Had a simple DoorDash here, long line, had multiple orders, came to the drive thru to say I had a DoorDash and WHOEVER spoke was rude already and told me to go to the SECOND window. Went to the second window. Waited 15 minutes. The lobby was CLOSED when it said open. Walked to the drive thru window to say I had a DoorDash and I was already waiting so long. I used the Drive-Thur here at 2:50pm. There was a major language barrier, which is not a big deal. I let the lady know the screen was incorrect and I'm not sure if what she has down is correct. When I got to the window to pay, she said the correct order, I gave her my promotion code for a couple free items, she gave me a reduced price. I get the receipt and what she actually did was removed part of my order to get the reduced price. I spoke to the manager who spoke GREAT English, he told me "I can't go back in time and change what's already done." I said sir, you should train your staff to tell people when they're doing something instead of just doing it and making the customer suffer. He says "again, I can't go back in time to change it, but you can use the code next time, sorry." Crummy service, poor management, they for a 2 Star because I received food that wasn't cold. read more

I have never used this app, but this McDonald's location is so abhorrent, I downloaded it to leave a review here. I work 3rd shift across the street from here, and despite being advertised as a 24 hour location, not once have I gotten so much as a response from the employees while at the drive through after midnight. Usually pulling the rest of the way through, I'll see employees standing inside just looking at their phone. My online order was terrible The lettuce on my chicken sandwich was old. The chicken was rubbery. The french fries were old. I ordered no salt. I could tell that they dipped them back into the hot grease just to get the salt off. They were old and hard to chew and hard to swallow, almost choked, and then they put a double cheeseburger in there probably to try to make up for the crap that they put in the bag. They advertise being open 24 hours, but half the time when I show up just before 3:30AM at the drive-thru they tell me they are closed. I tried to order this morning at 3:25AM only to hear "we are closed". Even when they are open, you can't order breakfast at 3:30AM or even coffee for that matter. Less than a minute up the road, White Castle is building a new restaurant and should re-open soon. They will be open 24 hours and you can order breakfast & coffee at 3:30AM. This McD's location doesn't care about its customers wasting their time driving to get something to eat at 3:30AM only to be told they're closed half the time, so I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I have to be at work by 4AM and I look forward to White Castle re-opening so I can get breakfast without worrying if they will be open or not. read more

Used drive thru. Ordered a McRib value meal. I parked in the parking lot to eat and discovered a fish sandwich. Went to delivery window again only to be told "We don't have any McRibs." Okay, first things first. Yes, I'm really reviewing a McDonald's. I know. I know. I can't believe it either. While I'm not opposed to reviewing fast food joints, let's be honest and acknowledge that unless you're in a bad neighborhood or a really good neighborhood then you know exactly what to expect from McDonald's. While I do frequent McDonald's for breakfast, mainly because it's on my way to work, it's incredibly rare that I choose to actually go inside one and have a meal. However, tonight I wasn't having much luck finding anything that sounded good and I knew I wanted an abundance of iced tea. Mostly, I just wanted to chill for a bit and read the newspaper. This particular location is located across from Castleton Square Mall. This makes it neither a bad neighborhood nor a good one, but definitely a high retail area. This location has a bit of the retro vibe and has generally been fairly consistent with service at the drive-thru. Tonight, however, McDonald's did a couple things that drive me absolutely batty and I felt compelled to come home and document them. First, it completely drives me nuts when chains become inconsistent with their pricing. Everyone knows that McDonald's has the $1 drinks. The vast majority of McDonald's locations will upsize the drink at no charge and many of them do it automatically. So, I didn't even think of asking for an upsized drink since I was getting iced tea and it should have been automatic. When she started to hand me the medium-sized cup, I asked to upsize and was informed it would be $.21. I know. I know. I feel petty. I really do. But, really. It's what makes McDonald's different from the other folks. If you're going to nickel and dime customers then I may as well head on over to our favorite border crossing corporate dudes at Burger King. Mostly, it's just inconsistent because multiple other McD's in the area don't charge for the upgrade AND it makes buying a value meal less of a value. So, it really is contradictory. Then, of course, there's food quality. I can remember when McDonald's had the best fries around. I know they're trying to be healthier these days, but between that change and the fact that these fries tasted like they'd been sitting around in the pan for a bit I can honestly say they were completely abysmal. The chicken McNuggets? They were decent, but even they didn't seem particularly fresh this evening. There's really not much more I can possibly write here. This is, after all, a McDonald's. However, I've come to expect better from this location and given its high visibility location they definitely need to do a better job. This visit was a definite disappointment. read more

