This distillery has nice indoor and outdoor space. Hubby had the spicy watermelon drink and loved it. He decided to buy the spicy vodka bottle too. I made the mistake of getting a rum drink -- Oak and Lemonade -- and I wasn't a fan. They have a large menu of cocktails and I'd go back to try other cocktails serve was friendly and fast. read more

If you love a good distillery then this is definitely the place for you. First of all the place is beautiful and spacious and tons of seating. When we sat down we got a good description on what was served and more importantly how it was made. I absolutely loved how passionate the owner was about his product and the suggestions he made. My peach moonshine drink was phenomenal and really unique. Even though i dont live in the area I'll definitely be back to try more of the selection. read more

FLEMINGTON: in addition a a bunch of breweries, NJ is home to a bevy of distillers and Brie was so happy to meet up with her friends at Skunktown Distillery! Leashed-dogs are allowed inside the small tasting room and at at the outdoor area with fire pits! You can get a tour and tasting for $5 and sample the whiskeys, vodkas, rums, gins, and other flavors. We LOVED the apple pie moonshine! Their is also a nice list of delicious cocktails to order from and enjoy. This family owned distillery offers informative tours, samples as well as a full bar (byof - bring your own food)...run by a nice couple who distill spirits from local ingredients. The vodka was smooth, their Spicy Vodka (has the infused flavor of the Carolina Reeper which they grow on the farm). Don't be fooled, this vodka is HOT...I couldn't finish the tiny taste they gave me, eyes were watering, mouth was a 2 alarm fire...but I'm told it's great in a Bloody Mary. Both couples I attended the tour/tasting with walked out with bottles of Apple Pie Moonshine: 140 Proof Rum and Vodka, blended then mixed with apple juice concentrate, maple syrup, brown sugar and settled with cinnamon bark. It's liquid apple pie with some "Adult" mixed in. They can barely keep this on the shelves! read more

Love this place. The guys who run it definitely know what they're doing and have a passion for the industry. Tour is informative, the alcohol excellent. They have more and more products coming out onto the market, and I look forward to coming back often to try them. If you're a daring sort, ask about their "super spicy" vodka. However be aware: it is not a joke, you should not take it lightly, and be prepared to suffer tunnel vision. Two drops of it had me hurting for a solid 5-6 minutes, and my wife for even longer. Highly recommend the apple pie moonshine - excellent and delicious in their mule drink. read more

(Five stars for the products) Visited about two weeks ago on a Saturday (the Saturday when it was 65 degrees out). It wasn't busy at all right around the time we went (around 2:30, just after they opened), but I'm sure it was because it was January and so warm outside. Small distillery that's making some excellent gin, rum, vodka and moonshine. Did the brief tour and then tried small sample shots of 6 of their gin, run, vodka and moonshine. All are very clean tasting and delicious. I love heat so the spicy vodka that made with an infusion of Carolina reapers was awesome. The apple pie moonshine is also excellent, and easy to drink the whole bottle. There is a small bar area (about 2-4 stools) if you want to sit after the tour and have them make you a few different menu drinks. You can also walk in and just purchase what you want as well without doing the tour. Nice to have a distillery about 20 minutes from where I live. Definitely will go back for some more spicy vodka and apple pie moonshine. Look forward to the future when they introduce a bourbon as well... read more

I've been here three times and continue to be impressed! Everyone here is super friendly and knowledgeable. They are more than happy to answer all of your questions about distilling. Everyone here has a smile on. My favorite spirits by Skunktown: apple pie or maybe the spicy vodka, or the regular vodka... or the rye, no the rum or the whiskey.... well everything really. Too hard to choose just one!!! Prices are reasonable. Flight of three samples accompanying a tour is $10. Drinks are a good price too. There is space to sit and have a cocktail with a few friends.
