Absolutely terrible service. I was ordering from this store late night and the noddles were completely crusted. I'm like okay it's late at night all good. I come back about a week later saying hey by the way last time I ordered I had received some food that was not up to your typical standards. Not asking for anything or any refund nothing. I immediately am accused of trying to scheme the place. I payed for my food and left it on the table. If you want skyline go to Cincinnati where customer service and food quality is how it's supposed to be. Terrible location do not recommend. read more

Had lunch with a friend at Skyline Chili today on East 82nd Street. It's been a while since I've gone there. To begin with our waitress was excellent - I'm sorry I didn't get her name. She delivered our food in a timely manner, checked in on us several times as we dined and offered refills on our beverages. As for the food, it was just as I remembered - very tasty. I had a regular 3 way with a skyline coney dog and my friend had the large 5 way. I'll have to make a point to return sooner. read more

Found this Cincinnati favorite here in Indy. Located in a strip mall midway between the mall and I-69, this little restaurant was a great lunch spot. Plenty of tables inside and quick service. The main dish is a 3-way. It's a local thing being a plate of spaghetti covered with chili and cheese. There are two additional toppings (onions and ???) you can add making it a 4-way or 5-way. It comes with soup crackers to soak up some of the chili juices. A highly recommended change of pace for lunch or dinner. They also serve chili dogs, chilitos and salads. For me a side Greek salad and a small 5-way hits the spot. Funnel cake fries for dessert are good, too. I believe this location is about the last one heading west. It's not the most convenient interstate meal option but still worth it. read more

First off it was my first time at a Skyline chili and was looking forward to checking it out. Now I'm not a huge cheese guy but wanted to try a 5 way anyway. It was eh. I'm picky with pasta and was way too much cheese. I did have a regular coney (hot dog, chili, mustard onions and no cheese) and really liked that. Also had an order of chili cheese fries to split with my son who had the buffalo chicken salad. He liked it. But really the outstanding part of coming here was the service. Today it was windy and there was a chill in the air so I immediately thought of chili hitting the spot. Where else would you go for chili? Skyline is the place to go. It's fast, clean and good tasting. I ordered my usual 4-way with onions and it was on the table in like two minutes, probably less. I scooped off half the shredded cheese so I can reapply some of it for bites with no cheese. I finished me plate it was so good. And I love oyster crackers. The chili was just what I needed to warm my cold bones on a chilly fall day. There are a lot of tables at this location. Can you believe this? I have never tried Skyline Chili before until my visit in September. I was super excited to try them out. I love a good fine-way chili and that is what I ordered. Well, let me say, I really enjoyed the habanero cheese; very tasty. However, the chili was not my favorite. I am not sure about other locations, but the location I visited gave a small portion size for the amount I paid. I am not picky, but the noodles did not even cover the container's bottom. Who doesn't love skyline chili?! This lives up to the amazingness but its fresh and hot and served up quick. If you like diner vibes and casual quick service you'll like this place. The chili is amazing,piled high with a mountain of cheese. I reccomend asking for extra onions. Downside is that it smells like the fair, its greasy and humid. Not super clean but it goes with the whole diner atmosphere. And sadly the hotdogs weren't warm they were actually pretty cold. Years ago I tried Skyline Chili and I didn't like it. 8 months ago I tried it again with a co-worker and I fell in love. This location is really close to my office so it's a regular stop for lunch. Well, I finally got to try this place. It had been on my list for a couple of years after seeing it on a TV southern food show. I thought I would have to go to Cinncinati to try it, but found that Indianapolis has a couple of locations. Skyline was interesting in that 1) the chili tasted different than any other chili I've tried, and I'm told it was strong of allspice flavoring, 2) the chili itself was void of beans and meat, and more like a soup, and 3) the servings are kind of tiny. The hot dog or Coney dog was only like 4-5" long, and the small 5-way plate was described as being served on an oval plate only about 6" long (I was advised to get a medium 5-way from the waitress, and which turned out to be just right). Overall, lunch was still a treat. The "5-way" is spaghetti served with chili, shredded cheese, onions, and beans. We also had a bowl of chili, a couple of Coney dogs and baked potato, with both topped with the standard chili and shredded cheese. I didn't care for the chili by itself, but the 5-way was yummy. The chili probably takes a couple visits for one to come around on it, and I will definitely try to visit again sometime. read more

No brand on the bottle. What's not - Small menu. It's reflective of a diner. My point is that there aren't a lot of options. - Service. It's difficult to flag down wait staff.
