I love this place the staff the owners are amazing. I don't care what any of these other reviews say mine is the most important this place is crucial for having fun and teaching kids how to race. I am the fastest racer in the state I dare anyone to challenge me bring on the competition and I know talk is cheap but I will prove it bring it on. Let me know. Thank you for the good times full throttle adrenaline Park you rock, God bless you and this facility!

One of the best go kart racing for the younger teens with pro style track and karts.. well this is the only one around. The karts are all electric, quite ride and fast. They have karts that go upto max of 40mph but for kids 14 and under, they limit it to 20 mph. 55 bucks for 2 hours. "Adrenaline pass" ... That's about 3-5 heats depending on how busy they are.. definitely recommend making an reservation before heading here. They have some Virtual reality and simulators on site.. did not try them. We had a small group of 8 kids and we did 4 heats. Was fun.. the place is clean.. karts are mostly well maintained. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They do provide helmets, neck protection and head socks / skull masks, but they are reused.. would recommend bringing your own. Amazon has them for super cheap. Suggestion for the business.. they could sell them for couple of bucks.

Indoor cart racing.

Longacre House - Bridge and groom with Longacre House in the background

Longacre House

This house is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. I was trying to plan a slightly rustic-chic or homey…read morewedding, and we checked out a few places that just weren't right, and when I saw this house, I fell in love. I wanted a wedding that felt like it was in someone's home and the Longacre House worked perfectly. All my guests (some of whom are not easily impressed) asked me where I found it and the venue managed to please our friends from high school, best friends from college, future in-laws, grandparents, grad students, and all the other wonderful weirdos we invited. We had 101 guests (130 is the max for this venue) and that was a manageable number. The grounds are gorgeous. We had the ceremony outside and the reception inside and that worked really well because it let us make the most of our evening without added travel time and logistics. Missy, our coordinator, communicated with me throughout the planning process (and I had a loooooong engagement and a lot of questions). The staff was professional and kind and they seem to enjoy their work. They met our every need and Missy didn't miss a thing. The food was delicious! And you know what, I had low expectations for the food because I figured when you're trying to feed that many people, keep it simple and as long as it's okay, people will eat. And, the venue was so pretty, I felt like I would have dealt with whatever the food might be like. But this food was really good! I was so relieved! They also have fairly frequent tasting events where, if you are planning an event there, you can go check out the food ahead of time, but since we were planning from out of state, we just had to cross our fingers. Thank goodness it turned out better than I could have hoped! I could keep going - charming library where we put the bar, good recommendations for other vendors, big enough to hold a crowd without feeling sterile, so many little touches - it was just perfect. Wouldn't change a thing.

The Longacre House in Farmington Hills, Michigan is a registered local historic site. A sign is…read moreposted outside that reads: "Luman W. Goodenough (1873-1947), prominent Detroit Attorney, charter member and first president of the Detroit Rotary Club, acquired this building and land surrounding it in 1915, naming it the Longacre House. The earliest portion was erected in 1869 by Palmer Sherman. The twentieth century saw several additions here including the impressive six-foot high stone wall constructed in 1917 along the east property line. In 1969, Goodenough heirs gave this handsome Georgian manor home and five acres of land to the Farmington area to be used as a community center. This facility hosts conferences and club meetings, numerous weddings and receptions, and recreation courses in crafts and the arts. Local citizens are proud of the Longacre House, which is an area landmark." I attended my fiancee's good friend's pellikoduku at the Longacre House. (A pellikoduku is a traditional Indian pre-wedding ceremony for the groom.) This house is located about 25 miles from downtown Detroit. It takes a little over 30 minutes to get to the house from downtown Detroit without any traffic. The house is owned and operated by the City of Farmington Hills. This is a beautiful historic brick home that's been well-maintained, inside and out. The outside is picturesque with finely-manicured lawns and nicely-landscaped grounds. I made sure to get a picture with my fiancee in front of the house where there is a nice brick pathway and colorful plants and flowers. The event took place inside what I believe is the Longacre House's main event space. It looks like a living room (with fireplace) that has been converted and combined with perhaps a back porch or patio area to serve as an open event space. There were five round white tablecloth tables set up with place settings (each table seating 12 people) along with buffet-style catered food and drink. The event space had a drink and dessert station while the salad, entrees, and sides were set up in a separate room nearby. The house was simple with minimal decor - nice chandeliers, curtains, and hardwood floors. There's a small garden and gazebo outside. I believe dinner catering was provided by Longacre House's in-house catering group, Gourmet Express Catering & Event Planning Group based out of South Lyon, Michigan. We had glasses of a fruit drink with slices of strawberry, purple grapes, and Mandarin oranges. Dinner consisted of spinach salad with croutons, an herb rice risotto, asparagus, lasagna, and a potato dish with vegetables cooked-in such as chopped carrots and squash. There was a coffee and dessert station with both regular and decaf coffee plus assorted dessert bites including what looked like brownie squares and baklava. In general, I thought the food was good. I love greens and vegetables so I got seconds on the spinach and asparagus. This was a fairly straightforward event. Aside from dinner, there was a pre-dinner gathering, sort of like a cocktail hour, where people mixed and mingled. After dinner, the actual pellikoduku activities commenced. There was also a mehndi (Indian body art) artist who applied red-orange mehndi "stains" to many of the female guests. Longacre House staff were present, but they were fairly hands-off as the food and drink were self-serve. They mainly made sure the food and drink stations were in order, replenished as needed, and cleared finished dinner plates. They were professionally (formally) dressed, polite, and did a good job throughout the night. If you get a chance to check out other rooms of the house or take a look around outside at the grounds, you should. It's a neat place to explore. There's plenty of parking too which is convenient for guests.

The ENTIRE staff were friendly, extremely helpful, and provided over the top, exceptional service! Two things I must point out that make Genitti's the best place to book a shower or event: You pay for the number of guests you actually have-not a minimum number that you may or may not meet and waste both money and food You drop off all of your decorations, gifts, prizes, desserts, centerpieces etc the day before -they come out to your car and take it all inside for you. After your event they pack up and take everything back out to your car for you too. When you arrive the day of your event they have completely set up everything and add their own touches. It was so nice to walk into the room and just admire it and take some pictures-it looked amazing. If you're needing the perfect place for a special event call them up-but book early!

The owner came and spoke to us before the food came out, and he was very genuine and funny. The party pants cocktail was great and the food was pretty good. We had Italian wedding soup, bread, salad, parmesan butter noodles, Italian sausage, Italian seasoned chicken (which was a little dry), potatoes, Italian steak, and green beans. Everything was served family style. Ironically my favorite was the wedding soup and bread. And the made-in-house cannolis were exceptional ! After we ate and laughed for hours, we attended their Christmas show in the theater! It runs for about an hour but it didn't even seem like it. It was fun, cheesey, cute, and interactive. I would definitely recommend this venue for events and gatherings! We had a blast!
