Disappointed we werent able to bring our dog inside or on the patio.. Seriously? What brewery doesn't allow that or at least on the patio. I get they serve food so in that respect they've lost their micro brewery appeal ad for ad I've see it. Hit nap Steamworks and same deal there. Durango brewery allows dog on patio and they serve food so the excuse that we got from Ska and Steamworks made no sense. Beer was good at all. read more

I knew just from reading about this place I would love it! The beer was sensational!!! We loved the atmosphere and the ska music in the background. Being a punk/ska girl this was my kind of place. We are looking forward to revisiting on our next trip. We will be searching a way to get their beer in Michigan. read more

Excellent pizza and salad. I got the beer flight to sample a variety of beers. I didn't like a couple of beers available this time of year in the flight. I would have liked more of an amber option. Other than that it was great. read more

We went at 645 pm, heard their pizza is the best in town, but when I went to order was told "we're out of pizza dough and cheese." Arghhh! WTF! This was our first impression of dining in Durango since we came here after getting in to town. Had a blonde and it was good, nothing remarkable but good. Had a burger and it was overcooked but did the job. The Reuben that was had by my partner in dine was on point so that was reassuring. Vary cool to have a Ska brewer here n Durango, with ska music having such a contemporary, and hip, and modern feel. Durango lacks this sort of thing a lot, but it is made up for in a major way in this place! read more

Took a tour (4 PM daily) and they gave me a free beer to take with. The best Imperial IPA I think I've ever had. They also gave out free tasters at the bar, had live music and tasty food, and had some awesome beer. One of the highlights of our trip. read more

The facility was really nice. The love the sampler so I could try more of their beers. You can a tour of the brew house. They have bar seating and table seating. Small food menu but we didn't stay for the food. read more

Decent brewery. Everything tasted fine but nothing was exceptional. One of those breweries that we're ahead of there time and in the 90s this would have been a gem. Staff were great though and I'm guessing they have a great locals following. read more

Went with my wife on a business trip down to the Durango area and being a lover of all the local brews here in Colorado, I made a point of stopping by the Ska Brewing Co. Absolutely worth the long drive from Denver. There was a medium size crowd, but the atmosphere was very casual and kick-backed. Ordered the sample flight of five, so I could try 5 brews straight from the brewery. All were great but they had a few seasonals that I fell in love with, Big Shikes (which packed a citrus and slightly hoppy punch) and the Mexican lager (light, refreshing and crisp and wonderful with a lime wedge). The staff was very friendly and seemed to know all the locals by beer choice and sometimes by name too. Also they have a great lil Mexican food truck that parks there for lunch most days. Was very happy that my local liquor store in Denver carries Ska, so I can get my fix up here. If you are in Durango, go stop in for a brew or two and enjoy. read more

We attended a private event here Saturday night. Great location, fun live band, and though I only tried their stout (designated driver status!), it was oh-so-very-goooood. I really liked their patio, and the place is nestled right up next to the mountain, so the view was lovely. read more

The big bad voodoo daddy of breweries in the 4 corners area, thankfully our high expectations were met. The beer is awesome, food was great, good service, very nice dog-friendly outdoor seating. As fans of 3rd wave Ska music we also enjoyed the theme. read more

The beer is good and the atmosphere is cool. The beertenders were less than attentive despite there being a small crowd on a Sunday. We were glad to try it but wouldn't return. Cheaper to just buy cans at the liquor store. read more

Beers were a 5 star but the service was at best a 2 star so I compromised with a 3. If you want to go just to say you went to Ska Brewery then great but if not save yourself the trouble and just buy a six pack read more

Great staff and wonderful food made this brewery stop very special. Quite a selection of brews and I loved their Bump & Grind Stout. It made the 3 hour drive worth it. We'll be back. read more

While vacationing in Durango we heard about the brewery from someone on a white water rafting trip. We love local breweries so popped in today. First thing I saw on the menu was their homemade potato chips. I am a potato chip connoisseur and they were delicious with the dip they serve too. My husband loves the margarita flatbread and I've heard their pizza is amazing. That being said..... the beer. My husband had the true blond and the modus hoperandi. He loved both. We had heard they do tours and asked when we got there. Tours are at 4. Somehow we didn't hear them call for it and no one went. When we came inside and asked the sweet girl behind the register arranged for us to still get a tour. Mike was so gracious and did an fantastic job educating us about the craft beer made there. He didn't have to take the time for the tour but he did and that's the personal touch that makes this brewery a def stop on your trip to Durango. We got hats and a t shirt too! Research how the brewery for started in 1995. It's an awesome story! read more

Simply the best. Try the seasonal beers, Mexican Logger in the summer and Euphoria Pale Ale in the winter. Great beers.

I purpose to visit SKA at least 3-4 times a year and seems to get better each time. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating and the food is fast and great for the price! I always stock up on True Blonde as I can never find in Dallas. Great spot! read more

So many great beers, and I love that they offer a sample flight of all the beers they currently have tapped. I think it was $10 for a flight of 10 (I received 2 extra samples) My favorites had to have been Buster Nut Brown, Rudie Session IPA and Pinstripe. Definitely check it out if you visit Durango! read more

Great beer, great food! One of the first places to ask for a temp on the burger and it was perfect. I would come back here anytime.
