Absolutely loved coming here. Came here on a date and Mel the owner is such a cool guy! Showed us how to properly throw and at the end we battled at the end! Highly suggest coming here when you want to go axe throwing with friends, work event or anything else! Mel's the best!!

This place is so much fun! The price is super affordable and it's honestly such an iconic experience. The staff is friendly and helpful and are great with beginners. I had never done it before but I was able to throw easily at the end. Recommend! You don't need a reservation if you go in the afternoon, although I can see it getting busy at night. Perfect date night idea!

Incredible. Jason was our coach and he was very patient teaching us and having fun. There's a bar near the front with a few ROAK beers on tap and some other bottles and cans available. For me the throwing was quite challenging but all my buddies picked it up easier than I did. Jason took his time to coach us on the throwing technique. It was a great time! Good night out for the boys.

Had so much fun! It was my first time coming I thought it was going to be really hard and dangerous. It wasn't that bad you get the hang of it quick. The staff are the BEST it's obvious they love coming to work. I'm for sure coming back.

This was the location for a work team event. I wasn't too excited because it sounded scary and dangerous to me. I was horrible at it, but it was a fun time. The person who was out host was great - patient and gave great directions (although sometimes I just threw my axe to get my turn over with). My daughter now wants to go for her 15th birthday. Note: The bar is limited and the food options are from ordering from nearby places or bringing in your own.

We had so so so much fun!!!! It was a fun party idea for sure! We had a group of 8 and the tournament kept us competitive and laughing! Aaron was our coach and he really took the time with all of us to get it right! He was very helpful and kept it fun! We definitely will be back!

But this place was almost completely empty. We came on a Saturday night during the basketball finals. You would have thought a sports bar with TVs all over with the game on would have had a crowd of people. Honestly, we had a big party of 14 but I only saw one more table of people in the entire place. That tells me they are not doing enough to promote and pull in people. They are in a prime spot at what should be a busy strip mall. When I go to CAVA nearby, they typically have a line out the door with a depleted food supply due to so many customers. This place should be the same or they will not make it here. Looking at the Yelp pictures and their images I knew exactly how this place would be and I was correct. Their food seems like Gordon Food Service or Sysco, not house made. It was like Ram's Horn or Leo's food trying to be a sports bar restaurant. The prices were fine, could have been better. I had the mermaid water cocktail. That was a good price, and tasted pretty good but was not great. We also had a Rochester Red and Yueling beer which was very nice and the prices were not too bad for the beer. I had a Georgia Reuben which they just labeled as a turkey Reuben. It came with chips but I upgraded to fries. I asked for extra crispy fries, but they were extra soggy. The ranch was good. the sandwich was actually good, the bread was crispy and the turkey was nice, but it did taste like something I get at a Coney. It also stated on the menu that the meat was stacked high, and literally it was one layer of meat. A deli would have been more worth it. My husband got their burger which also came with chips. He opted for an even higher upcharge for sweet potato waffle fries. They were good but not worth the amount they charged. The burger was tasty and had a nice char, but paying about $70 for a couple drinks and a couple sandwiches that were not memorable is not ideal. We came with a large group of people and many voiced a similar opinion and did not want to meet here again. I hope Joe's takes note since in order to do well they will need to pull in large parties to sustain their business. For myself, I would meet friends again if they asked, but I would not necessarily bring the family back for a meal.

I recommend the Brighton location, ahead of the Novi one at this time. We came in on a Thursday, and while there was a decent crowd, the place was not full by any means, with no wait at the door. We waited at the hostess stand for probably a good 7-8 minutes (it's obvious people are waiting from the open design) and we just chalked it up that everybody was temporarily busy, until someone seated us. Our server even seemed to take an extra couple of minutes to get to us (maybe doing side work and didn't know) which is fine, but didn't seem very anxious to deal with another table. **Anyone that reads my stuff should know I bartended in Vegas for years. I'm the biggest advocate for staff and them having a bad night, and always over-tip, I tend to see a little more than others even when I shouldn't be watching** She took our order and we didn't see her again for a while. Actually I believe it was a manager that delivered our food, and was anxious to run and grab extra plates etc. while she just kind of casually checked in toward the end. She was not mean, she was actually very helpful, just didn't seem very "hungry" as a server, perhaps she was having an off night, but it seemed like most staff there were focused on something else BUT the customers that evening. The food was good, with the exception of being a little overdone for medium rare (no big deal) The atmosphere is a big open sports bar full of TVs, with small and large groups hanging out watching games, talking and having fun. We'll try it again in the future on a different night, hoping this was just an odd night to come in.

