Super rude. Understaffed. Have a menu of five things ran out of FRIES. The manager/owner was so rude when we asked why we were waiting at a table for 20 minutes. Just the way things were handled were so wrong after we spent $350 on 6 people for wrist bands and four drinks. When my friend ordered a drink after we just tipped the bartender ten dollars for two drinks the time before she said "I hate making that". Like Dave and busters would never. I've been to tons of places like through the years they are all pretty much the same including this one except one thing ... the staff . All of these places are mostly run by young people I'd guess 16-22 ish including this location. The difference is hands down the kindest most helpful staff I've ever seen or dealt with at one of these. All of them every area we ventured too. One of the kids lost the arcade card i went to the desk to buy a new one i assumed it was the only option i had. The young man working on his own pulled up the information needed to find the old card and replace it for me. It's the little things. The young men that ran all the games and bumper cars all so helpful and kind. Good job guys we will definitely be regulars. read more

Terrible Experience - Will Not Return If I could give zero stars, I would. We've visited Zap Zone many times -- both for parties and just to walk in for fun -- and have always been able to order a pizza and a pitcher of soda. At this location, we were told they "don't do that," which made no sense. On top of that, the pricing here is outrageous and doesn't make sense at all. From the moment we walked in, the staff's attitude felt cold and unwelcoming, and the entire atmosphere gave off a bad vibe. The way we were treated felt completely unfair and unprofessional. We came as a school end-of-year field trip and everyone had a great time! It was during the school day so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Laser tag was so fun. The maze is really big and there are different modes for gameplay: teams or ghost, which is a variant on individual. It could accommodate a lot of people in there! Even the parents and teachers played and it was a blast. We played 3 rounds, but some kids chose bumper cars or go carts instead. Lots of options! Staff was professional, very friendly, and well- trained. During our time we could play as much as we wanted on all the games with green card readers. This was about half (or maybe slightly less) of the games in there. Everyone found things to enjoy. There were no tickets/prizes for our group package (unless you had added cash to your card) and I liked it like that because all the kids spending tickets would have taken forever. We also had pizza, and it was homemade and pretty good. I'd definitely go back. They have a 9-midnight special once a month with unlimited everything for $25. We'll have to try it! read more

We were here on a Saturday for a friend's kid's birthday party, and it was super crowded. The parking was pretty limited, and it felt like wall to wall people. It's pretty warm and stuffy, but expected when it's so packed. Lots of things for all ages - arcade, racing, and other games along with laser tag, bumper cars, trampolines, go karts, jungle gyms, slides, and probably more. Super loud and lots of lights, but people seemed to be having a good time. Lots of prizes for those who like to collect tickets and bring them in. Ordered pizza and pop, both mediocre, but it's as expected too. Overall decent place for a weekend afternoon kids party. read more

Golf course is a giant trip hazard with poor layout and disappointing obstacles. Crew members don't maintain any sense of rules or control. Multiple games broken down. Go carts unusable during visit, and prices are a little high in regards to everything. Both me and my child left disappointed with the visit. read more

This is an overall fun place to go if you want to entertain a kid or two for a while. They have a lot of games, glow golf, bumper cars, trampolines, etc. But this place definitely needs some cleaning, games need to be kept up better, and more than half of the ticket counters were down. Please get some more people out on the floors keeping things in working order. There was one lady I saw that had cleaning stuff - trash can, broom, etc and she stepped on trash as she walking. Fun place. A friend of mine rented out the entire place for her grad party, so pretty much everything was available to us to try out. We did laser tag, glow-in-the-dark mini golf, bumper cars, go-karts, and the machines that were available on free play. I think my favorite of these was probably the laser tag, but everything was a lot of fun. I believe usually they are priced individually. The arcade area is huge, also, and most of the machines are highly entertaining. read more

I came here with a few friends to play laser tag on a rainy Friday night. Little did I know that they offer WAY more than just laser tag! We got two rounds of laser tag and one round on the INDOOR go-karts (yes, you read me right) for only $16. Great price. The staff are a little rude, but they're used to dealing with 12-16 year olds, not 22 year olds. Besides that, it was a really fun experience. The laser tag arena is pretty vast, but the rules kinda stink. No swearing, no kneeling (wtf?!) and no running. Kinda took the fun out of it for me but I got over it. It was an exhilarating, sweaty and exciting experience. The go-karts were a ton of fun, too! They were battery-powered little machines of destruction. We got to do quite a few laps and it was just us 4, so it was a lot of fun. In addition to laser tag and go-karts, they've got mini-bowling and a ton of arcade games. It's a pretty clean facility. This is the biggest zap zone i have been to... this place is like five times bigger then the one in Ann Arbor... I took my nephews and their friends there before we went to dinner... they had $4 go karts and that was the main reason why we went. The go karts were okay, all you do is drive around, can't really try to kick the other person off and take lead... the guy with the 'master control' will stop you and warn you... They also have bumper cars, video games, laser tag, mini bowling, etc. This place is huge... and one Tuesday, everything is like $4 expect for the video games... Go there on Tuesdays if you can... they have some good deals going on. read more

It is surprising how much they fit into one building. From the name I assumed it just had laser tag and probably some games. They do have these, but they also have bumper cars, a trampoline park, go cars and several other large rides. As a kid, I probably would love this place. The big issues for me were how hard it was to find parking, overall cleanliness and the fact that several games were broken. I also wish they would modernize and upgrade to ticketless machines. However, based on the sheer volume of machines they have, I can't even imagine how much that would cost. Overall an amazing place, just a bit to hectic for my tastes. read more

