Wanted to make sure that Skyline Auto Relocation received a great review which was earned by providing great service. My initial contact was with Montway and they used Skyline as the actual transport company to take my car from Boston to San Diego. Joe the administrator coordinating the transport and the driver Jacob were both great to work with. They answered my questions respectfully and promptly, provided updates as needed and delivered my car in perfect shape to my desired destination earlier than anticipated. It was convenient being able to pack up to 100 pounds in my vehicle. The only issue, which is more of a Montway problem regarding communication, is related to the car pickup location. The service is advertised as door to door. However my street pickup location was too narrow for the large truck. I had to have help coordinating drop off of my car approximately 3 miles away near an industrial park for better access. It was not a huge inconvenience, more of a surprise at the last minute to coordinate. read more

Update: He actually did over 12 000$ of damages to our property. Company wouldn't answer the BBB or their own insurance. Thankfully their insurance was very gracious and reimbursed us for all the damages. Again, save yourself the hassle and go with another company. read more

I was connected with Skyline through Yellowfin Logistics (my broker), and at first I was a little nervous given some of the earlier reviews. However, I noticed the most recent reviews were very positive so I decided to go for it. The whole experience was extremely easy. I moved my car from Boston to Los Angeles and my driver was very professional. He called me 30 minutes before pick up and filled out a form documenting any outstanding damage to the car to ensure I received the car in the same condition. Once I got to LA they called me and drove my car out to my new location. I stored a few items in the trunk and everything was intact. The car was undamaged and operable. This past week we moved our cars from Southern California to Florida.They are prompt and stay in touch-but do not flood your inbox or nag you on phone calls for marketing. The actual drivers are the most courteous, skilled, and careful I have ever seen. As a federal employee I have had to move quite a bit-and these folks are a first call company. I signed up with Montway Auto Transport (a broker) and Skyline won the bid. The transport was from Miami to Los Angeles. Like the other reader, I was a bit concerned over another user complaining her work stuff had been stolen. I can't speak for others, but for me, everything went extremely well. They were a much better price than others, and I couldn't be more pleased. I also had a specific ¨not earlier than¨ delivery date which I told Montway. And even though Skyline was early, they respected the request and waited for delivery. Based on all I read when selecting the company, the bottom line no matter what company you select is: * If at all possible, transport the car empty. The paperwork is very clear the insurance is for the car only. * Just as when you pickup a rental you inspect the car, make sure you inspect it right there. If you're tired take someone else with you. A fresh set of eyes is always good. * Take photos before the car is taken, and photos after delivery. * If the pickup / dropoff address location is an absolute must, negotiate with them and make sure the paperwork says you'll not accept delivery in a location other than the address you listed. * Be reasonable as well... for some neighborhoods it's very difficult (and others impossible) for a large truck to show up. Use google street view if you don't know the neighborhood. If you can see a truck cannot show up there, try to find a location that you believe would be OK and ensure the paperwork shows that address as well. read more

I booked my car with another company that hired E Freight and they subcontracted Skyline. I paid for this booking in full 2 months before my car was picked up to avoid any issues, shipping from Miami to LA. My car was picked up and delivered by Skyline, they picked it up later than originally agreed and delivered later than what I agreed with my booking agent. However, the MAIN issue was that when my car was delivered Joel, the dispatcher told me he did not receive confirmation of payment from E-Freight and that I needed to take out cash and pay the driver if not I would not receive my vehicle. After contacting my booking agent for this move, having my agent reach out to them and providing Joel proof of payment he still did not want to release my vehicle because E-freight had not confirmed payment was already received. My agent even attempted to pay his company directly and Joel rejected this as it would hurt "his business relationship" with E-Freight although he had no issue with asking me to take out cash and pay his driver. When I asked Joel why would he ask me to take out cash and he would not take payment from my agent as I had already paid in full the move, his response was "Because I (the customer) am selfish and I am only thinking about myself" I missed the memo on the quality of customer service in California, hence this is a California owned business (if it's even a legal entity). read more

Very happy with this company's services! We moved from LA to Memphis, TN and had then transport my wife's car which we just picked up. Car was undamaged and none of her personal belongings were disturbed. The driver was super friendly and contacted us beforehand to set up a delivery time, which was actually a day earlier than he had initially projected. The only reason I didn't give them a full 5 stars is because I tried to contact their dispatching service over 20 times and no one ever answered the phone which was frustrating. However we are very satisfied with this business overall. read more

