I'm not much for haunted houses but I have to say- I really enjoyed myself here. The pumpkin patch is a nice edition.

We are from California. A couple of friends and I had booked the Ohio Reformatory for a private investigation, and wanted to look for another place nearby. We'd heard good things about Eloise, and attempted to contact them in regards to booking a private investigation. My friend and I both called on a Fri/Sat, and left 3 messages each, on voice mail. Also emailed. Didn't hear back until the following Thursday, via a voice mail. It took them almost a week to get back to us. By this time we had given up, and booked somewhere else. They need to get their act together, and reply to people in a timely manner. read more

Wow this place- Eloise- we finally got to check it out. I'm glad we went for the haunted houses!! It was amazing- they were the longest and coolest ones I've ever walked through. They utilized the hospital in most of the attraction, which made the whole experience even more creepy! I went for a private event, but it opened this weekend. I recommend everyone to go check out this historical site. So much has happened here in the past, you can feel the grounds energy as you pull into the parking lot. This Haunted Building/House was the longest one I ever walked through with many freights and lots animated monsters or zombies. Just when you exit the building you think your done but you down to the basement of the building and it was just as long as the first floor was. Definitely worth the money you spend. Also waiting in line for the second half there were people dressed in costume trying to scare you. But you can get them to do a selfie. I do think the exit out the back way needs to be lit up more and more direction as how to exit once you're out of the parking lot. I went there for an "Elite" yelp event which also had food and drinks. You also saw a lot of characters in the main area in which had no issue. It was a great event! Hope you like it too. It was a pleasing thriller yesterday. I loved how into character the staff was whom dressed up or played a role. I had my 1st tarot reading with the yelpers! The hunted attractions were great. Part I & part II. I can definitely say i had a good scare 2-3 times if not more. I know i jumped & screamed, all while laughing and enjoying everything. The restrooms where clean. Sept 2025, 2nd visit to yelp event. I love the experience and their haunted experience. This time they had more vendors for bakery items as well as displays and tarrot reading. Although in terms of characters, I would say the evnt of 2024 aas much better. Still a good experience to go to. It is full of history, i enjoyed learning about when it was built and reasons it was shut down. read more

I was here last year and it was completely mind blowing. I was disappointed with the price point until after I had gone through the entire experience now here is what I will say. I haven't gone to haunted houses in the past few years because of the price, however now I understand why the price is what it is. The professional style animatronics are insanely amazing. They actually had people fly in from Hollywood California to design the animatronics and they spent millions of dollars on this stuff so I understand now why the price point is so high? I attended Eloise Asylum as part of a Yelp event, Freight Fest. It was my first time at Eloise and my first outing to a haunted house in many years. It didn't dissappear! The venue itself is suitably atmospheric. Truly disturbing to know this building once housed patients that underwent procedures such as lobotomy. There's probably a few real ghosts haunting those hallways! The walk through the actual haunted house surprised me with how long it is. We were walking through one alarming and largely gruesome scene to another with no end in sight. Each turn revealed yet another disturbing flight of the imagination. I have to admit that I did scream and jump on more than one occasion. Definitely recommend for adults and teen fans of this kind of entertainment, but leave the little kids at home. I was so immersed in the experience that I unfortunately mostly forgot to take pictures. That in itself speaks volumes. read more

I cannot recall the last time I had this much fun. My husband and I truly had the best time at Eloise Asylum! We were guests for a Yelp event and it was SO MUCH FUN! The staff were incredible- everyone was sooo into their character and their costumes were 10/10! So involved and so much fun. They really heightened the already incredible experience. We laughed, we screamed, we just enjoyed our time so much. Their haunted house was unbelievable. I've never been in such a long haunted house before! They have an UNREAL set up! Just when you think it's over- it's not! It is so so so long and just so well put together. Hands down the greatest haunted house I've ever been to. We WILL be back again! read more

