I have been to quite a few escape rooms and decided to check this one out. I called the location…read moreafter finding a room we wanted to book. The woman on the phone was fast and made the process easy. There were a few things I did not like though. The room said 2-8 people. I ttold her possibly 4 would be joining. It also said online $25 per person when I clicked two people. She stated that I needed to pay for all 4, and that if I only paid for two she would charge me $70 instead of $100 for 4 people. I thought that was really strange. She then took my card information and did not offer me a confirmation email. She just said she would see us 15 minutes prior and that if we were late we would need to schedule a different time or get store credit. I asked if I was getting a confirmation email, and she said she can send me it if I needed it. These were the only things that made the experience odd. When we arrived the lady working was super nice. She went over all of the rules and explained the process. We finished the room in 45 minuted but she was just getting another room started so we waited a few minutes. This wasnt too big of a deal as it isnt typically expected that a group finishes too early. She was super nice and took photos for us. The room seemed pretty easy and they give you three hints if you want to use them. It was not that complex as the ones I have been to. I think it is a good beginner room for sure.

There were many locks and puzzles to figure out throughout the two sections (one "outside" the cabin & one inside). It was really well put together and we were given two small hints, one in each room. We finished with 7 minutes remaining. I wish there was a discount for more people, but the price was similar enough to other escape rooms in the area. We'd go back!

I have had TreeRunner on my must visit list for years now. Finally the time has come. My 11 yrs old…read moreson and I went. Prices are very reasonable. There are activities galore at the destination. We have chose 2 hour climbing park. I have called at first with few questions all of which were answered. My suggestions before going would as follows: - to fill out waiver beforehand (it expedites the entry process). - to bring your own gloves (garden, batting or even weightlifting kind would all be appropriate), otherwise you purchase at the check in desk. - wear appropriate shoes, gripped even better (we are visiting from Florida and I only had fashion tennis shoes which I do not recommend). - bring your own water bottle (it can be safely set anywhere around the park). There are drinks for purchase though such as water, Poppi, Gatorade and Celsius to name a few. - there are 9 courses total, 3 of which are for 5 years old and over. Due to time constraints if you want a challenge, start with the hardest. My son and I finished 4 and we did the opposite. By the end I was taking numerous breaks and was wiped out. I felt as if I'm missing out on the hard courses. - consider wearing pants/shorts with zippers. I wore bikers shorts with side pockets and had my phone and keys in them. At the very first course, I noticed my keys were gone. The staff were incredibly helpful. They found them before I came down from the course and safely stored them for me. I compliment the staff and appreciate their attentiveness! I will be returning with all of my kids (ages 14, 11, 5 and 3) next summer when we visit Michigan!

It's worth it to gather a group because it's 1/2 the price otherwise it's $25 per person. We were given 1 1/2 hours to get through the place but most of us finished way before that. They do remove the snakes if you're interested in holding/ pet them. They have an area where you can pet the tortoises and capybara up close. That's an additional cost. You'll find a two headed turtle, a blind snake, a few albino reptiles including an albino alligator and so much more. The exhibits were neat and clean and we loved the fact that their animals have unique names. Just learning some of their names made the experience a little more fun. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and they took their time talking with us and interacting with anyone who had questions. Petting and holding the reptiles really made the experience fun for the kids. The stacked habitats were too high to see what was in all of them. The lower ones were good enough for me to peer into..... Hairy spiders. The aquarium side had a huge jelly fish tank that let you change the colors of the lighting with the press of a button so you could see them glowing in the different colors of the water. There were sting rays, small sharks, axolotls, unique looking fish and much more. It's jam packed at every turn with creatures big and small and for all ages to enjoy. Their gift shop is nice with lots to choose from. From stuffed animals large and small to little tokens in every price range. It's definitely a fun and educational place to visit. So if you're looking for a place that the entire family can enjoy, this is the place to go for both the young and young at heart.

Chuck E. There are good and bad aspects to that as a brand strategy, and I'm sure it depends on who you are as a parent or a family when it comes to participation. As someone who misses the old animatronics and performance aspect of the curtain opening and stage time bringing all the kids to the stage for a break - the only semi-familiar supplement is when Chuck E Cheese walks out in full costume to gather kids to the dance floor to dance together. This is usually a key turnover point for families to collect their littles together. Otherwise the video screen, music, and sound is always on like a kids bop MTV channel. It's become less and less of a restaurant with games and more and more of a kid play space that has fountain soda and some pizza, and can host a party at a pretty affordable rate that feels a little more unique than a party at home. With that in mind, the games run 1-2 credits each, and kids can blow through around 40-60 credits in 1-2hrs if they break their time up with a little eating, dancing, or taking a break. Earning tickets just goes right into a card instead of producing long ribbons to flaunt winnings with- more efficient but less bragging rights. Card balances can be checked independently and refilled independently at card machines. Definitely check out the website coupon deals in advance. For example a current special has for $49.99 you can get 120 game credits, a pizza, 4 drinks, plus cotton candy for only $10 more than the 120 game credit price of $39.99 - this would be an ideal package for 2 kids with 2 parents or 3 kids with 1 parent. If you have game cards with credit left over, save them and bring them back so you can use them again another time without getting or needing to activate a new card. Overall the machines were all in good working order- which can be a lot to keep up with- so someone is doing a great job of that. They could use a few more alcohol wipes throughout the day to keep the cotton candy sticky hand feeling at bay- but on our visit there weren't that many people working the floor- and were mostly behind the counter.

They no longet have the anomatronics. They do not have the playscape slide and now have a bounce zone. We came for a birthday party and it is not included in the pack so I am assuming if you come without a party it is also a separate fee. The good thing is they do not allow it to get overcrowded but I was scared to let my 2 1/2 year olds on it because they are super tiny and some kids were way older. They are also scared to go on trampolines and bounce houses without us with them. I think it is a new fresh change. The party aspect was nice but a little hectic. The food wasn't too bad. I tried a bite of their pizza and it still tasted the same as when I was a kid. The kids loved the dip n dots icecream too. Overall its a nice place to come for birthday parties. I believe they have a package for $99 on the site. They have 3 different ones varying in price. You don't need to bring decorations. The food is covered for the kids and drinks. The big package includes gift bags too and a card that lets you play for 2 months unlimited which is awesome.

I would prefer no alcohol, however, since this was a volunteer participation activity for the crew, it was everyone for themselves. The gang started off on the first floor at the lounge.
