This was our first impression of dining in Durango since we came here after getting in to town. Had a blonde and it was good, nothing remarkable but good. Had a burger and it was overcooked but did the job. The Reuben that was had by my partner in dine was on point so that was reassuring. Took a tour (4 PM daily) and they gave me a free beer to take with. The best Imperial IPA I think I've ever had. They also gave out free tasters at the bar, had live music and tasty food, and had some awesome beer. One of the highlights of our trip. read more

The facility was really nice. The love the sampler so I could try more of their beers. You can a tour of the brew house. They have bar seating and table seating. Small food menu but we didn't stay for the food. read more

If you like beer, they have an enormous selection. Their bartenders are great, especially Alexa!

The beer is good and the atmosphere is cool. The beertenders were less than attentive despite there being a small crowd on a Sunday. We were glad to try it but wouldn't return. Cheaper to just buy cans at the liquor store. read more

While vacationing in Durango we heard about the brewery from someone on a white water rafting trip. We love local breweries so popped in today. First thing I saw on the menu was their homemade potato chips. I am a potato chip connoisseur and they were delicious with the dip they serve too. My husband loves the margarita flatbread and I've heard their pizza is amazing. That being said..... the beer. My husband had the true blond and the modus hoperandi. He loved both. We had heard they do tours and asked when we got there. Tours are at 4. Somehow we didn't hear them call for it and no one went. When we came inside and asked the sweet girl behind the register arranged for us to still get a tour. Mike was so gracious and did an fantastic job educating us about the craft beer made there. He didn't have to take the time for the tour but he did and that's the personal touch that makes this brewery a def stop on your trip to Durango. We got hats and a t shirt too! Research how the brewery for started in 1995. It's an awesome story! read more

Get a flight, they were all really tasty beers. I took home a six of Mexican Logger. Hope to make it back to the Midwest with at least one for our Friday night tasting. BBQ pulled pork sandwich was also very tasty. read more

This place is one hell of a great brewery, it's a ways out of town, not a great place to walk to, so don't drink too much so you still can drive to where your staying. Tasty beer, lots of choices, and some canned beer to take home with ya to get that buzz you're looking for. The food joint in there is awesome, the pizza is the bomb. Went with my wife on a business trip down to the Durango area and being a lover of all the local brews here in Colorado, I made a point of stopping by the Ska Brewing Co. Absolutely worth the long drive from Denver. There was a medium size crowd, but the atmosphere was very casual and kick-backed. Ordered the sample flight of five, so I could try 5 brews straight from the brewery. All were great but they had a few seasonals that I fell in love with, Big Shikes (which packed a citrus and slightly hoppy punch) and the Mexican lager (light, refreshing and crisp and wonderful with a lime wedge). The staff was very friendly and seemed to know all the locals by beer choice and sometimes by name too. Also they have a great lil Mexican food truck that parks there for lunch most days. Was very happy that my local liquor store in Denver carries Ska, so I can get my fix up here. If you are in Durango, go stop in for a brew or two and enjoy. read more

We attended a private event here Saturday night. Great location, fun live band, and though I only tried their stout (designated driver status!), it was oh-so-very-goooood. I really liked their patio, and the place is nestled right up next to the mountain, so the view was lovely. read more

I purpose to visit SKA at least 3-4 times a year and seems to get better each time. Their staff is always friendly and accommodating and the food is fast and great for the price! I always stock up on True Blonde as I can never find in Dallas. Great spot! read more

So many great beers, and I love that they offer a sample flight of all the beers they currently have tapped. I think it was $10 for a flight of 10 (I received 2 extra samples) My favorites had to have been Buster Nut Brown, Rudie Session IPA and Pinstripe.
