Brought the kids to meet up with some friends, left wondering if I needed a tetanus shot. First of all, it's wildly overpriced for what is essentially jumping on trampolines that look like they've seen some things. Like... war things. The place was noticeably dirty, trash everywhere, cups on the floor, food containers and that mysterious sticky feeling no one wants to think too hard about. Staffing wise, it appears to be run by exactly two teenagers who looked like they were summoned mid-Snapchat and given a whistle. I'm not sure who was supervising who, but it definitely wasn't an adult. And the bathrooms? An adventure. Two out of three stalls were out of toilet paper, which feels like a bold choice for a place full of kids and parents who paid way too much to be there. For the amount of money we paid, I expected at least a basic level of cleanliness and maybe one employee old enough to rent a car. The kids had fun (because of course they did), but at these prices I'd rather just give them Red Bull and let them run in the yard. Would I come back? My experience at sky zone has always been fantastic until today. We had a two hour jump pass - and about an hour and 45 minutes in the operations manager had informed my son he was no longer able to jump because his socks were not sky zone ( believe they said launch- from Ann arboe but same concept ). Upon speaking with said manager he told me their socks had to say " sky zone " to which I said " you're kidding right " ? Essentially he told me all employees were trained to look for sky zone socks ( whether they are or are not I'm not sure ) but I said we have 15 minutes left and if that was the case it should have been caught at any time in the almost two hours between Both my children. To make a long story short after going round and round for about 7 minutes he gave me two pair of socks - Other people were also in other socks - not sure what this guys problem was and not sure if it's policy but figured I'd share read more

Not at all accessible for folks with disabilities - they don't care that people without placards take the accessible spots & won't do anything about it. Hard to move around inside on crutches. Beyond those obvious failings, it's loud, dirty, and chaotic, they were out of half their food options, and I swear every metal piece of hardware in the place needs some grease. Attended a birthday party with my grandson today. The place had 3 employees at opening. Not sure how many finally came in to help. This was the most disorganized group of employees I have ever seen at a place that I assume gets most revenue from booked parties. When the time came for the children to start the "party" portion of the day after running & jumping for 90 minutes, The food was not ready & the room had no air conditioning on!! As they brought just cheese pizza in, it was way too hot to serve to children but somehow inside was raw. By the time they delivered more pepperoni pizza, it was more than 15 minutes after the start time & the party parents deserved better service for this event. Had my brothers bday party on a Saturday at 11:30 am ! Not super busy ,everything seemed so empty which was great! , there was more parties around 1 pm and seemed more hectic! All these employees at these stations are doing is putting self doubt in the little ones heads when they should be encouraging them. I am not saying all the employees were doing a unsatisfactory job but there were multiple ones at these stations between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. and in this case were all males. Maybe if the male employees did there jobs and stuck to looking out for the kids instead of chatting it up with the female employees that were trying to do there jobs the place would run more efficiently. This place always smells like feet. Probably because of all the sweaty kids running around. I've been here for open jump as well as a few b-day parties. The place is cool, and if you're looking to wear your kid out, let them jump for 15-20 minutes. They'll be worn out for sure. Just hope they don't ask you to jump with them. In addition to the open jumping they have hoops you can dunk on, and a big foam pit. The lines can get long, but by and large things tend to even out after about 10 minutes. As far as bday parties go the rooms are tight, but the staff that was helping us were incredibly friendly and helpful. One of them asked me if they could throw the napkin away for me that was in my hand. I'm good buddy, but thanks for asking. Open jump is about $7-$10. They also have special events where you can jump all night for a flat rate. This place is ran down. Smells moldy. The womens bathroom is disgusting. Doors are literally bent, floors are majorly sticky, toilets won't flush, pretty sure someone was doing drugs in the stall I had to wait 10 minutes to use bc none of the other ones worked, when she came out she couldn't walk right. Table had left over food on it, floor is full of trash under the table, I wiped down the table and chairs and the wipe was a dingy grey. The advertising for this place makes it seem like it's clean and tidy. Quite honestly I am worried about what's all over the trampoline part, I can't use it as I'm 8 months pregnant right now. My 1-yr-old daughter came across an open packet of cigarettes sitting on the ground. For the party, they had us in a room that was practically all windows with no blinds/shades, so it was SO BRIGHT and SO HOT from the sun that we all could barely see. I kept having to go out into the hallway to cool down because the room was baking. Also, we were only allowed to have 40 minutes for the party. So I reserved a party from 4p-6p for 8 kids. Paid over $250. The party included 8 - 1hr jumps, 2 lg pizzas, I Party room, decorations (basic Pepsi paper cups and paper plates). The front desk was SOOOOO UNORGANIZED, we arrived at 3:38 and weren't checked in until 4:30. We go to other sky zones often so the parents and I had already completed the waivers and had all the socks with me and children. Not one child was later than 4p. Let's talk about the room not being ready or no baskets available for everyone's shoes and coats. The pizzas that they require comes from Sky Zones "kitchen" are 12" MAYBE. Totally disappointed for the amount of money and time I put in here smh. A total rip off. read more

