I've always enjoyed the escape room zones in the past, but I've run out of rooms now! They need to change the rooms more often.

I have been to quite a few escape rooms and decided to check this one out. I called the location after finding a room we wanted to book. The woman on the phone was fast and made the process easy. There were a few things I did not like though. The room said 2-8 people. I ttold her possibly 4 would be joining. It also said online $25 per person when I clicked two people. She stated that I needed to pay for all 4, and that if I only paid for two she would charge me $70 instead of $100 for 4 people. I thought that was really strange. She then took my card information and did not offer me a confirmation email. She just said she would see us 15 minutes prior and that if we were late we would need to schedule a different time or get store credit. I asked if I was getting a confirmation email, and she said she can send me it if I needed it. These were the only things that made the experience odd. When we arrived the lady working was super nice. She went over all of the rules and explained the process. We finished the room in 45 minuted but she was just getting another room started so we waited a few minutes. This wasnt too big of a deal as it isnt typically expected that a group finishes too early. She was super nice and took photos for us. The room seemed pretty easy and they give you three hints if you want to use them. It was not that complex as the ones I have been to. I think it is a good beginner room for sure. read more

Came for my sons birthday today. Had an appointment. Building closed when it should be open to whole general public. no notification, sign says they should be open Wednesday 5-9:30 but here I am on my sons birthday standing outside a locked business that should be open. Thanks for ruining my sons birthday. And having my waste money on a babysitter for my younger children. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional "business" 1 star is too kind! read more

We went to Escape Room Zone in Farmington for my sons birthday. It was VERY dirty. The Lost in Space room was dark making it hard to read some of the written clues. This place did not compare to Escape Room Novi and it was more expensive. I would not recommend it. read more

This place was awesome! Me, my boyfriend and his siblings wanted something fun to do and decided to try this escape room out. We have done 2 previously and were looking for one that was a bit more challenging. We chose the Bank Heist room and we were not disappointed in one bit. The room was set up well and when we needed help, the employee was always there for more hints and clues. We definitely want to return and do the Hostage and Stabbin Cabin rooms. I recommend this Escape Room for friends, family, or even team bonding!! read more

Our group did the Harry Potter themed room. We paid $30 a person. We are not by any means new customers to escape rooms. We have done at least 10. This room however was confusing. Not much correlates. When we asked for clues the employee was straight up giving answers, not clues. She also was giving us answers to things we have already completed, thus wasting our time due to us having to explain we already completed that. There were multiple cameras in the room, she clearly was not watching them. Also, there was no timer in the room so we were continuously having to ask her how much time was left. At the end, we had one minute left, and there was numbers written on a white board on the back of the door. I entered them in and we got out of the room. When we told the employee we escaped, she said how. We told her we entered the numbers that were already written in, and she said that those weren't supposed to be there. It was her mistake for not erasing them. She had wrote them there explaining to another group how to escape. There was also another puzzle which we had continuously struggled with, and when she walked in to look at it she said that someone messed with the puzzle and it wasn't correct. So we would have never gotten out due to this mistake. After she said multiple times it was her fault. She was sorry, we asked for a refund due to being set up to fail, and she said they can't offer refunds. She then proceeded to give us a $3 off coupon for next time. If you are the owner of the franchise I would appreciate a email from you at your earliest convenience. read more

I have waited to write this review. I did email the company privately and I have not heard back. The game was fun but we got stuck for quite a while on one part. We finally asked for a clue because the key we were looking for was not there. She came in the room and she had forgot to put the key in it's place. We had to wait while she went to find a key. It definitely killed the vibe and we kind of gave up after that. We did finish but she adjusted our time so we would still win, woohoo. I stated multiple times that I was upset about their mistake, since it ruined the whole point of the game. She just kept saying we won. This place is very unprofessional in the way the handled this situation, or rather ignored it. They ignored it the day of, and they have not responded to my email. read more

My first time at any Escape Room. Went with wife and two friends tonight. The Director of Ops was our host/emcee and made the experience quite enjoyable. We did Stabbin' Cabin (Friday the 13th) and Harry Potter. Our group won both and had a blast! Highly recommended place to go! read more

We have done several of these escape rooms and enjoyed ourselves each time. Although some of the rooms have obvious signs of wear and tear, and some clues are confusing, the staff member on the other side of the walkie is always patient with us constantly asking for guidance. I felt so safe with the COVID-19 nothing bad that I found, ash and alisha were the best and made us have so much fun!