I've even tried to wave through the window and speak to one outside but they do the best they can to dodge you. Ordered for delivery from this McDonald's (mistake no. 1) a couple of nights ago, via the UberEats app. I know, who orders McDonald's for delivery, right? Right. But anyway, UberEats offers it so I did it for a friend. The order was placed at 8:50 p.m., for two simple items (a salad, and a smoothie), so it required no cooking. Despite this, the order was acknowledged by the app, but not received by the restaurant or picked up until 10:22 p.m. -- or, more than 90 minutes after they had pocketed my money, and the McDonald's workers on duty were rude, ghetto, ignorant and indifferent when I politely phoned to check on the constantly changing ETA. Not sure if the restaurant, the driver or UberEats is at fault here, but none of the three has explained, or apologized. This, they call "fast food." This location's owner-operator would be wise to take a look at who's on staff in the evenings, because they're negatively impacting his reputation, and bottom line. read more

I've been coming here for several years and the more I come here the more I begin to wonder if I'm ever going to catch Hep A or not. Most recently I've seen a McDonald's employee decide to use the restroom while I was in there and not wash their hands upon returning to the floor. I decided to follow this person out to the floor and found out he is one of the cooks. This is extremely unsanitary. Also, the employees that work here are quite ghetto and definitely do not seem to care about their job. I understand they do not make much money which is rather unfortunate, but these employees are your stereotypical "fast food" employee. The inside of the restaurant is usually very well kept. The tables could be bussed much better than they usually are. You would think for a restaurant that is supposed to have an older feel to it that it would be kept up much better than it is. The treatment I've received from the employees here is extremely hit or miss. I've had many orders messed up so you'll want to always check your food before you leave if you're going drive-thru or carry out. Also, heaven forbid if they make a mistake because they will fight you tooth & nail over replacing your order. Which is rather ridiculous for a company that makes millions a year from its guests. Overall I'd highly recommend staying clear from this McDonald's as there are much better fast food places in the area that actually care about you as a guest. read more

The building was clean & the crew were fast to clean after Katherine guests left. McDs is always affordable, but this location offers something different Nostalgia and crispy fries. This should probably go without saying, but check your order before you leave! I failed to do so today and of course they shorted me food. I live in Broad Ripple but was in the Castleton area and decided to pick up lunch for my son and me. I went inside and got carry out because I also had to use the restroom. I was the only customer in the store and ordered a #9 (2 cheeseburger meal) and a chicken McNugget Happy Meal with ranch dipping sauce. Once I got all the way home I discovered they gave me one cheeseburger with my meal and a cheeseburger Happy Meal, no nuggets. I could have understood if they would have gave me my 2 cheeseburger meal and a cheeseburger Happy Meal, but they clearly did a sloppy, careless job when filling my order by putting one cheeseburger in each order. They always get your order wrong and oddly, you never get more than you paid for, always less. On 19apr17 I stopped at this McDonalds for a cup of coffee. I forgot my teeth on the tray. Came back 15 minutes later. The trash container was empty and anew bag completely empty was in its place. I asked the owner Eduardo to let me know where the bags were so I could get my teeth. He refused to tell me, said compressed, etc. I called McCorporate up and said, could you please talk to this manager and heve him show me the removed trash bags. Corporate refused to talk to him.
