I had gotten in a car accident and AAA gave me a list of body shops to go to. Greg's was first to get back to me and they were so friendly. They kept us up to date on our estimated time to pick our car up, and gave us good advice about rental cars. We would definitely take our cars there in the future- they were all friendly and kind. Thank you Greg's Auto Body!! read more

We had our dodge truck fixed here couldn't be happier, communication was as great. The price was less than the quote. Thanks to everyone!

Can you say "Insurance Fraud"? Greg's Auto Body charged nearly $2,500.00 to repair this bumper which had 2 screw imprint from a car that kissed the bumper... WOW! I'm amazed how they could grossly exaggerate the damage to milk the insurance company to pay more. This work should not have exceeded $800.00 max and even that amount could be cut in half. No wonder our insurance rates are so high. Note to the Owner - you should be ashamed to allow this type of practice in your business. read more

Got work done about 3 years ago... work was sub par but didn't complain or go back to have it done right. I recently inquired about some warranty work for their paint, the clear started lifting around panel edges. Told me they would give me a call. About a month later and haven't heart jack. Save your time and money. AAA contracted body shop does not mean anything. Try Weddles Auto body down the street. read more

Man could not be more happy with from the first phone call to the actual visit nothing but quality customer service you don't fine any more of that around. The guy who writes the estimates, well I had Joe real knowledgeable and good humor not a grumpy guy . The only bad thing he's a Vikings fan but I won't hold that against him for not knowing any better. The young lady who greets you with a warm smile as you walk in very professional . Now to the body work it's plain to see they take pride in their craftsmanship. The work is done in a timely manner. I would with out a doubt definitely recommend this body shop. One happy customer. I came in for a smog check and Greg had awful costumer service. They are unaware of the newer Cadillac system that many other shops have been updated on. Greg did not explain what was wrong with a new Cadillac that had been installed through insurance and was throwing out attacking words saying it was "illegal" and in the state of California it's illegal. He projected that my father and I installed an illegal part in my car. We told him multiple times that we aren't a mechanic so we obviously would not know this is illegal. He kept shaking his head and not listening to what we were saying being completely rude and unprofessional. Until Daniel had approached us with proper communication and explaining what steps we can do. Hopefully in the future Greg learns to talk properly to customers and explain what your job title is supposed to do. read more

This will be an odd post. It is more about the business itself versus the work they produce. After seeing several positive reviews I have attempted to stop by here to get an estimate. On a couple of occasions I've driven here and they are closed for lunch. Sometimes I don't look at the clock and I just pull into a business when I can. Personally a business that can't afford to have an employee available during lunch gives the impression that there's a problem financially with the company. I followed up by coming back when they were open and I was told an estimator isn't available. How does an auto body shop close for lunch, and not have an estimator available when a customer pulls up. I was told just send the insurance companies estimate and we will work with that. in my opinion this location has poor customer service and if that is the proverbial tip of the iceberg I am extremely concerned about the current quality of work they produce. read more

Went to Greg's Auto as a result of an accident where I was not at fault. Since this was my first accident, I was stressed and didn't know what to expect. Greg's Auto was on the list of AAA-approved body shops and I heard good things about it from my dad. I made an appointment and brought my car in the next day. Robert, one of the estimators, walked out with me to examine the damages, and he was incredibly patient and thorough in explaining everything to me. He sent me two quotes for repairs so that I could decide which one to go with. They called me when my car was ready, I picked it up, and that's it! Greg's Auto in partnership with AAA made this initially stressful process incredibly easy! Highly recommended! read more

Almost a year ago, we took our car to Greg's Auto Body for repairs (after another vehicle, trying to pass, side-swiped ours) and they did a spectacular job on it. A couple of weeks ago, we were back at Greg's with the same car after it got severely gouged (quarter panel and two doors) by another vehicle attempting to park next to ours. Well, Greg's Auto Body has done another spectacular job! Excellent and efficient workmanship; very friendly staff; great communication; highly recommended. We look forward to visiting Greg's again (with our luck, probably about a year from now). read more

gave price for work, while working on my vehicle, they have raised the price 800.00 plus dollars and still after 4 weeks my vehicle is not ready, keep claiming they can't get the parts. Why would they start the work, if they can't get the parts. Would not recommend, probably needs to be investigated for fraud. read more

