Our Pet's Water Dish - Before Firing
    Jessica R.

My husband and I spent at least three hours creating a water dish for our pets, and had so much fun doing so. This is the second dish we've made at Creatopia (I broke the first one). Creating something fun for our home was a great way to spend our day off together.

I have to say, this was a really fun experience; but when we went, no one ever came to our table and told us what to do, and I wasn't made aware that I had to initial the lid of my pottery piece so they literally only fired and gave me half of the piece that I paid for. This was really disappointing considering I spent $60 for 2 pieces.

This is a great activity place for people who likes to paint. as a beginner or an expert, they have free classes offered to teach you how to paint. You just need to look on the class schedule to make reservations and avail of the free class or pay discounted studio rates. If you're planning for a team building with co-workers, or a weekend bonding with kids, this is a good place to be creative. The rates are reasonable for occupying part of the studio, using regular paints and brush provided, as well as they fire the finished product you painted. Space is limited, no wall dividers for groups that need more privacy. This studio can be tight on space if all tables and chairs are occupied. There are a lot of blank items you could choose from like mugs, coasters, trays etc. I'll definitely comeback and try painting.

Very fun to bring the little ones and watch the creativity applied. Great for small bday groups.

Staff are very rude. They seem not care about customers at all. Not happy when u ask questions. No respect. Not fun visit. Never go again.

Yet, what was really frustrating was that during the instructions in the beginning, since none of us had been to THIS specific pottery location, there was no mention of a studio fee if we stayed over our reservation time. I have been to multiple pottery painting places (mostly in IN) and this is the first that I was charged for every extra 30 minutes of studio time. (I think it was 30 min) My daughter and I were the last of the party to finish. So, all the other girls had left. The studio was not full at all either. We ended up staying I think an hour or hour and a half past the time everyone else left. Never once was this studio fee mentioned. If I had known I would have left her piece as it was or had her get something smaller in the beginning. Knowing ahead of time would have made me less irritated. I definitely will not be going back specifically because of this studio fee not being mentioned and them having one. Pottery painting is a treat for me personally as it and knowing I'm on a time crunch really ruins the enjoyment of it. The staff were nice enough, and they had a good selection of pieces to choose from as well.
