I stumbled on this interesting township park on the way home from friends place. It is a great recreation source for people who live near by. This park boasts lot of different things for almost everyone to enjoy. This is an active park with nice boardwalk, splash area, grasslands, drinking fountains along the way, covered picnic area, amphitheater, sporting fields for different sports, small and beautiful ponds that have ducks and geese. There is also a bridge that arches out into the pond. There are decent amount of tress with plenty of benches to rest on the walkways. Open air walk around the lake is always refreshing. Many festivals are held here throughout the summer. Nice place to hang out with family. Heritage Hideout and Canton Library close by. Plenty of free parking space.

Heritage Park is where my exercise class with my daughter meets when the weather is warm. The paths through the park are wonderful. You can make a walk as long or as short as you want, with ducks for company nearly the whole way. As you stroll, jog or (in my daughter's case) roll through the park, you'll pass baseball diamonds, ponds, a playground/jungle gym, and picnic tables under pavilions for a rest. Off of one of the parking lots are a splash park and a gorgeous castle play structure. Heritage Park is a great time for people of all ages and fitness levels. It's a great place to just get out, relax and enjoy.

I have been to this park before and it is a nice spot to visit celebrations. The park is located off od Summit drive and Canton Center. There is always a good mix of culture at the park. It is great for walking, jogging and a nice gathering. This occasion was for the Liberty Fest. There were rides, carnival foods and other events. I also stayed for the Fireworks. The parking is always prime for this event. I was lucky to have parked close earlier on in the evening. This venue is always managed well and policed well. Great location to have this event.

Heritage park has the best walking paths. We enjoy taking walks there. My daughter enjoyed camp there also. It is a great part of Canton.

The playground is huge and looks like so much fun for children. There's also a gated waterpark right next to the play ground called H20 Spray park. Not sure when it opens to the public but I believe you do have to pay to enter. As you walk further down, you'll see a concession stand and another building with outside seating along with a hanging sign that says Westand Lions Club. And There's a pond area with a fountain in the middle. Lastly, there's a soccer field with a 2 lane track going around it - 1 lap is 0.5mi. After exploring the area, I went around the track a few times. I had a Very nice time.

I'm a pet owner and love to walk her [Abby] here, I have to mention way to many people aren't doing the right thing and cleaning up after their dogs. Owners who say the poop bags aren't earth friendly, that's a crock! I only buy bags that break down and you can too! Anyway, I hate to say to many nice things, then everyone else goes then it gets crowded splash zone, play grounds, skate board concrete area which is amazing, wish I had that growing up. Food/snack stand, picnic areas, just a beautiful park.

It's located on the shores of Belleville lake. It features lakeside boardwalk, picnic pavilion and wonderful lake views. There is fishing pier and public docks to launch Canoes/kayaks. It's a very nice setting beside the lake with benches and picnic tables. It was nice relaxing to walk down to the fishing deck. There were only few people so we were able to walk around freely. Also a PERFECT spot to watch the sunset, and even do some fishing. We searched out a nearby park to cap off our weekend visit to Belleville for the Thunder over Michigan Air Show, and this was a PERFECT spot, and walking distance to downtown, along with various bars/restaurants. This side of town seems to be older, more relaxed, while everything we had seen earlier in the weekend (off of the "main drag" Belleville Rd.) was more rushed, with plenty of chain restaurants that we wanted to avoid. The slow, relaxed walk along the water's edge of just a small portion of this wonderful town park did wonders to repair our (my) frazzled Air Show nerves, and to give us more of a real taste of this lovely area. Well kept-up, clean, nice walkways, benches and picnic tables, and a sunset that just can't be beat!! Hope to return again one day SOON!!!