I got my car shipped with this company from Los Angeles (Ktown) to Newton, Massachusetts by Boston. I was so scared my mom insisted on this company. Her friend used it but I looked it up and saw a makeup guru crying over all her makeup being stolen which honestly scared me and depressed me. I felt so bad for her! But my mom did not relent. It was about $900 to ship from LA to Boston and it came in one piece. The guy made sure there were no new scratches and nothing was stolen from my car, but I also made extremely sure with my mom that there was nothing in the car except for a few useless stupid things in the trunk. They marked the damage on my car when they got it and also checked when it was received so that was nice. I had to go pick up my car at a random big truck stop type gas station off whatever the Yankee Division Highway is. They couldn't deliver it right to my door at my school, Babson College which was fine. I understand it's hard to navigate. Honestly I preferred them just making me go to that gas station because I've wasted enough minutes of my life navigating confused drivers through my college campus. It's so fucking annoying and I'm so glad I did not have to do that. My mom's friend said she put a ton of shit in the trunk for the move and that it all arrived. So, I don't doubt that some people had bad experiences with theft but I think this company realized that they cannot do that anymore. I will try to use this company to ship my car back to LA and I will put some stuff in the trunk and leave all my useless junk in the back. Honestly, with all the gross shit in my car somebody would have to be a real sicko to try to steal stuff. So much garbage and dirty shit in my car. Lol. DO NOT USE SKYLINE AUTO TRANSPORT COMPANY. I am in the US Navy and needed to transport my car home from California to New Jersey. First off they were suppose to have the car in New jersey between 9AM - 12. My father took off from work to meet the delivery. They did not show up until 6:30PM. They could not deliver to my address so they had me meet in a supermarket parking lot after dark. The car arrived filthy. My father washed the car and noticed damage to the front quarter panel. He called the manager(ENOK) and was asked by Enok to send pictures. After that we never heard from them again. They refuse to answer/return phone calls. I placed a shipping order on Montway (broker) and then I received an email from Montway saying that Skyline is the actual carrier of my vehicle. I paid another $500 to get an expedited shipping and to pay for stuff I placed on the back seats and truck. I am happy that they come in a timely manner and my vehicle was delivered to me on time, though the delivery address is far from what I requested when submitting my order! They met me in a highway resting area for their own convenience! Fine, I can understand that they are tired! They handled the key to me and left. Then I found that one box that I placed on the back seat is no longer there!! My stuff was lost!! Well, there was also a scratch on my car door! That's a new scratch I promise!! Theft! I am so disappointed about their service! Waste of $1359 as I could ask other companies to complete my order for only $800! read more

So I had an epiphany that I should probably look this company up on yelp AFTER my car shipped, and boy I was very nervous after seeing all the "stuff getting stolen" stories. I also packed a suitcase full of relatively expensive clothing in the trunk of my vehicle, so getting that stolen would've grade A sucked. However, the car was shipped with no problems at all. The coordinator was also very friendly and helpful. I was extremely relieved to see that none of my clothes were stolen. The experience here was a total disaster. I first booked this company through All Terrain Transport. They were the broker and wanted them to make sure they that everything I said was covered. I had stuff in the car and I needed an appointment ahead of time along with door to door service! Skyline arrives and tries to jack up the price because there was stuff in the which I had already made them aware. Then they were trying to say I had a flat which clearly there wasn't. They also made me have someone meet them at a parking lot because they said they could not pick it up from my parents house. They did not do any of the three things I requested and notified them about. I did not leave my car on n their hands at all.I than made my complaint to All Terrain about this and they said they would find another trucking company. A few weeks past and I get a call from Enoc or Enok and he tells me he has my car! I call my house and said it was still in the driveway. I call him back and he insists it's my car. He than convinced me to use his company I said ok that I would but I want to stop by and check out their place before I put my car in their hands. I call the day before and he told me stop by anytime the next day. I stop by early the next morning around 10am and he is not there. I walk into the office and there are to shady 20 year olds sitting at a folding table with 2 computers and told me this was just the dispatch. There is no trucking done from this office. There was no sign outside nor were there any trucks or cars to be seen. This company is totally shady! He calls me and tells me I needed to make an appointment to meet with him and I told him that we discussed to I would stop by sometime tomorrow. He said he doesn't arrive until 11am. I said regardless this place is shady. I the m meantime I get a call from my Mom they need her to be there in 30 minutes so they can pick up the car. She was not around and couldn't . No one called to set up an appointment with me or my mom? I told Enoc the situation and he said he didn't need to call for an appointment with me I needed to make one with him. I almost broke my phone. I told him I wasn't using his company with a few curse words to add. I wouldn't use this company beware it is a fly by night company and who knows if you ever would see your car. I checked the place out in person. read more

I know there are some bad reviews about this company and I was a little skeptical when Numis used this company to transport my car but honestly there is nothing bad I can say about Skyline Auto Relocation.. First they called me to verify a time frame, then they picked up my car from West Hollywood, CA on Wedensday August 5th and I received my car last night in Tyngsboro, Ma. It only took the driver a week to deliver my car. They called and text me with updates. I did have some personal belonging in the back of my trunk and nothing was moved or stolen. There were no damages to my car. Overall, it was smooth transaction. I thank Mike (the driver) & hope he has a safe drive back to California. read more

