I play pool tournaments here and purchased a cue here as well. Friendly staff and decent tables.

We were purchasing a break cue for a friend after the 1130-3pm special had ended. Was asked to pay now or after I browsed. I chose to pay after to keep it on one bill and make it easy. We put the balls on the counter at 2:59pm and took a cue to the counter at 3:07pm. 1 of us had already paid, to be able to close out the table. The remaining person's bill came to the price of the cue plus $10.13.why?.....because WE WAITED TO MAKE A PURCHASE?!? ARE YOU F'ING KIDDING?! Yup, charged an extra hour. AFTER someone paid their $5 and returned the balls. Why on Earth would anyone be charged after that, especially when they stopped to make a $100 purchase from you?! No tables were in use and we were at the counter and asked for the other $5. Her excuse "you told me to wait" wait for what?? A retail purchase. We had no table or balls to shoot! It was an open dialog among 4 people, about making a break cue purchase. No ambiguity at all, as the phone call dictates. We had our friend on speaker (phone calls are recorded on that phone line) and she refused him the govt, military, veteran and EVEN the league DISCOUNT. Wow, way to lose a sale and 3 loyal customers. Absolutely gobsmacked! But it gets better!!!! The lady said, and remember, the call was recorded, "you don't want the cue stick now?! Now what am I suppose to do?? I travel a lot for work and decided to stop in to buy a cheap cue and case that I can travel with. They have a great selection of various priced cues and accessories. I found a cue that was more expensive than I was looking to spend but the price was great. I shot pool with it for a couple of hours and really enjoyed the place. The tables are really nice and clean. I'll definitely stop in every time I travel to the area. read more

Great room. Very cheap prices. I know just about every room in New Jersey and the prices at Break Away are the cheapest in the state. The equipment is in mint condition always and the place is very, very clean. There is a small arcade upstairs for those who want to play video games, free wi fi and darts as well as a small selection of food. There is also a great selection of cues and accessories. APA players are given a 10% discount on all store items. In addition there is a house pro there that gives lessons once per week. The rates for lessons are far cheaper than anywhere I've ever experienced (about $20 per hour) and the pro is very knowledgeable about the game of pool. They also are able to easily accommodate birthday parties, corporate events and private events if you want to rent out the room. It's a shame more people don't know about this place, it's about the best kept secret in Flemington. There are very few places you can brings friends and family in the cold months. read more

A beautiful pool hall with a small arcade upstairs. They provide everything you'll need to play, there is a set of vending machines near the front for snacks and drinks of you want. The whole area is kept clean and they play music on a stero and it's loud enough to reach the far end of the room, but it's not so loud that you can't easily have a conversation while you play near it, you won't really even have to raise your voice. I would recommend this pool hall to anyone who wants to play pool but not necessarily be at a bar, it's a great place appropriate for adults and kids of any age. read more

A great place to go with friends. Very chill place. I think there's like 10-or-so tables. They have tournaments every now and then, too. They have a large selection of supplies; everything you could possible need. As of 11/5/2017, it costs ~$20 per table per hour. Example: 4 people playing for 1 hour would each pay ~$5. Clean high quality tables, cues, balls, lights. Perfect place for a guys night out. It's BYOB. You can build your skills, and have fun. Go here any time you are bored and need a place to hang out. This place is fun but if you screw up once or twice you will get yelled at even if it's by accident. I was there for a hour and I didn't screw up till the end I screwed up two times and the person said cut the crap or get you stuff and get out. This place isn't good if you are new at pool because people who are new at pool hit the ball up in the air by accident and there is a no jumping role.
