room for large parties. We will definitely be back! read more

My family and I love this place! The pizza is awesome, and the crust is very thin. I would strongly suggest the cob web salad with chicken and CARDIAC ARREST pizza. As good as the food is the service is even better! All outside seating is fun. read more

This place was packed--and still, the service was top-notch. We didn't have to wait long, and the staff was super friendly and attentive the whole time. The pizzas? Absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and way better than your average spot. On top of that, they've got a great selection of beer to pair with your meal. We had an awesome time and left completely satisfied. I'll definitely be going back again... hopefully very soon! read more

There are many options and they have one of the best beer menu in town. Music is a bit loud but I like it.

Don't even think about it just go, get the hot honey DP and thank me later 5 stars 10/10 yes just yes

Seriously one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Which says a lot because my grandparents owned a pizza parlor until I was 8. The crust tastes like it's homemade and is absolutely delicious!! Great beer options and our waitress was friendly. Would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again. read more

Love that there is a waitlist for this restaurant! I've been here multiple times for lunch and recently went during dinner. Still very busy and great service. The appetizers and food came out in a timely manner. We love the following pizzas: tikka masala, iron horse, taste like burning and hot honey dip. We tried some wings - it was a ghost pepper honey flavor and they were really good!! Great options for everyone! read more

This place is always packed. We'll worth the wait. Food delicious. Just try anything you won't be disappointed. Try coming on a Friday night for the live music read more

When we arrived the parking lot was packed and we barely fit through the doors or the building, but we were still sat immediately. I was anticipating at least a 30 minute wait. (Just two of us and we came on a Sunday night) I got the gluten free grape and gorgeous pizza. It was very delicious, I loved the combination of flavors, my only hold back was that the crust was very dry at the top of the pizza, I think if they would have gone up higher with the toppings or even drizzled more sauce there it would have been okay. I still ate all of it and enjoyed it. The ambiance was great, I love the low lit vibe it makes the space more calming even when it's busy. There was live music that added to a great ambiance. I would give this review 4.8 stars if I could. read more

Reviews mmmm experience well, came for brunch. Maybe, my first issue. All our food was cold, pizza, eggs, hot sandwich. The manger did come over and took care of part of the bill thx. We wanted our meals remade. Happy to pay; So disappointed. We tired looking past the temp of the food. It was a 2 ! We sat there for another 30 mins waiting for the check. Wow ! Easily fixed. The staff is amazing here, very friendly and they make sure you are taken care of. Disappointing that they no longer carry 1 or 2 ambers on draft and the selection of ambers in the cans are lacking as well. Not everyone wants a lager or ipa on draft. read more

What's not to like about great pizza and tons of beer options! I like to try the seasonal thing too since we go kind of a lot :)

The pizza is amazing. The dry rubbed wings are crispy and delicious. If I lived near Salt Lake, I would frequent this place often! read more

They have some real delicious food here! The nachos are amazing, and HUGE. Their mozzarella cheese bread is so good. Watch out for the diablo cheese bread though, the waitress said it was only a tiny bit hot (and I'm someone who adds hot sauce to spicy things) and it was pretty intense. We got a bunch of pizzas; gyro, hot honey, tikka masala, one or two others I can't remember, and they were all so delicious. Their gluten free crust is fantastic as well! I wish they had one in California! read more

totally my fault that I made a reservation at the wrong slackwater however they didnt make any accommodations so we had to wait an extra hour to be seated. staff was super friendly. I love how there are live singers really nice vibes. I LOVE their nachos, you must get it! I feel like their pizzas are mid. I heard alot of good things about this place but their pizza is not worth an hour wait. I would come back for the nachos tho read more

Food here is amazing! Especially such a blessing to those who must have DF and GF. GF crust is surprisingly one of the best I have had!

Great vibes. Great pizza. Better beer. Service is amazing as well. Couldn't recommend this place enough

First thing we noticed was a packed parking lot on a Tuesday evening, maybe 100 cars - good sign and a small 17 minute wait. Pizzas are unique and each serves about one person. We had the Tikkachu and the Picky Pan which comes with 3 toppings. We finished our meal with the Strawberry Beignets - amazing! Visit if you are in the area. The food is reasonably priced. This is a happening place with friendly staff. read more

We came here in a Wednesday night and it was packed. (30+ minute wait) The feel is kind of a sporty high end brew pub. It could easily have been placed in park city in my mind. The night we were there they were handing out KUHL swag if you bought a Melvin beer. Super fun place to come visit. Our nachos were good but over broiled and burnt. The pizza dough is amazing and cooked perfectly. The toppings were just ok except for the Italian sausage... that was great. I will just build my own pizza next time I come. Just funny and bland combinations all around. read more

Our visit to Slackwater Sandy's was one of the most embarrassing and unprofessional restaurant experiences I've ever had. We walked in as a party of five and were crammed into a table way too small. We tried to make it work. Our waitress came by almost immediately and asked for drinks and appetizers before we even had a chance to open the menu. When she came back and we still weren't ready -- we were mid-conversation -- she clearly became annoyed and told us to just "put our menus on the edge of the table" when we finally decided. Uncalled for, but we moved on. We eventually ordered, but about an hour into our visit, a second woman -- a manager, I assume -- suddenly came out and confronted us. She asked if we had "been spoken to by previous managers." We were confused until she informed one of our party that he was being "86'd." No explanation, no warning -- just aggressive energy. When he calmly asked for a reason, she couldn't give one. He explained that during his last visit, a busboy snatched food out of his daughter's hand -- a completely inappropriate move that anyone would be upset about. Rather than listening or showing an ounce of professionalism, she started shaking, raised her voice, and demanded we leave. We hadn't even received all of our food, yet they brought the full bill. No offer to box up what hadn't arrived. No items removed. No apology. Just blatant hostility. We walked out with two children crying from hunger and embarrassment. This restaurant humiliated our family and made zero effort to de-escalate or act like professionals. Breweries are everywhere. Slackwater offers nothing special in terms of food, service, or atmosphere -- unless you're into public humiliation and hostility. We're locals and will be warning others to stay far away. Thanks for the warm welcome to Utah, Slackwater. read more

This place is always busy. They have an online waitlist you can join which really helps. The food is delicious. Everything I have ordered here, I've enjoyed. Some of the pizza options are unique but so good. I've never ordered something I haven't liked. It is pretty loud in the restaurant so it can be very hard to talk and hear people. One of the times I was here, they had a girl sing and play the guitar but it was so hard to hear her because it was noisy. She honestly just added to the noise. read more
