Wow this place- Eloise- we finally got to check it out. I'm glad we went for the haunted houses!!…read moreIt was amazing- they were the longest and coolest ones I've ever walked through. They utilized the hospital in most of the attraction, which made the whole experience even more creepy! I went for a private event, but it opened this weekend. I recommend everyone to go check out this historical site. So much has happened here in the past, you can feel the grounds energy as you pull into the parking lot. Looking up at those old windows, you can just feel someone or something peering from one! Go check out Eloise Asylum! The best haunted attraction in the state of Michigan!

Just when you exit the building you think your done but you down to the basement of the building and it was just as long as the first floor was. Definitely worth the money you spend. Also waiting in line for the second half there were people dressed in costume trying to scare you. But you can get them to do a selfie. I do think the exit out the back way needs to be lit up more and more direction as how to exit once you're out of the parking lot. I went there for an "Elite" yelp event which also had food and drinks. You also saw a lot of characters in the main area in which had no issue. It was a great event! Hope you like it too. There were several tricky clues, but we were able to figure it out. We truly enjoyed the challenge and the theme. We did escape the room, with about 9 minutes to spare. WOOHOO! The employee that assisted us was Isaac. He was very helpful, friendly, and informative. Thanks to him, our experience was great. I recommend coming here with a group of people to have fun! Teamwork makes the dream work.

As a fan of trivia, riddles, and the old-fashioned scavenger hunt, I was excited to try my grey matter at breaking out of an escape room. How hard could it be? Like the rooms themselves, the answer is not always straightforward. We were "locked" into the Ringmaster's Den with one hour to solve the puzzles that would provide us clues to crack our way out. Immediately upon entering the room, we began scouring every square inch and quickly got several good leads. The room itself was true to the theme - colorful fabric draped from the ceiling like the big top of a circus, and circus-themed items abounded, whether or not they provided clues. Circus music played in the background as we worked feverishly to break out way out in record time. It seemed that the clock speeded up as we approached the end of our time and tried several combinations to get our way out. We ended up being successful, and we got the photo at the end to prove it! I've tried several escape rooms, and I enjoyed the organized setup, the immersing themes, and the challenging hints that this one provided. For your next night out with friends where you want to do something a bit out of the ordinary, break out of your rut with a night at Breakout Escape Rooms!

We had a party of four today and we did the room "Under Pressure". We were greeted quickly and got to the room a few minutes before our reservation. The rules were made clear and the game was well explained by the in person host and pre recorded video. We were told that this was one of the more difficult rooms and we didn't make a lot of progress during the first 20 minutes, but once we got into a rhythm, we began to solve puzzle after puzzle until we were ultimately able to "escape". This is a great thing as I've been rooms operated by other companies that were very convoluted and not explained very well and we'd spend an exorbitant mount of time trying to solve puzzles that were not well thought out or looking at areas of the room which were not meant to be of any help. We even skipped one puzzle because we were able to escape without it... we cleverly circumvented it by maybe reading too much into one aspect of the global key to escape, and the employee that was watching us said that she'd never seen anyone solve puzzle B without first solving puzzle A, so that was kind of cool! And that's not a knock on the design of the room; we just figured that one part of puzzle B meant that we had to do a certain series of steps and we happened to be right and that gave us the information that allowed us to go on to the next step. I've got the bug now and I want to do more rooms and when we do, we're absolutely coming back to this location!
