Took a work trip here during the day ( recreation center for 50+) planned the trip as a monthly outing and this company was great from start to finish. They were very helpful during the booking process all the way to the trip we took on a Wednesday morning in July (they were one of the only to accommodate time). Brian was our driver and had kept communication with us pre arrival via text and was very flexible as to what we wanted to see on the trip. Everyone had a great time and Brian also helped taking many pictures and gave us all types of historical information about the city. He was very knowledgeable. The bike was fun but we received communications that our reservation was 2 hours and the ride ended 45 minutes early because of a city curfew that was not detailed in any of our reservation comms. We requested to end the ride at a specific bar so we knew it would end a little early but we thought we had the two hour reservation so when we got dropped off 45 minutes early it was really confusing. It was a huge bummer and the company didn't really seem to be bothered or empathetic about it when I escalated our disappointment. read more

Great group event. We had enough folks to have two cars. Plenty of room for those who want to peddle and those who don't. The cars are motorized so the peddling is effortless. The staff was very friendly and we were able to connect our own music for the ride. We stopped at two bars along the way for refreshments. Can bring your own on the cars as well. Had a great time interacting with the folks on the street downtown. A wonderful way to see Detroit. read more

This was so much fun! I organized one of these with some friends and coworkers. The weather was looking rough, but it ended up holding out. We did the downtown tour and spent almost the entire time pedaling around, with only a couple of very quick stops at bars. Being on the pedal pub is way more fun than being inside the bars. I would honestly do one of these every weekend. They're so much fun! Make a music playlist beforehand. There is an aux cord hookup to the onboard sound system. Oh, and one last thing. There's an electric assist, so if you get tired, you don't even have to pedal. read more

We were supposed to ride in June, but the Detroit floods prevented us from doing so. Michigan Pedaler was understanding and allowed us to rebook, so we did. This time the weather was perfect and our guide, Traci, was fantastic!!! We had such a good time and even though we are all very familiar with Detroit, we rode in areas that we had never seen before! Went on a Michigan Pedaler outing this past weekend with my friends from work. We started with dinner at McShane's, as the Pedaler event starts at the parking lot kitty-corner from McShane's. It cost us $10 to park in the lot, but we received a $10 gift card to use in the bar which essentially made the parking free. I will make a quick warning for any large groups: Give yourself a lot of time to sit down and eat at McShane's. We had a party of 15 or so and it took at least an hour and a half for us to get our food and eat. As far as the actual Pedaler experience - it's a 10/10 experience. It's so much fun to ride around the streets of Downtown Detroit with all of your friends. It's also fun that the cars next to the pedal bar beep their horns, wave, and have fun at the red lights as well. The actual pedaling isn't hard, and it helps to make the ride from place to place a bit more fun. We did the Corktown tour so that included some time spent in front of the Train Depot. Man, what an awesome piece of architecture. And, as you can see from some of the photos on here, it makes for a great group photo. read more

Celebrated 21st birthdays with Michigan Pedaler!! There was a group of 14 of us and it was raining that day, so we came prepared with ponchos and rain jackets. Even with the bad weather, we packed up our BYOB coolers and biked around the city having an amazing time. We were able to blast the music, bike around, pass other pub bikes and completely make the most of our 2 hours there. Every single one of us had such a great time.. We were supposed to have 15 people but one had a very last minute cancellation so it ended up being 14 and it was still a little crowded. Our driver was so much fun!! She was dancing and super funny. We didn't really know where to stop and she took us to the 2 sponsor bars around Greektown and took group pictures for us in front of the bike and Comerica Park. There was also a trainee driver on board with us and they were both a great time. The start at bookies bar & grill was also convenient as we were able to grab large tables and bring all our gear in before the bike was prepared for us. There definitely wasn't a lot of "biking" since everyone said it didn't really have any resistance but lots of feet pedaling and dancing was involved. This was one of the best group activities i've ever done and would love to do this again. read more

This was by far one of the best outings ever. Our driver DJ took stopped us at the best bars. The peddling part is nice but knowing you don't have to pedal was the best lol. Bring your own drinks, music, and guest. Oh and bring some water lol for wind down. But DJ was great he was turnt up with jamming to Beyonce, Lil Kim and Cardi lol. Best Party Bike in Detroit. They go to areas all of the city they other Bike Companies don't and the drivers are the most professional and caring that I've seen. Riding was fun and the driver Rich was also cool and fun, however the before party at Bookies and their before open bar special for an additional $15 is a total rip off. No only could they not accommodate the wraps for 11 people without a weeks notice, their drinks are horrible and I would swear that my vodka and soda's were water with lemon (I had 4 and didn't even finish half of each). The beer on tap was flat and skunky. They couldn't accommodate the wrap sandwiches for 11 but of course they had no problem letting us order off the menu and paying double for food. Don't bother with the before or after party with Bookies, it ruins the experience. And there is no way the bike could hold 15 people - it only has 10 bike seats then a bench for 2 or 3 in the back. The driver should not be counted in the count. We were $50/per person before it even started then had to buy drinks at each bar, so be prepared. I don't have a problem with that part, just a warning. My biggest beef is with Bookies and their watered down liquor well bottles. read more
