There are several pavilions and picnic tables suitable for a great picnic or outdoor parties. Pavilions can be rented. It's attached to an outdoor splash park with water attractions including a massive dump bucket. Adequate parking. Felt safe as it's located next to the police station. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite within the walking distance.

The playground is huge and looks like so much fun for children. There's also a gated waterpark right next to the play ground called H20 Spray park. Not sure when it opens to the public but I believe you do have to pay to enter. As you walk further down, you'll see a concession stand and another building with outside seating along with a hanging sign that says Westand Lions Club. And There's a pond area with a fountain in the middle. Lastly, there's a soccer field with a 2 lane track going around it - 1 lap is 0.5mi. After exploring the area, I went around the track a few times. I had a Very nice time.

You have tons of runners also running thru the trails. It has a nice playground also for children to enjoy themselves. I was walking thru the trails also on a beautiful fall afternoon last month with the fall foliage in full effect. It was a beautiful sight with yellow and orange shades along with greenery that was coming toward the end of season. It was a very refreshing walk as I was making my way to a nearby sushi restaurant. The breeze was a little cooler and the temperature was around 60 degrees. A beautiful autumn day.

We adore Plymouth Township Park! There's so much to do during any season. The big hill is perfect…read morefor sledding for older elementary aged kids and up and it's a bit less steep on the side for younger kids. There are trails to walk through with little streams and bridges and downed trees that are perfect for any season. The pond hosts ducks in the spring and summer which are fun to watch. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions to eat at or rent. Lots of different play structures are dotted around, our favorite being the large wooden one. There's even bunches and seating in the center. The best part is that there is a smaller toddler wooden park within the big one which is fenced with one entrance and exit right by the seating with swings. The highlight of the park, though, is the splash pad in summer. It's geared more towards young children and toddlers, probably kindergarten and below, but it's a lot of fun to spread a blanket in the shade while the kids play.

My son had so much fun running around, climbing and jumping. So many different ways to play and ways to explore. They have two play areas separated by age groups - little kids and big kids. There were covered pavilions with picnic tables that will be suitable for small parties. On walking distance there were restrooms and a water fountain. Also there is a fun splash pad located close by that is open during summer. Good parking space and in the evenings we saw ice-cream truck coming to the park.

Wilcox Lake Rec Area is a tiny little park off of Hines Drive, but it's impressionable for its…read moresmall size. There's a small lake, Wilcox Lake, teaming with wildlife and is a popular local fishing spot. It features a pier. There is a dam on one end of the lake and boating isn't allowed. Picnic tables adorn the grassy areas next to the lake and there is a small restroom and a Doctor Who styled Little Free Library. The recreation area extends across Hines Drive to a picnic shelter which can hold maybe 50 people. There are some small grills for cooking. There is also a playscape, though it looks and feels ancient and in need of an upgrade. Compared to some of the larger, well-kept playscapes along Hines, this one is anemic. Thankfully, there are others less than a mile away.

Kellogg Park is a fun gathering spot in the heart of downtown Plymouth. In the summer, there are…read moreconcerts, outdoor yoga, and the weekend farmer's market. In the fall, there is Scarecrows in the Park. In the winter, holiday decorations and the tree lighting display go up. There are always festivals in downtown Plymouth every season that run through Kellogg Park. There is the Ice Festival, Holiday Market, Michigan's 2nd largest art fair called Art in the Park, the Plymouth Fall Festival, Spring Artisan Market, and many more events. Plymouth outbeats other upscale suburban metro Detroit cities for fun activities due to the sheer number of festivals happening year-round in and around Kellogg Park and downtown. As much as I love the festivals and markets, Kellogg Park is very small and surrounded by parking and traffic. It's the kind of park for a stroll, not a place where you can do more than that for exercise, which is unfortunate. It would be nice to have more walking paths and exercise areas in Plymouth, but it's too small as it is.

Always an active place, last year I was here for the ice festival. It's a family friendly park that is great for a stroll. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants around the park. Grab a bite and relax by walking around. This review is for the "Walk of Trees" event in this park. We enjoyed trees lining the walkways of the Park decorated by a local family, club, business or organizations in the Plymouth Community. It was beautiful at night with lights in the trees. The trees are officially lit the day after Thanksgiving and remain up until the New Year. It's a free event and wonderful way to honor a loved one.

We went on a weekend, it was full loaded with players and felt overcrowded near the courts. Good parking space !