I was in a accident back in December. I was hit on my front right side tire. My car could not be driven due to the impact. When I called triple A they gave me a few places near by and without any reviews I selected Greg's . My wife spoke with Justin and told us how long the process would be. No one ever wants to be in a accident especially close to Christmas. He explained the process and about how long it would take to get fixed. Let me tell everyone out there that this place is amazing and very professional. We were sent via text messages updates regarding how much longer it would be and step by step what they were working on. They also gave us an estimated date and were done before. There was great communication and outstanding customer service. When I went to pick up my car I was like wow. The work they did was so dammmm awesome and beyond my expectation. All new parts used and work done was backed up with a life time guarantee. Below is what my car looked before and the finished worked. Car was even washed and detailed . Justin thank you and awesome job. read more

The worst customer service i have ever had they tried to give me a completely wrong color rim they did not even check the seat belts which were broken after that they ruined my headliner with grease then tried to clean it themselves and made it worse had to take it to a professional detailer to get it properly cleaned. I wish that was all but then my rain guard on my window came off and my rack and pinion blew out after i had brought up that it was making noise and my front inner fender well fell out. Also they left swirls in my brand new paint after all of this i had to have auto club come out and meet with greg and myself. Greg became extremely agitated and aggressive and started making accusations towards me i am happy auto club was there to handle the rest DO NOT COME HERE!! Since randon left it has went downhill!! Also they will not warranty there work they installed faulty used parts and then told me i was lying about it completely ridiculous horrible place!!!!!! read more

WAY WAY OVERPRICED and SO RUDE!!!!! My family has been going here for YEARS but not anymore. I went in to the Whittier location looking for a quote on some MINOR body damage to my car before I turned it in to the dealership (my lease was coming to an end) and BRANDON not only over quoted me, $3,500, but was so rude and ignorant. I told him I had just got a quote from a different place for $700 and he said "yeah if you want your car to look spray painted". He then proceeded to tell me that I could go some place else and probably get it for $1,500 so I said "so I can go somewhere else and get a good job done for $1,500 but not here?" And he said "yup". He obviously didn't want my business, spent less then 5 minutes with me (probably because it was lunch time and he wanted the chicken bowl he had ordered as i was waiting in the lobby for help) and had a cocky ignorant attitude. Who turns business away? He was obviously too busy to give me the time of day, too "busy" to want my business and charges WAY WAY WAY TOO MUCH! I left so confused. Needless to say, I went to SAN CRIS (FELIX) auto body shop in east LA (318 S. Woods ave, los Angeles ca) who gave me the original quote for $700 and he not only did an AMAZING job, but had it done in 24 hours and gave me the up most respect and GREAT customer service. He's not down the street but DEFINITELY worth the drive!!! I recommend them to ANYBODY who needs body work done to their car!! GREGS NEEDS TO STEP IT UP. How can you charge someone $3,500 for a $700 job all while providing POOR customer service? It's a real shame since we have been using GREGS for so many years. Stop ripping people off and start respecting your customers. read more

Horrible customer service, & flat out unethical! I brought my vehicle to Greg's Auto Body because they were close. Backstory: Nearly 2 yrs. ago my work van was stolen. After the police found my (gutted) van, I took it to Greg's for the body repairs. Before they started the work I took pictures showing the remaining tools (that weren't stolen) In doing so, I had documented a tool that I had (which was brand new) that one of their mechanics had stolen and replaced with a broken one. The problem was that new the tool was slightly different now and the power button was in a different location. After showing my pictures to the (then) manager Brandon, he replaced the tool, so I let it go. A few months ago I was in an accident. Again, I took my van to Greg's Auto Body. After they were finished with my van, I picked it up and noticed the front bumper (which they replaced) was about 3"-4" lower than it used to be and you could literally reach in and grab my radiator. After some arguing with the new manager, he finally researched and realized that they ordered (and installed the wrong brackets). They fixed my bumper but then when I picked up my van, I noticed that the steering wheel column was broken in half. They had just replaced the AC power adapter (which was cut when they stole it) and they had to remove the steering column to access it. When I told the interim manager (the owner's sister) she looked at it and said... "How do we know you didn't do this yourself?. After I said there's no way I could've even touched the column during normal use, she said "We're done here. If you don't leave, I'm going to call the police ". I was dumbfounded. I actually had proof that they had done this, but she wouldn't even listen to me or look at my photos. I left and still have a broken steering column. I'm hoping they finally have a decent manager now that earned the position rather inherited it because of family ties. read more
