Remember - pack a light cooler, it's only 2 hour sessions! :) The waiting areas had plenty to do; corn hole, photo ops, chilling area. Aloha really does a nice job here. I was impressed with the organization of the flow. Our Captains D & Tammy rocked the house from beginning to end. Seamless. We will definitely be back. It is so peaceful and tranquil on the water, even with the party going on, it is so nice. Have your playlist ready to connect to the speakers. The registration process is easy as 1-2-3. Everyone must sign a waiver and they keep you updated as to how many still need to sign up. Parking is tricky, there is a link to pay, so have it done before you arrive for easy access. They are OLD and I don't think any upgrades have been made in well over 50 years. It wouldn't take much to spruce them up a little bit. All things aside, the Detroit River still provides some amazing views. It's pretty amazing how close the boats get to hitting the Belle Isle bridge when they pass under it. As you're approaching, it looks as if the boat is going to hit the bridge. Makes for a bit of a thrill. From reading other reviews on here, it appears they do historical tours. I'd love to give one of these a try next summer!

The boat was very clean and well maintained. They have coolers and ice on the boat for your drinks. We had 15 people and there is only 10 "bike seats" which was nice that not everyone had to pedal the whole time, and you could take turns. If not pedaling you could walk around or sit on the padded bench area. I would absolutely do this again! It would have been nice to rent for double the time as the 1.5 hour went by so fast. It is a little pricey for the amount of time you get, but fun to splurge on a special occasion!

We love that the middle of the boat has a long cooler full of ice so it eliminates the need for individual coolers on board. My recommendation is to book a boat, put someone in charge of making a playlist with upbeat songs, have a friend make Jell-O shots and bring a few snacks. Hunter contacted me within a few days of making a deposit and kept in constant contact while waiting out the weather and my work schedule. We met at the selected time and place and after some brief conversation we headed to the river. River fishing is very new to me. We talked how how to wade safely especially on the slippery and muddy conditions and how to safely wade unfamiliar water. We got started by Hunter evaluating my rig then watched my casting offering tips and suggestions throughout. We discussed different methods from streamers to nymphing as well as how to fish riffles or not. All in all I feel I got a tremendous amount of info from an experienced angler that I could ask questions as they came up and not just a YouTube video. The best advice though was to get out and do it! I felt as if I was fishing with my brother! Thanks Hunter!