I was also a bit skeptical about this company when Montway subcontracted it to transport my car from Los Angeles to Boston, but I must say that I had a great experience. Like everyone else, I had read the bad reviews concerning theft from items inside the car (all of which seem to originate from the same person or friends thereof...). So I took extra precaution and removed everything from the glove box, trunk, etc. As soon as they got subcontracted to transport my car, Skyline Auto Relocation was really "on the ball", calling me numerous time to check details and get extra information. My car got picked up the day after I booked with Montway, which is really quick in this business. I guess they already had a truck leaving for New England so that's why it was so fast. The guy that came to pick up my car was friendly and professional. We inspected the car together and noted all the minor scratches that were already there. He took several pictures of the car so that they have a record of the state of the car before the move. Throughout the move, Skyline would call often to keep me updated on the status of the car. Since they had picked up the car so early, there was the slight problem that the car got there before me. Skyline was fairly flexible and postponed the delivery by a day which worked great for me. They couldn't delivered my car directly to my house because the truck was too big for my street, so I had to go to a mall closeby to pick it up, which was a minor hassle. The driver of the truck was nice and he delivered me the car promptly. The car had no damage and was in great condition. So, overall I'm very happy with the service I got from Skyline Auto Relocation. I'm not giving five stars though because of the inflexible pick up window (seems to be the case with ALL these car moving companies) and because I had to go a mall to pick up my car. read more

Used this carrier for a cross-country move. Never again. Every time I called (four times), Joseph, the dispatcher, would pick up the phone and mumble "hello?" Confusing the first couple times you call, but not a deal breaker. However, he was entirely unhelpful and disinterested in giving me anything more than a mumbled "yes" or "no" answer. After multiple calls to him to try to figure out a way to get my car on a Wednesday rather than a Friday, I'd been informed that the only way to do this is through a direct deposit. I ask if he'll take Chase QuickPay... apparently the answer was no. I call the bank and ask about doing a direct deposit, to which they explicitly say that Chase QuickPay will automatically deposit in someone's account (they don't have to go the extra step of clicking "deposit" like Venmo. Joseph asks if I'm physically standing in the bank, to which I say no but I've JUST been told by Chase that it will work. Starting to impatiently sigh and speak with attitude now, he says "listen, we do this all the time and it won't work, it has to be a direct deposit." After talking to this completely unhelpful individual 5 times now and with his new attitude, I snap a little and just say "listen, asshole, you've been deliberately unhelpful and rude to me this entire time, I'm telling you that I JUST spoke to Chase and they're telling me it will automatically go into your account." Joseph responded "did you just call me an asshole?" and hung up on me. Now I'm legitimately angry. I try calling back. Phone rings for a few times then I get a busy signal. Same thing the second time. Same the third time. I realize he's screening my calls and refusing to answer them. The fourth time he picks up but then immediately ends the call. I call 7 more times until he answers the phone. While I'm really angry at this point, I'm calm enough to realize that I just need to speak to his manager. His answer? No. He told me he wasn't going to transfer me to anyone and that if I spoke the way that I did to him no one would help me. I told him I was going to file a police report if he wasn't going to take my calls or assist in getting my vehicle delivered. He also told me that I didn't know him. This guy had descended into 7th grade schoolyard taunts. I'm now not even sure if his name is "Joseph" or if he just made that up on the spot. After this, he automatically changed the date of delivery for my car so that I'd have to wait the two days until Friday, exactly what I was trying to avoid in the first place! Such unfriendly, unhelpful people. I suspect they're jerks because... what are you going to do? They can be as rude and dismissive as they want. They have your car, you now have to pay them to get it back -- you have (almost) no recourse. Thank goodness for yelp. My only recourse is for anyone reading this and considering using Skyline to reconsider. read more

I have never been so disgusted with a company in my life. I used this company to ship my brand new car with a bunch of my things inside. When it got to its destination almost everything was stollen inside which totaled over $13,000. They also damaged the car by stepping on the seats with their dirty shoes, and wiping grease on the cloth areas of the door and windows. They also left the lights on in the inside of my car and left their flashlight inside.... I am so upset I have never felt so violated in my life. I would never wish this upon anyone. So I would strongly advise EVERYONE to find a new company to ship your car. I know for a fact that no one wants their things stolen or their car damaged. When I contacted the company about this horrible situation they were very mean and pushy and blamed this whole thing on me. I cannot believe the whole company is behind this and not just the drivers who transported my car. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau with this problem to hopefully shut this horrible business DOWN. No one deserves to feel the way I do.