A spooky experience on arrival to Eloise. Attending the Yelp event! I enjoyed trying the vendors' samples, many places I have not experienced before and now I know where to you in the near future from Vizzys pizza palace to Rays ice cream and popcorn. Rapid everyone was in the Halloween spirit, I loved the costumes and makeup was fantastic. I couldn't build up enough braveness to go in the haunted houses as dark was upon us but I know that was a highlight too! Going through the third floor was enough for me :) ! read more

This was my first time visiting a haunted house, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. I'm not usually a fan of scary movies or events, so I was really hesitant about going. But once I stepped inside, the eerie atmosphere, detailed sets, and spine-chilling sounds completely immersed me in the experience. It was thrilling in a way I didn't expect, and by the end, I was glad I pushed myself out of my comfort zone. Definitely worth the scare! The building's historic charm added to the atmosphere, which was electrifying from the moment we arrived. We walked through metal detectors and security checks. Costumed patients greeted us with, "I've been waiting for you," which immediately sent a shiver down my spine. Oh man, I was super scared to even enter, but that's when the fun really began. The roaming actors added to the fear, creeping around us while we were eating, making eerie sounds. It was a perfect blend of thrill and excitement! The haunted walkthrough was split into two parts: an escape room and a basement, both set up in an incredibly realistic old hospital setting. From the sounds and lighting to the smells, everything was designed to ramp up the fear factor. The scare actors were phenomenal--sneaking up with creepy makeup, jumping out at just the right moments. Some scares were predictable, but they still got me screaming when they came so close. It was all so well-executed! We were told not to touch the actors during the walkthrough, but they could get right up close, touching us and making creepy sounds to give us a real scare. Photography was not allowed during the walkthrough, which only added to the suspense and kept us fully immersed in the experience. The photo ops were amazing, and the actors were having fun with us during the pictures. Kudos to all the artists involved--it's clear they put in a lot of time, dedication, and creativity. I really appreciate their hard work and patience. We were sent in batches, and having a bigger group definitely made a difference. In the basement, the scare actors started following us, which made the whole experience even scarier! It was a perfect mix of fun and fright, and an incredible way to get into the Halloween spirit. They also featured a pumpkin land, perfect for some cool shots. There were pumpkin animatronics, all in a spooky Halloween theme. It was a nice final touch to a fantastic day. They balanced safety and scares perfectly. It was well-organized with plenty of parking, though it's not wheelchair-friendly. They also conduct thorough security checks before entry, making it feel like a safe and secure environment. Many staff members were on hand, guiding us through the floors and ensuring everything ran smoothly. I really appreciate how well they took care of us! This is such a cool haunted house experience. It makes it even creepier that this used to be an asylum. The best part is the history because you learn about the treatment of others and how scary it was to be in here. They even kept some of the same things that were in the asylum such as the ice baths. The decor was pretty cool and scary. I really liked the basement because it was cool, creepy, and fun. I wasn't too scared I was more in awe of the haunted house. People in my group were screaming the whole time so I suppose it is scary to some. read more

We splurged on the VIP tickets because we were doing multiple haunts this night. Then they didn't even open on time until 740pm so we waited just as long as everyone else anyway. The asylum itself was well done besides the fact you could tell they are severely short staffed. A lot of animatronics to replace actors. read more

I've been to Eloise for the past 2 years for their haunted house and each year was great! I will say I enjoyed this past years Haunted House experience better, but that's just because they added to it and it definitely seemed like they had more actors this year (2022). I loved it in 2021, except for the basement, it was mostly all anamatronic and hardy any actors and those things just don't really get me. This year the basement had way more actors and creepy additions! I also did the escape room with a group of 10 this year. I have to say it was by far my favorite escape room I've done so far, and I've done quite a few of them. Desiree was our host and she was phenomenal! She was so fun and really put you in the mood right up until you're locked in! We chose to get helpful hints along the way which Desiree provided expertly as to still make us think and not give it away. I highly recommend coming and doing the escape room and if you get Desiree you're in for a treat! My friends and I are also planning to do the ghost hunt here, though were leaning towards going through ghost hunts usa since you get the whole night. read more

HEART POUNDING EXPERIENCE!!! Some of the best acting characters I've ever seen in a haunted house.
