Around October 2024, we cancelled our monthly membership. The website was down, so we did so in person and were told we're all set and it's cancelled. It was in fact never cancelled and we continued to be charged until we cancelled the credit card itself in July 2026. We went in person to ask how and why this happened. We were told that this happens ALL the time (!!) and that our situation (~18 months of over billing) isn't even the worst they've seen (!!). They went as far as saying that often times someone will write down a name to cancel their membership, but then the person who is able to do the actual cancellation is never told what that name is for, so it never happens. (I'm still shocked that they blatantly acknowledged what a pervasive issue this is for them). After emailing corporate about the situation (as we were told to do), we were offered ONE MONTH of refund to cover ~18 months of over charge. That is crazy. We have continued to go back and forth and Sky Zone refuses to refund the money for a membership that was cancelled nearly two years ago. Absolutely wild behavior. Stay away at all costs.

An employee wearing a black uniform came over to us and told us that we needed to stop screaming, even though we weren't the ones making the noise. The employee then demanded that we get into a single-file line, which felt unnecessary and was handled in a very rude and demanding way. Overall, the experience felt frustrating because we were treated like we were doing something wrong when we weren't. I understand that employees have rules they need to enforce, but there is a big difference between enforcing rules and being rude or accusing customers of things they didn't do. When the time came to cancel, I called and was suddenly told I had to download a form, fill it out, and email it back. Fine -- I did it. Then on the day of the billing cycle I was charged for September. I emailed and left a voicemail. Four hours later I got a reply saying my membership would continue through the end of September... with zero mention of a refund. I called again and was told only the manager could process a refund, and that she would call me back at 2. I specifically said I did not want to wait around all day for a callback. I was told that was the only way. No call ever came. I had to call back myself. The manager (Riley) then asked for my full card number over the phone to issue the refund. Extremely inconvenient. Later I checked and the refund was only half the membership amount. When I called again, she said she "wasn't sure of the amount so she just returned whatever she decided." We had been on the phone together -- she could have simply asked. I had to give my card details a second time and go through the whole process again for the remaining balance. I am blown away by how this business is run. On top of the cancellation nightmare, regular visits have shown ongoing issues with underage employees and the AC frequently not working. Would not recommend.
