The breeze and the water made it very comfortable even on the decks enjoying the sun. We boarded at the Jefferson Beach Marina in St. Claire Shores. The Ovation yacht is three levels of accommodations for 300 people. The event was perfect with a DJ on the top level with an open bar. The second level was the food, lounge areas, photo booth and open bar. The third level was the live band and more food. It was a beautiful day to enjoy the waterways and views of the boats plus the shorelines of both countries. A trip down the Detroit River is such a pretty sight. Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!

Our tour guide was able to share the history of prohibition in Detroit as well as shared the unique history at each of our stops. I would definitely recommend to try this tour.

The female driver Tonya was driving on her cell phone(Facebook) and swerving all over the road. She also told the passengers "Don't act black because you know they don't like us." There an actual video of her horrible driving. To top that off the two drivers had a huge verbal disagreement in front of everyone. Which made everyone uncomfortable and more fearful of riding the bus. So before you use this company please be aware that the safety of the passengers is not a priority.