I'm not a fan of bar food, but it's local so I love supporting local restaurants. We must have caught them when they were out of stock of everything. Ordered a pineapple mojito (mocktail) it was just pineapple juice and tonic water. They were out of all the ingredients for it. But still made the drink and wanted to charge for it. I told her no take it back. I wanted the fried pickles, but the table next to us got the last order. The server literally told them "bad news for everyone else, but good for them". Food was very low quality. My burger was very burnt and had no flavor to it. I wasn't a fan of the fries either, but that's a personal preference as I don't like "crispy fries". The chips were ok. They did not taste fresh. Waitress was nice though, no complaints besides if you know you're out of things let the customer know. They did have live music playing and I enjoyed the selection of songs he sang. Unfortunately I didn't get any impressions of anything to say I will give it another try. I'm sure if I drank beer it might be different. They had a lot of selections, but that day we're out of many drafts.

In walking up, the restaurant is welcoming with fresh flowers and benches. While it is adjacent to the Mall, it has its own entrance. The restaurant itself is an upscale sports bar ambiance. Food on the menu ranges from typical bar food to more upscale entrees. I selected the broiled salmon with fresh vegetables and mashed potatoes - because it seemed healthier than other options. It also came with soup of the day, which was either Chicken Noodle or Cream of Potato. I selected Chicken Noodle Soup. It was promptly served, but it was too salty for my taste. When my server came by, I mentioned that the soup was too salty for my taste. She didn't offer to bring me anything else, but commented that she was sorry I didn't like it. My entree came with a salmon fillet, fresh vegetables, and mashed potatoes. It wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad either. The vegetables were freshly cooked. Underneath the carrots, there was squash, zucchini, and broccoli. The mashed potatoes were also delicious. Since I ordered the salmon more for health than for taste, it's difficult to be objective. It wasn't super fishy tasting and the mashed potatoes helped it taste better. Overall, it was a decent meal, although the entree was $24.99. I guess that's the going rate, it felt expensive, but could also be that I would have preferred chicken fettuccine Alfredo! Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area. It's not anywhere close to where I live and I wouldn't seek it out again.

They're hearty, crisp, and actually taste like potatoes--which sounds obvious, but makes such a difference. They come with two dips: a warm cheese dip and a French onion dip. I'm a chips-and-dip person, so this was right up my alley! We also tried the everything bagel pretzel bites with queso, and this was another great combination. The pretzel bites were warm, flavorful, and super tasty, and the everything bagel seasoning paired perfectly with the queso. When it arrived it looked good, but anything good about it ended there. The potatoes were dry and chewy, the meat was hard to cut and chewy like beef bubble gum, and the sauce was just nasty. To top it off, when the waitress asked how everything was, we told her she might want to let the kitchen know the pot roast wasn't very good, it was really chewy and the potatoes were dry and chewy as well, she just handed us our bill and walked away. Food quality is down, portion sizes are shrinking and they don't seem to care. It's too bad, that came highly recommended, and they were really good at first, but now that they are established they are cutting corners and destroying everything we enjoyed there in the past. We came to eat some apps, "football bowling, do some axe throwing too. We had reservations for our department from 2-4pm. It kind of looks like an office building. Then again I guess it doesn't matter what the exterior looks like. I ordered the blackened honey glazed salmon on the Michigan salad with no blue cheese and balsamic dressing instead. The Michigan salad is made with iceberg lettuce, blech. The first salad came with blue cheese atop it, gave it to another colleague. The salad was sub-bar, would be better with mixed greens, the dressing is definitely not balsamic, it tastes super sweet and syrupy, like the raspberry vinaigrette. The blackened salmon is good at least. We ordered cheese bread, nachos and hummus for some shareables. The nachos and hummus weren't too bad. One of my colleagues got the BBQ chicken wrap and liked it well, came with the sweet potato fries. Our waitress, never got her name, was great to our department team. The blackened salmon is really good. They should put that on the menu. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing is a little too sweet, too sweet. The service here was definitely a four, but the food was a three for me.