The best experience we've had from all the escape rooms. Ash and Elisha were all fun and entertaining. Will come back 100%.

We loved the "Harry Potter"-themed escape room. The room was really impressive for Harry Potter fans. We enjoyed the creative surprises and details throughout the room. Alyssa was the individual helping us. She had a great personality that added to our experience. She was patient with us when we got stuck and provided helpful information when needed. First time combing to this location and we waited 10 min before being greeted since the guy was on the phone. We have an engagement after this and we are not going to be able to start at 6pm which is the given time. We still had to go over directions and all. Very frustrating read more

I went here and did "bank heist" with a few of my friends. It was fun during the beginning and then we started getting very confused. The lady on the other side of the walk is talkie was extremely nice with us constantly asking questions. We did have a problem with the toilet, the bolt was stripped and that cost us our time. Besides that the puzzles were fun We didn't escape but we had a great time. Next time we are going to try and work together better. That is key if you want to escape. read more

Very disappointed. We booked the room for 6 of us and were never told that they could put total strangers in with us. Had they told us that we would have had another couple come with us. We booked a time online and they changed the time on us. They room was very warm with no air circulating and it was hard to focus being that uncomfortable. they need to at least put some fans in there.The room we did was the Bank Heist. It was just lots and lots of key locks and combination locks. Not enjoyable at all. We have been to other escapes rooms and will not be going back to this one. read more

Our first experience with any escape room, I was concerned about all of our group of 5 having fun, as we were challenged by a wide-range of ages, from 9 to 50. I called in advance and was greeted by nice, encouraging staff, and was provided great recommendations and choices that ultimately proved true for our group. Our 9 and 13-year olds didn't always understand the clue connections, but were great spotting details the older people overlooked, and had just as much fun! The site was very clean, organized, and well-run. Our host, Sarah, was truly our deal-breaker of the day, as she was the one who accurately recommended the Bank Heist for our group, and was super in explaining the rules and process to us, without giving anything away. Sarah was also super helpful with our clues, confirming what we had discovered so far, giving a perfectly-timed clue. We'll definitely be back to try the other rooms! read more

Went with a group of people who had been to many different escape rooms before this one. The guy who greeted us was not very welcoming and when u asked a question seem almost confused. The room was the stabbing cabin, room was very dark and only had 2 flashlights for the group of 8. When we asked for a clue it was like he was reading from a script and did not answer any of our questions. Finally after about 40 minutes an employee entered the room to help us and what he told us was completely different than the guy on the walkie talkie. There were 2 cameras in the room and everytime we told the guy the clue he gave us did not make any sense he acted like it was the first time he ever talked to us. As a first timer at this i was totally disappointed and felt i got ripped off. When they let us out of the room the employee seem nervous when we told him of our disappointment and offered us a coupon to come back. We refused the coupon and all left disgusted. The group i was with assured me this was not how it was supposed to be because every other one they had been to was fantastic. If you are going to an escape room dont go to this one its a joke! read more

We did the Hangover and it was really clever and fun. Oddly enough, I would recommend doing it with less people. It was difficult to keep track of what was going on with 10 people. Not sure I would do it again, but would recommend. read more

The Hangover room was fun with some friends, but we took the kids tonight to do a different room. We were put into the wrong room and were 15 minutes in before the guy told us we had paid for a different room and could either stay and finish or move rooms. We moved rooms and regreted it. The room we were in was color coded and was a huge part of the puzzle. However the color we needed was painted the wrong color. If we would not have asked for a clue we would never have guessed it. We wasted most of our time working on that clue that made no sense because the color was painted wrong. When I asked the guy he said "Yea our painters just used the wrong color and we get a lot of complaints about that." So fix it or at least Sharpie in the name of the color or something. Waste of $100 for sure! The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the kid running it was nice enough to fix his mistake and give us the options of rooms and allow extra time because of it, but the room we chose is set up for failure. Honestly, paint the damn circle the right color! read more
