Chicago flavor is in Cincinnati!…read more I stopped by Knuckles Deli & went straight for the sandwich they're known for -- the Italian Beef. Knuckles Deli opened in March 2026 by owners & friends Britton de la Chapelle, Cesar Salazar & David Hall, and they're bringing their love of Chicago-style food to Cincinnati! After years of working in the restaurant industry for other companies, they wanted to have a place to call their own. Let's get into the bites! I ordered the Italian Beef Hot & Dry, topped with Marconi Giardiniera + Cheese on a Turano roll straight from Chicago, with their Au Jus on the side to dip it in. Both the Italian Beef & Au Jus are made from scratch using Cesar Salazar's old family recipe, and you can taste the love & tradition in every bite! That savory, juicy beef + the kick from the giardiniera + that Au Jus dip? CHEF'S KISS. Of course, I had to round out the Chicago experience with the Potato Salad & Chicago Italian Beef Kettle Chips, which were yummy as well! My favorite bites? Definitely the Italian Beef & Au Jus!