The person working the laser tag was rude and he acted like me and my grandchildren were racist even though the people we didn't want to play with were rude in the parking lot. Someone lost their phone in the foam pit of the trampoline area and when we were finished looking, she said our time was up.(the manager refunded our ticket. She was a very nice young lady) The guy running the vending machine was no help at all when we lost our money in the machine. We ended up leaving without our $3.00. Me and a group of 13 friends (ages 22-25) came here on Sunday to try something new and get to act like a kid again playing laser tag. I used to come here all the time as a kid but haven't been back in years and I was very impressed with the updates and overall upkeep of the place. The two young men working the laster tag room were very enthusiastic, entertaining, and clear on direction. They made sure that we had a good time and picked the teams appropriately. We played three games where we were playing with little kids and still had a really fun time. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something new and different to do. read more

This place was a BLAST! I called them ahead of time to see if it's age appropriate for my 6 year old nephews and the person was really helpful telling me what activities were most liked and age appropriate for them. They were spot on and my nephews loved it. My 1 year twins also had a great time walking around the place with us and enjoying all the sounds and people watching. They even had a few kiddie rides for them which was fun for them. I will definitely be going back here. Only negative was that the token service didn't get you very much in gifts which is peculiar since those gifts are so cheap anyway. Plus, you're not allowed to purchase any of them, which is just a bad business model. My babies wanted a balloon and they refused to sell them so I had to play enough games to get 15 or 25 tickets to get them a stinkin balloon. Hope they change that. read more

The laser tag wasn't to bad although it was so many people in our game that every time you turn around you ran into someone else. This place is so fun. This was the first time coming here in many years, and i was impressed with the improvements they've made to the place. They have added lot more games to the main floor, they even have mini bowling now. Came in here with a group of 12 of us, to play laser tag for my friends birthday. We called ahead, and they made sure that all of us could be in the same game. We could not get a private game, but at least able to all play on the same team. I was course is pretty good, lots of hiding spots! It was great running around and acting like a kid again! FYI - Our ages ranged from 28-36. They were very accommodating. I went here for New Year's Eve with a group of my friends (ages 26-27). Laser tag was fun. It was $25 for the whole night until they closed at 2 am. I am not sure if they offer that on a regular basis, but it was pretty awesome. The games lasted about 10 minutes long. They even offer different versions of Laser Tag games like Zombie laser tag and Ghost Busters laser tag. The zombie laser tag was a lot of fun. Adults and children played. The children were pretty loud, but it didn't bother me. I went go-kart racing for the first time and it was amazing! I believe it was around $7 per person. They have a lot of games to play too. I loved the Walking Dead game and the drop ball game that they have. You can definitely win a lot of tickets with it if you plan on trying to turn your tickets in for prizes. It'd be good to spend $20 on tokens because a lot of the games require 2 or 4 tokens. The people who worked there were very nice and helpful whenever I had questions. They also played some decent music, but they did repeat a lot of the songs. People did dance a lot too though. I had a great time. read more

Complete bait and switch advertising. The front page of the website has an ad stating "all you can play for $20" for the last Saturday in August , with all the activities directly underneath, doesn't list any restrictions or link to any fine print. You go there and they tell you "oh sorry, that's only after 10pm and only for laser tag". Would have been nice to say that upfront. I guess you need to be shady to get business. The manager was useless, didn't even attempt to fix it. My kid was so underwhelmed that she would rather us drive 30 minutes back home and swim in the backyard pool with her friends than bring them here. Between 4 kids and a couple of adults I probably would have ended up spending a couple hundred. Now, not a penny. Great business model. Do yourselves a favor. Take your kids somewhere that doesn't need to false advertise, and actually cares about customer satisfaction. read more

It's no secret that my husband is a gamer - so when it was time for a date night Zap Zone was an obvious choice! There are various locations throughout metro Detroit but we chose the one in Farmington and had an absolute blast! This place has everything: go carts, laser tag, glo golf, bumper cars and TONS of arcade games. As soon as we got there, we hit up the glo golf and got ready to play 18 holes. We were so impressed by the design of the course - it was totally indoors but they did such a creative job you forgot you were in a huge warehouse. It was a battle until the end but Dan ended up beating me by just a few strokes. The only thing that can get a little pricey are the addicting arcade games! Not that they cost a ton to play - but if you are competitive like us, sometimes it's hard to stop ;) We visited Zap Zone on a Tuesday night and the place was practically empty. So there was no line and no waiting. On the weekends it does fill up, but like I said - the place is HUGE so I'm sure no matter how busy, everyone can find something to have fun with! read more

I took my daughter and her friend there a couple weeks ago when there was no school for election day. It was my first time and I really had no idea what to expect but it was really Chuck E Cheese for the older than pre-school crowd. The kids had a blast! And it was Tuesday so there were special rates for laser tag etc. It's pretty obvious most parents must drop their kids off and pick them up later because they had very few tables to just sit and hang out. Of the 12 booths they had, six were blocked off for a party coming in that night but they wouldn't let anyone sit at them. Next time I'll do the drop off like everyone else. read more

This place is fantastic! I took my 3 grandsons there and they had a wonderful time. It was a Tuesday so the tickets were half price which meant we were able to do twice as much. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and were extremely accommodating since I had a 2 year old toddler that I was also trying to make sure was included. This was definitely a place for young kids to be at. I went here to support an organization at my college and we were bombarded by little kids as we were there. We got used to it and continued on with the fund raiser. Laser tag was pretty fun and challenging to try and shoot each other. The only thing that was disappointing was the mini golf. The course was incredibly unmaintained and significantly easy to play. I'm horrible and mini golf and I was able to get 4 hole in ones throughout the course, which was numbered incorrectly and was missing a hole or two. It was hard to tell because the cards said one thing, the whole numbers said another, and the actual amount of holes was something else. Confusing. read more
