It's attached to an outdoor splash park with water attractions including a massive dump bucket. Adequate parking. Felt safe as it's located next to the police station. There are plenty of places nearby to grab a bite within the walking distance.

This Roosevelt Park is located in the middle of a residential area, at the intersection of Aubrey Street and Lennane Street. Park hours are from 6 am to 11 pm, although I'm sure people can visit this park outside that time window as no one is really monitoring it.

This park has so much potential if only the city invested more funds in its upkeep and landscaping. I thought my vehicle would be swallowed up by the huge potholes around the parking lot. I noticed some trash on my walk. I was told that the park was closed for a while and volunteers from the local community brought this park back to life. It's a very beautiful place for a nature walk and I hope that more is done to restore the park to its former glory.

It is so large, in fact, that normal observation of the children should be heightened just a bit because they can get out of sight pretty easily. There are grills where and covered areas for parties and picnics. I attended a 'National Night Out' here that was set up by the Redford Police Department. They are always very helpful and kind. There is a baseball field here and some sort of trail. I haven't been able to get to the creek but it runs through the park. I am looking forward to returning here to investigate and study the creek and its environs.

There are lots of parking spots and plenty of area's to have a barbecue with the family and enjoy a day at the park. Give this park a chance and you'll be glad you did. The walking/biking path is excellent and nicely shaded due to all the old growth trees. The playground, splash pad, restrooms, and baseball/soccer fields appear to be well taken care of and I've never felt unsafe while running through. I'd give it five stars if Dearborn didn't get all rude and uptight about the way they run their parks.

An excellent Novi community park with well maintained facilities, which is a double-edged sword…read morebecause it is popular over the weekends. Thirteen miles of hiking/MTB trails. Two bikers for every hiker. It can get crowded if you aren't hiking alone with bike traffic. Surprisingly not too many bugs even though it rained the day before. TH at the very end of the parking lot. Numerous pavilions, fishing piers, playgrounds, and a small beach. I took a dip in the lake after hiking and it was refreshing, but the shoreline is small and the swimming area doesn't go much deeper than four feet. Water was clear, to the point where I could see a band aid in the sand. On another note, coming from Detroit you will run into construction on HWY 96 (Summer 22) as you near Kensington Park. I had minor delays at 9AM, but on my way back there were massive delays with only one operating lane. Check before you go.

We adore Plymouth Township Park! There's so much to do during any season. The big hill is perfect…read morefor sledding for older elementary aged kids and up and it's a bit less steep on the side for younger kids. There are trails to walk through with little streams and bridges and downed trees that are perfect for any season. The pond hosts ducks in the spring and summer which are fun to watch. There are plenty of picnic tables and pavilions to eat at or rent. Lots of different play structures are dotted around, our favorite being the large wooden one. There's even bunches and seating in the center. The best part is that there is a smaller toddler wooden park within the big one which is fenced with one entrance and exit right by the seating with swings. The highlight of the park, though, is the splash pad in summer. It's geared more towards young children and toddlers, probably kindergarten and below, but it's a lot of fun to spread a blanket in the shade while the kids play.