Place sucks. It's really in the details with this place. In comparison to Air Time, it really pales. Primary issues: - A requirement to have "Sky Zone" socks. A number of other trampoline places have opened and they allow you to go barefoot. I, for example, had a pair of support socks that also had sticky bottoms. They're obviously trying to get money because I was told "they could only be Sky Zone" socks, even though they were the same. The waiver is so extensive, I'm sure the issue isn't liability. - If you don't pay for Sky Zone, but your two year old is jumping, if they fall, you can't go over to help them, even if you're barefoot or have the socks on (Air Time allows you to walk over with your child). It's double stupid because the children under 5 are in a separate area. Meaning if you were trying to "sneak and jump" it would be really obvious and embarrassing. - You can't do backflips, despite the super waiver. - You basically can't make contact with any of your friends. Air Time let's you play tag, but Sky Zone has a strict "stay in your square" rule. What did I sign a waiver for? - They're painfully strict about time limits. Again, Air Time isn't. I get they're trying to make money, but honestly, most people aren't going to jump past an hour, it's too tiring. Honor system works better and doesn't leave a bitter taste in your mouth. Similarly, if you arrive at 2:09 and want to jump for 30 minutes, you have to either forfeit ten minutes or wait 20. Either way it sucks. - Customer service sucks. No one can answer a straightforward question. It seems like it pains them to work there. Air Time is much more chill and they're nicer. Tl;Dr go to Air Time. read more

A group of friends and I went here the other day for a 2hr dodgeball session, and I really loved it! The place was much bigger than I expected, and by going later in the day we managed to hit it when it was pretty empty. Will definitely be going back! However, there was one thing that kept this from being a 5-star experience in my mind. While we were playing, a few off-duty employees hopped in. In general, this was a lot of fun. Most of them were goofing around and having a good time, playing down to the level the rest of us were at. A couple, however, seemed to decide this would be a fun time to show off their skills and ended up kind of beating up on us. A number of our group took hard hits to the face, which hurt! Their skill level was so clearly above ours that we moved away to a different court because playing them just wasn't fun. I actually heard about this place from an injured co-worker in Minneapolis who had tried a not-so-smart stunt at this trampoline park. Despite his story, his description of a "building full of trampolines" really intrigued me. When I got home, I was excited to find that there was a Sky Zone in SE Michigan! I took my nieces (two 6-year-olds) and nephew (8-year-old) here a few days after Christmas for the Sky Zone winter camp ($30 apiece, including lunch). This trampoline paradise has everything a kid could want to do and more: basketball, dodgeball, a foam pit, and hundreds of feet of bouncy funtime goodness. Not only that, but the Sky Zone employees (mostly young high school kids) stayed with the kids the whole time. Once the place fills up with kids, it can get very overwhelming with all the commotion and games so I was glad someone was watching out for them. Needless to say, those kids slept well on the ride home. From their website, I also learned that there are classes and dodgeball leagues for adults. I recently had a party here for my daughter's soccer team. This review is just based on the party experience. The party was held on a Friday evening, and the girls were supposed to have one hour of jump time. By the time they got through waiting in lines for every area they wanted to jump in, they probably only had 20 - 30 minutes of actual jump time. They also make you pay in full 48 hours BEFORE your actual party! I have had many kids parties at many different venues, and this was the first time I've ever had to prepay for a party. They already had my $100 deposit on the party, so I don't see the point in having to prepay. Actually, I probably do know what their point is, but I don't agree with it, and think it's a poor business practice. Especially when it comes to kids parties! Another irritation was that they don't let you bring your own cake in. One of the moms from the team brought a cake she had made for the girls. We were told that they were very sorry, and the cake was very beautiful, but because of some health code, we couldn't serve that cake. I most definitely will never have another party here! read more

It was a rocky start; I made reservations for a party for my daughter, and had a lot of trouble getting a hold of them afterward to confirm and make my final payment. The phone system gives you two minutes of 'advertising' before giving you the touch tone options, but you can 0 out and get to the operator. After another two minutes, they give you the option to leave a voicemail, and then four minutes after that, you're forced to give a voicemail. When they call you, the number is listed as private, so be ready to answer it. (of course, even knowing/expecting this, I missed it EVERY TIME!) I was legitimately soured at this point, but wanted to make the best of it. The parking lot is a bit small for the capacity of the venue, but had ample handicapped spots. I imagine on the hour parking can get hard to come by. After reading the reviews, I was really nervous about the check in part of the process. When we got there, on a Sunday afternoon, the kiosk of two 'waiver' stations had about three people in line. We had already completed the waivers online, but the guests were able to get their waivers completed very quickly. (They can also do the waivers online ahead of time, as long as they have an email address) They were one short on the 'jump stickers' for our group, but we had one no-show, so it wasn't a big deal. I had added an additional person at the time that I made my final payment, and it appeared they hadn't made enough stickers. (Count them before you start checking people in) Other than that, it was extremely smooth and friendly. The kids were ready to start about 12 minutes before their scheduled start time, so we didn't have the wait that others had experienced. They had a cart for our things, and it got pretty full, so if you can leave anything in the car, do so. They are not completely secure, so keep your valuables with you or get a locker. The place was huge! There were plenty of employees around to keep the kids safe. Because my group of 10 completely scattered once their hour started, this was a huge comfort. I did a few headcounts as we went though. We were able to walk around the complex freely to keep up on the children, as were the parents that attended the party with us. They do separate some of the areas by size, but the kids had no issue with it at all, thankfully. About halfway through the jump time, a sweet employee named Bree came up and introduced herself as our Party Host. She went over the process and let us know our party started promptly on the hour, and that presents may not get to be opened before the room needed to be vacated. (I was fine with this, as that time tends to get crazy, and I wasn't quite sure if every person brought a gift, so I didn't want anyone feeling bad) She made sure I didn't have any questions and promised to check back with me shortly. Most of the kids were ready to be done about five minutes before the party started, so we all met at the 'stairs' and went to the party room. Bree was extremely helpful getting the children drinks and pizza (Jets, which was a nice surprise, as I expected 'kid party pizza'), while the grownups fended for ourselves and caught up in the back of the room, which was nice, because we grownups were able to have a great time as well. Bree served everyone the ice cream cake, which served at least 15-20 people. It was tasty for grownups and kids alike! Note that you'll have to order food and drink for the jumpers and non jumpers separately. It was a great experience for my daughter's birthday.
