We went to Canton's (in Michigan, not sure why it shows up as California) "Pirate Curse" escape room on Sunday (12/19/2021) evening.  What a great time!  Staff was very friendly and very responsive when we needed some nudges in the right direction a few times.  Puzzles were good (not overly hard but still challenging).  We started on time and facilities were clean too.  I think if I had to make any suggestion, its that one of the keys was kind of tough to fit a door and could use a little TLC.  We had to ask if that was the *right* key and they confirmed it was but the lock was a little sticky.  Again, not a huge problem and they answered the question for us quickly and we were able to get it to work after wiggling it a bit more.  We got out in just under 57 minutes which was pretty good for a group that included a bunch of high school teenagers led by two tired parents.  Definitely would recommend to other people.  As they have 3 other rooms, we may go back with our group to do several of the others. read more

I was very blown away by the customer service that was shown to me and my group for an event held at the escape room and zap zone in Canton. Special accommodations were made, kindness and courtesy was shown while booking the event and throughout the event. I would highly recommend booking an event here if you don't want to worry if everything will go smoothly, because it will. Thank You to Dana Hermann and the staff that were there at the time of the event, you all made this an awesome experience for the whole group. Thanks again! We had sixteen 12-14 year olds in our group and they split them into two rooms Medusa's Revenge and the Pirate's Curse. I am glad to report that each room escaped. The parents were in the lobby and watched them on a tablet trying to escape. It was a great experience for all involved. read more

We played The Witching Hour and it was so much fun! I loved the scary elements of it. The jump scares got me a couple of times! Everything in the room was in good condition and it seemed well maintained. The puzzles were fun and quite challenging. The room was just the right amount of difficult. We got there a little early because we didn't know how traffic would be on Ford Rd and were pleasantly surprised to find a nice selection of board games in the lobby to keep us entertained. Our game master was very nice and explained everything to to us before we went in so we knew the rules and expectations of us in the room. Overall a very good experience. read more

Played the Kraken Steampunk Casino room today and it was awesome! Really cool theming very immersive. The puzzles and riddles were challenging but they all made sense and went well with the storyline. Definitely a fun experience and worth the $$. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. A few of us had done other escape rooms in the past and for two it was their first time. They played a video for us that went over the basics and some rules. The lobby was really cool with interesting stuff to look at everywhere. We will most definitely be back to play their Witch and Pirate rooms. This has been our favorite escape room experience yet! read more

Immersive room, very difficult unless you have done plenty of other rooms. A couple puzzles had no clue, but the interactive Game Master was great with his clues and kept with the theme. We heard rumor that they bought the restaurant next door and were planning on adding 3 more rooms and a possibility of VR escape rooms! We will definitely return to check out their new additions when they are available! read more

I had an amazing time at this escape zone. All of the employees are super friendly and helpful. While I was waiting, I was asked if I had everything I needed, as well as given a few tips on what to do before heading into the room; eating, going to the bathroom, etc. Overall a good experience for one of my first escape rooms. read more

This location just expanded to give you more escape rooms and more experiences! Pirates Curse is an all time classic but I really enjoyed the brand new Kraken Casino! Fun puzzles to really get your mind thinking; teamwork is a must! The staff there is extremely friendly and our game master was estatic about having us there. read more

Me and my friends were looking for something to pass some time and just stopped by. Luckily were able to get a room, but for a walk in they were very quick to get us set up. We had an amazing time, all of the workers were incredibly kind and helpful, and our game master Lemon gave great instruction and hints! read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Did Medusa's Revenge and luckily won with a minute left. The puzzles were exciting and fun to work through, and the escape room sets were well put together and designed. Gamemaster Luke provided helpful clues and was very kind. I've been to a bunch of different escape rooms and this one in Canton is by far the best I've ever been to. The staff is really friendly. The room we played was so fun and the theming was really great. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun time out with friends! read more
